Earlier, I saw a post that mentioned Sweetheart/Warden by @cha0t1cl0v3 here, and my brain was thinking many thoughts.

These two work for The Department, that’s pretty much a given- and get regularly paired for cases together. Sweetheart refuses to ever take a partner, but they’ll admit that they’ve grown fond on the demon. Warden on the other hand stays on the sidelines and helps where they can, thinking Sweetheart avoided paired cases with them purely out of fear because they were a demon. But that truly wasn’t the case.

There’s a lot of sexual tension here, stuff that would even make Gavin blush. Warden sitting at their desk with an opened case file sprawled out on the desk before them, and Sweetheart leaning over the desk to point out specific details on the paper- and getting oddly close. Warden’s eyes glued to the paper as opposed to the stealth practically pushing themselves in Warden’s face. Warden has always had a fascination for them: how hard they work, how determined they are, and how they just- don’t give a fuck at all. It’s admirable, something Warden could never do as a demon working for The Department.

Sweetheart always finds their eyes wandering to the demon as they quickly make their way across the room. Sweetheart is- intrigued, by them. These two are always getting close together by “accident”, and the only one who seems to notice the tension is Cutie (who I headcannon also works for the department): they’re always giggling at how red Warden gets when Sweetheart is leaning over them, and how Sweetheart smiles up at Warden when they’re proud of them.

Warden’s eyes are always all over Sweetheart when they’re up close- admiring every inch of their face, and every curve of their body. However they find their eyes lingering on their lips most of all.

They absolutely make Mac and cheese in the kitchen together at four am, also pouring different alcohols into the food and trying them out. “AY MILO YOU GOTTA TRY THIS VODKA MAC AND CHEESE SHIT RN COME HERE” ….yeah they’re wasted as fuck. Angel has done various different shots off of Sweetheart and Babe.

Just- in an audio- at a pack event or something- the boys reacting to all the crazy shit they’ve done together and for the dialogue (that I know isn’t possible because they’re fucking listeners), it’s just silence with the occasional David scoff, Asher laugh, and Milo’s sarcastic commentary.

Sweetheart picking Babe up (because Sweetheart is strong asf), and throwing them over their shoulder. “Yeah sorry Ash, I’ll be borrowing this for a little while.” And as they carry Babe away, the hallway echos with deranged laughter and the occasional “ASH!!! ANGEL!!! HELP.”
