So I finally after like literally years decided to watch the demon slayer anime as I have read the manga and I've just finished it (watched it all in one go)
Is it just me or did Ufotable like pretty up the Shinazugawa siblings? (Sanemi and Genya)
Like we got Genya in the manga
To Genya in the anime
And then Sanemi in the manga
To Sanemi in the anime
Like please tell me I ain't mad!
Why do they look so pretty they are quite literally the most brutish characters in the series!!!

Given that there's a whole Shen Jiu specific part of the fandom, it baffles me that tianjiu isn't more popular. Like this man's entire type is 'emotionally repressed beautiful cultivator' and you think he wouldn't take one look at shen jiu and crank up the seduction to twelve.
And Shen Jiu who has abandonment issues on top of his showing healthy affection issues, wouldn't look at an extremely clingy, freely affectionate demon and reluctantly see him as a light in the darkness.
Like I blame qijiu for being such a 'fated soulmates' couple but I love the tianjiu dynamic. Or zhujiu but tbh I like zhuzhi-lang for shen yuan a lot more.
Give the man a dorky demon husband, he deserves it.
(Also Shen Jiu affection perfectly lines up with traditional demon affection so I feel like he'd just have a small trail of accidentally seduced demons trailing behind him and we need to capitalise off that more as a fandom)

I've been reading this svsss fic called 'You Reap What You Sow' and I'm really loving it so far. Basically Luo Binghe is a transmigrator and there are the Shen Twins in this version of the story he transmigrated into. Shen Yuan as Shizun and Shen Qingqiu as Shifu, their relationship is gorgeous may I add. Shen Qingqiu the protagonist of the story he transmigrated into, Shen Yuan a side character and Luo Binghe as the villain. As you can guess Binghe falls head over heels for Shen Yuan (it's Binghe how could he not?) And so on so. Don't wanna spoil the whole fic that I know of so far lol
Anyways, I'm at the Abyss section of the fic and cannot bring myself to actually read said section (I find Abyss sections in fics a drag to read ok!!!)
Was wondering if anybody who's already read the fic knows when that section ends and if there's anything actually important in it I should know or if I should just suck it up and read the bloody Abyss arc lmao

And her name will be Shen Ba which she later changes to Shen Juhua (combination of daisy and flower)

The fic will likely have Shen Jiu x Mu Qingfang content (I'll need a name for before Mu Qingfang got his name)
I'll probably give Shen Jiu's twin sister a personality like Pairin or Meimei from the apothecary diaries but I'll need a name for her lmao

Luo Binghe, the demon Lord of the Three Realms, lay dying in his home. His oh so beloved wives had grown restless and bitter. They had revolted, angered by his indifference after marriage. How he ignored their concerns and needs in favour of working. How their conversations always ended in sex. Bitter bile being all either felt after the exchange
....
Luo Binghe dies and goes back in time where he finds real family and joy with whom he saw as an enemy in a past life.

I'm fucking with their ages as I accidentally made Yue Qi look so much younger than the other two lol
Shen Yuan (who's gonna get a different name later on) is 7
Shen Jiu is 6
Yue Qi is 5
And the baby is about 2 months old
I can't decide if I want to just call the baby the chinese equivalent of Maggot or actually give em a name XD

I couldn't figure out how to draw this prompt so I'm just gonna discuss my thoughts on it (I hope you like the half rendered drawing lol)
Prompt: Art class with Shen Qingqiu (Shen Yuan). I know he teaches painting, but what I don't know is how good he is at it and how much his students are progressing. Something light and humorous about shen yuan struggling to teach art class, or if you take this as an art prompt, maybe a comparison of some of his students' projects.
I personally think Shen Qingqiu would have 0 clue what 'good' or 'bad' art looks like and would just give out grades and criticisms based on what looks more aesthetically pleasing or not. I imagined a scenario where Shen Qingqiu accidentally causes an art war amongst the disciples on Qing Jing over who's art is best. Ming Fan and Luo Binghe would constantly be competing against each other, claiming their art to be the best on the peak.One day they surround Shen Qingqiu and force him to tell them who's art is best. He chooses Ning Yingying's.
Safe to say Ning Yingying gets practically harassed by Ming Fan and Luo Binghe as they both demand she teaches them her secrets.

I've only every read 5 which had me hooked, like why do all the really good fics that have both of them together have them as brothers??? I'm planning on rewriting a fic I had began writing but never finished from like forever ago The fic has Shen Yuan's family in it but I don't actually have any names for his two older brothers, little sister and parents. In the original drafts they were all just Japanese names for some reason. Has anybody got any ideas on what to call them?
