My thoughts. My feelings. My words. Stories are my greatest refuge and inspiration. I'm going to explore all those ideas, feel the influence, and just read, write, and edit.

I Love This. It Shows Us No Matter How Far Down You May Have Fallen, There's Always A Chance To Come
I love this. It shows us no matter how far down you may have fallen, there's always a chance to come back up even stronger :) - is long as you're passionate about it, and work hard on it.

Famous Failures
I stumbled upon this video a long time ago and it honestly made me feel a lot better.
"If you’ve never failed, you’ve never lived."
I could not fit everyone mentioned in the video in this post so be sure to give the video a look.

I think the greatest lesson I ever learned in life, the one that really made all the difference, was simply this: I am not alone.
The knowledge was shocking to me, something that resonated in my core, because it was a knowledge I had not known I’d needed, one I had not realized I was bereft of. But once that empty space of loneliness in your life is filled with a person, even briefly…it made such a difference. All the difference.
You are not alone. Not forever.
This is why I admire Lauren DeStefano so much :D - I strive to be just like this with my own stories someday.
I just finished reading your Chemical Garden series, and I loved it. I particularly enjoyed in the first book your exploration of the connections and relationships between the female characters. A lot of times in YA, it's all about the romantic relationships, rather than the platonic ones, when platonic ones are some of the most important ones in a YAs life. So, thank you for doing that.
There are lots of kinds of love and I think YA in general could stand more of that. There are plenty of YA readers who don’t always crave romance and I wish more books could exist to let them know that’s okay.
this is to encourage us and to feel a lot more better about ourselves.

Less worrying about silly things, more cake and self confidence!
They’re never just books. They’re whole worlds bound in paper and ink and spines. They’re the friends who never left you behind, the ones who were always there when the rest of the world wasn’t, the ones who turned a rainy day into an adventure. They’re the ones that didn’t care that you were a little overweight, that you had glasses or flat feet or had to use an inhaler at the thought of a mile run. They’re the ones that didn’t laugh or make fun. They’re the ones who encouraged you to think, to work, to create, that showed it was a worthy endeavor to put words to paper. They’re the ones who inspired, pushed you to make your own worlds, your own stories. Like a symbol of scientific notation, stories are an immense force of the universe bound within the confines of something as small as a paperback.

I’ve seen a few fashion posts trying to expand the “Marie Antoinette is not Victorian” rant, but this stuff can get complicated, so here is a semi-comprehensive list so everyone knows exactly when all of these eras were.
Please note that this is very basic and that there are sometimes subcategories (especially in the 17th century, Jacobean, Restoration, etc)
