gregory struggles to admit he's homeless to really anyone ( in the time surrounding security breach ; admitting he's a foster kid is much easier ) due to his fear of being turned over to the authorities and sent back to the foster system plus his general distaste of being pitied but he especially doesn't want to tell freddy — it feels too much like he'd be disappointing the animatronic if he tells him he has nowhere to go even if they do manage to get him out of the pizzaplex, especially when freddy has done nothing but try to help him and gregory is fully aware this is something the bear can't help with.
