and like i do think american militarism is a valid concern but like if you’re worried about that how does the possibility of trump second term not scare the shit out of you? the guy classified information about his drone strikes, said he wanted to go to war with venezuela because he didn’t like maduro and assassinated an iranian general all within a three year period, and now other republicans are banging the war drums about mexico??? which come on trump is obviously going to get behind, if that’s an issue you care about then keeping republicans from power should be a priority for you

If you think that AOC, who met with Gustavo Petro and cosponsored M4A, is a neoliberal sellout because of sunscreen, you have a kindergarten level understanding of politics. If that brand owner who you're mad at her for making a video with supported m4a, would you oppose m4a just because one business owner supported it? Negative polarization is a hell of a drug.

Politics involves coalitions and working with people who aren't your perfect brand of a true leftist, and if you think sunscreen regulations that allow for better UV filters that will help protect people who work in the sun, including when the literal farm workers union agreed with AOC on this, you don't actually care about politics besides being edgy.
