I Feel Like People Dont Talk About Imperium!Sweetheart Enough. I Mean- Yeah We Dont Get An Appearance

I feel like people don’t talk about Imperium!Sweetheart enough. I mean- yeah we don’t get an appearance from them, but Milo mentions them twice at least. So I’ve got a pretty good idea as to what to expect from our beloved stealth investigator within the imperium universe. (My brain making something out of nothing again- below the cut)

Sweetheart is absolutely ruthless, they don’t care what they have to do to get the job done- as long as they get the job done. But they’d rather die than ever lay a finger on Milo.

They empathize with Asher, but are reluctant to back his methods. They’re quick to stand up for Milo, and have threatened Christian’s life a few times over. Speaking of Christian- he’s terrified of them. Which is why he was quick to lie to Asher about who caught Babe first. Whenever he’s paired on missions with them, the pack can see him physically tense- and Sweetheart loves it.

They love making people afraid, seeing the fear mix in their eyes every time they uncloak sends a shiver of pride down their spine. Sweetheart can be pretty sadistic at times, and Milo’s so in love with them for it. Sweetheart feeds off of fear, Christian calls them a demon for it. But they can’t help but want to give them a reason to avoid them.

You’ll never find one without the other- Milo and Sweetheart have been attached at the hip pretty much since they met. These two would do anything to protect one another. “Their one piece of normality within the chaos, their light in the dark.”

Milo can be pretty tough and cocky on the outside, especially with the pack. He takes his position as Beta very seriously. But when he’s alone with his mate, he’s home, he’s safe. He can relax and let the facade down.

There have been instances where Milo returned from a job, and upon seeing Sweetheart; he sighed heavily into their arms. Eyes closed, accepting every comforting phrase, every praise, every gentle kiss of reassurance. These moments are when Sweetheart doesn’t have to be so alert anymore, they can just hold onto Milo and finally feel stable again.

I don’t know what it is about: badass aggressive couple on the outside with everyone else, but sweet, loving, and relaxed when they’re alone together- that gets me so so soft.

Character as a conversation I just had

Angel: ask me the time.

Darlin giggling: what?

Angel: ask me the time

Darlin still giggling: ask you the time?

Angel: yeah :D

Darlin: what’s the time?

Angel pulling out the pocket watch they brought: I’m so glad you asked-

Morning Afters with Milo feel like they run in slow motion. Neither Milo or the workaholic we know Sweetheart to be, move an inch to get up out of bed. Aggro is purring at the sight of Sweetheart wrapped in Milo’s arms as the ruffled covers wrap around them again with a gentle kiss to their forehead. “G’mornin’ Sweetheart,” his voice is smooth and sweet like honey, and his eyes are barely open as he flashes a dreamy smile down at his mate. Arms are always wound tighter around the other, touches never ending; a hand always finds another, a kiss always finds a shoulder or neck, and a hug always clasped a torso.

Barely anything needed to be spoken between the two, it’s as if they’re both telepaths who preferred mindspeak to the common murmured confessions of love in the short morning hours. But they just knew- words sat on tongues, sweet ones- but were released into the mouth of the other with a gentle kiss instead.

WAIT- YESSS, David trying so hard to keep his eyes off of them. David meeting Angel after the show, and them being more then intrigued by a security guard lounging about, waiting for them in their dressing room- eyes all over them, slightly flushing at their cocky grin and…. yeah. Let’s just say they shared a heated kiss or two or four before the security team left for the night. Angel absolutely hired them a second time after that. Asher teases the hell out of him when he finally gets back.
