I like girls! Girls of all shapes and sizes! If you’re a girl, that’s all I need!

What’s your favourite type of weather?

Well, because my line of work is outside, I have a couple. When I’m not working, I love the rain. I love splashing around in it, singing in it, and having fun with my friends in a great big rainstorm.  But when I am working, I love a great pleasant sunny day, with a light breeze that’s not too hot or too cold.

What’s your favourite animal?

A cheetah! They’re the scaredy cats of the Savannah and I’m the scaredy cat of California! Also- fun fact: when cheetahs run, they can have all four paws off the ground at one time!

What’s your favourite mythical/extinct creature?

A Phoenix! The whole concept of being reborn out of the ashes is just sooooooo cool to me!

How did you get your start in whump? How did you find it and what were some of your first fandoms in it?

Hi Nonny!  So excited to get this!

I started with whump before I can even remember. Ever since I was a child. My first memory of having a friend over is playing a superhero called Blackout who’s main problem was that she suffered from fainting spells. It’s just been something I’ve always connected with.  But since I’m not really a big social media person, I only started this blog back in August 2019. I knew other people liked whump but I had no real idea what this community really was. And I thank whatever led me here because I love this community so much and I’m so glad to be a part of it. I don’t even really remember how I found this side of tumblr, I think I saw a tagged whump post and clicked on it in curiosity and then whoosh. I found my people.

Some of my first fandoms were Star Wars, as my father showed me the OT when I was like four, Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, (honestly basically everything DC) Star Trek, and Indiana Jones. My fandom list has grown considerably since I was a kid, but those are the ones I can remember enjoying.

WIP Wednesday

... I am aware I am posting this on a Monday.  Shh time is relative in a pandemic.

So I was recently tagged by @whatiswhump to do post a piece of my work in progress from a current WIP so let’s keep the creativity flowing and keep on supporting each other’s work.  In between my newly restored job and chatting up a storm with friends, I am writing a new fic, since right now I don’t have the ability to focus on my bigger projects such as my original fiction novel and my multichapter Lucifer fic.  I will get back to them but stress is high right now so here we go babies! I really hope you like it!

Bakugou frowned, opening his eyes a sliver.  Bright, fever red eyes stared up at him, the familiar anger he’d gotten so used to almost a balm to the former symbol of peace.

“Where are the damn kids?”  Bakugou’s voice was stronger, his anger giving him strength.  “Damn, stupid brats, won’t leave.”

“Bakugou, it’s alright.”  Toshinori did his best to sound soothing, though he wasn’t sure how the young hero would take it.  Bakugou had never been one to accept comfort.

He’d never really offered before either, though.

“No.”  Bakugou’s fevered eyes looked right through him.  “Brats.  Find the brats.  Deku, get them out.  Gotta get them out.”

“Bakugou, please, the villains are defeated.”  Toshinori said.  “You’re safe, the children are safe.”

“Deku, you gotta get them out.”  Bakugou made to sit up, unable to keep the cry behind his lips as his arms shrieked in protest, but the willpower he so often admired in the young boy overrode his body’s scream of pain.  “Can’t let him touch them.  Can’t let him win.”

“Hush, young Bakugou, it’s alright, it’s alright.”  Toshinori tried to gently urge him back down.

“Get offa me.”  Bakugou spit, the incensed expression Toshinori’d grown almost fond of now striking fear into his heart.   “I’ll kick your ass.”

With a strength he didn’t think the young man was capable of, Bakugou shoved at Toshinori, catching the man off guard and causing him to stumble.

“You won’t win.”  Bakugou growled, his arms moving to Toshinori’s horror, as if the boy would crawl away from him, not running away from the battle but to stand once more.  The two medics made to push him down but Bakugou’s palms sparked weakly, his quirk trying and failing to match the willpower behind it, but it was still enough to cause the medics to jump back.  “I won’t let you.  You’re not gonna touch those kids.”

“Young man, please you must rest.”  One of the medics said, trying to push Bakugou back into a supine position.

“Get off me fucker!”  Bakugou wrenched his shoulders out of the medic’s grip, eliciting a shriek of pain that Toshinori knew he would fight through.  “I’ll kill you!”

“Bakugou, please, it’s alright, you’re safe, the fight is over, you must rest.”  Toshinori pleaded, dodging Bakugou’s flailing limbs.

His legs floundered as he tried to stand, nearly getting Toshinori but catching the other medic in the stomach.  Bakugou thrashed, causing freshly sealed wounds to spill blood once more, with tears streaming down his face, and cries of pain hurting Toshinori’s heart as Bakugou screamed in pain and defiance.

“Get off, motherfucker, I’ll kill you, you’re not gonna touch those kids!”  Bakugou’s voice cracked under the strain.

“Bakugou, Bakugou, please, stop, you’re alright.”  Toshinori beseeched the boy, the universe even, his heart hammering in his chest as Bakugou wouldn’t calm down.

“No, no, get off, don’t touch them, Deku you gotta get them out!”

“Katsuki, listen to me!  You must calm down.”  Toshinori shouted, desperately grabbing the boy’s shoulders, careful of his injuries even in his panic.
