★ — He knows he's annoying him ( it's not difficult to tell ), knows that's Michael's way of telling him to shut the hell up without directly saying it. Most kids would listen, maybe even feel intimidated into apologizing before falling hush. Gregory isn't most kids.

Instead, he breathes a half - laugh, glancing over at the man with a smile that's not quite shit - eating but isn't anything sheepish either.

"Yeah, I do!"

Said perfectly pleasantly, as if he isn't intentionally pushing buttons. It might be smarter to not antagonize one of the only people ( if not the only real person ) looking out for him, but he can't help it.

★ — It's been a couple of months since the night at the pizzaplex, since Michael took him in ( from stranger to guardian in the span of six hours, yet still more time than the majority of his foster parents ), and while things have been far from perfect .... it's been nice. Michael cared, which is far more than Gregory can say for most of his previous guardians.

"Hey —,"

He tugs at Michael's sleeve, a quick touch just to get his attention. There's something that's almost anxiety settling in the back of his throat ( despite living together, their guarded personalities kept them from talking about .... well, anything about themselves really ) but he pushes past it with little hesitation.

"What's your favorite movie?"

idk I could definitely weave some sort of web and connect gregory to fazbear entertainment but I think it's a lot more tragic and true to the narrative if he is just this supremely unlucky kid who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time
