If you think this iconic introduction of the Five Wives caters to the male gaze, then you seriously need to take a good, hard look at your totally sexist life and your chauvinistic choices. Absolutely nothing about this scene glorifies tits, ass, legs, or pussy in a manner intended to arouse a straight male viewer, so please sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up because your arguments are otherwise rendered invalid.

I also have the first issue and my heart broke with Nux’s backstory </3 Tragic! My only major complaint was that I felt Nux deserved a solo prequel outing rather than being shoehorned into one comic together with Immortan Joe.

Like.

I wanted to see detailed pages and panels of his childhood as a War Pup and eventual ascent as a War Boy driver.

That, and how he became partnered with Slit because OBVIOUS REASONS, okay?

And I’m kind of worried for the second issue of the Fury Road prequel comic miniseries because while the focus is mostly on Furiosa, the Wives are also a big part of the story and I really think that those girls also deserve a separate comic to fully flesh out their backstories because I LOVE THEM SO MUCH and hnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg FEELS.

But yeah.

Totally excited for the second issue to come out!

If the War Boy fans do not find this incredible specimen attractive, then I will fucking set their distressed cargo pants on fire because they are MEDIOCRE LIARS. We all need to induct Zombie Boy as an official War Boy, like for real. I can’t actually believe the filmmakers had a missed casting opportunity with him! He also happens to be an actor, too, and I think he would have slayed even if his role was relatively minor tbqh.

I still can't believe though that nobody has yet seen that the ultimate modern day War Boy (at least in terms of physical aesthetic) is Rick Genest a.k.a. ZOMBIE BOY. Like, for real: he has an incredible full-body tattoo that makes him look like a decomposing skeletal zombie, he's also bald, AND has fierce body piercings to boot. In other words: SO FUCKING HOT! Now imagine what it would be like if Zombie Boy was one of the War Boys in the Citadel. Shit would get hella real hella fast.
