I guess if the dominant person isn't tall, then they'll have a domineering personality. Like Crowley in Good Omens, and Mickey in Shameless. But then, the question is imo, are the domineering personalities and taller actors chosen for the POC character who's part of a MM couple?

I'm basing this off of a personal childhood experience, just to give this whole possible dynamic some context. I'm brown-skinned, and a very well-meaning art teacher said to me, 'Why don't you draw your character as darker.' I went with it, but what my friend next to me did next really shocked me. She said, 'I want to make my character tougher, so I'll give her dark skin.' He didn't correct her, nor did I. So up until the age of 12 (she was 13 btw), I had never thought people could attribute personality traits to skin tone, and much less being "tough" to being brown-skinned. I'm interested, therefore, to see if this might be the case in the media when it comes to interracial MM couples, or if I'm reading too much into things. ☺️

summer fries - date scenario, pov reader - day 3

'What are you doing?'

I was shocked as Cha Eunwoo snagged a fry from my fingers with his teeth.

'I couldn't resist. It was either that hot fry or your caramel fingers '

My cheeks went pink, pinker than they already were under the hot LA sun.

'What do you mean by that?'

He cocked his head to the side, and lazily let his gaze drift across my front. He somehow was making me melt faster than the hot summer day.

He reached across the picnic table, and grabbed my forearm. I looked down instinctively, and melted even further from seeing the contrast of his lighter golden skin against my deeper bronze, and his muscular masculine hand against my softer skin. He bent down to look me directly in the eyes.

'Let's go back to my place, and I'll rub cold cream on all of your hot spots.'

I gasped, but it only encouraged him to get up and draw me closer. I didn't know what exactly I was in for, but I couldn't wait to find out.
