Why do I love him?

The man who did not get justice, who went through torment in which everyone saw how he was treated, the one who tried to improve but, at the same time, ended up destroying his life in the process.

He created a wall around himself so as not to be hurt, since he never learned to love properly or to integrate into a society, isolating himself even when he has freedom, it is the only thing he knows

Even when everyone believed the worst of him, he did everything to save them all, his classmates, his students, an entire world, even if it meant sacrificing his life and the judgment of others.

He is so broken, he doesn't know how to love, he wasn't the best, he was rude, he hurt others, he hurt others, but still, he wanted to see them succeed, he had high expectations of others.

We have been through a lot, life has really been cruel to both of us, we both suffer from loneliness and poor integration, the fear of being hurt, and the lack of social knowledge (my autism)

We both deserve a safe place, I always attributed my comfort characters with the need to feel safe, it makes me feel safe, we are both broken, even if we would create wounds for each other

I couldn't choose anyone better to feel safe in some way, even if he was a piece of shit, I was one too, but, it feels good to think, maybe, and just maybe, I still have salvation,We both can be saved, it's just that misfortunes gave us unfortunate paths, we are not bad people, we just had bad luck.

We could have had support, we could have had something better and realized our potential, but unfortunately, poverty, pain and self-hatred consumed us.

I still have time, luckily for me, but still, I can't help but want to hug him tightly to tell him that everything will be okay.
