Day 3: Bakugou Katsuki/Midoriya Izuku

“Oh my god, fucking KILL YOURSELF!” Katsuki shouts, as bits of rubble rain down, forcing him to flit around, pulling civilians to safety instead of chasing the villain.

His earpiece buzzes.

“Kacchan, you can’t say that.” Izuku sighs. Katsuki can see his lightning dancing through the rubble a few feet away.

Katsuki snarls, bringing a wide-eyed girl with fins to her mother.

“Why not?”

“It’s a liability. We literally can’t afford to get sued.”

Once they corral the crowd out of danger, Izuku appears in front of him, brow raised.

“Come on, like we practiced.”

Katsuki groans, but rubs his hands together in preparation of a burst. Izuku bobs up and down beside him, charging Fa Jin.

Then, together, they tear off towards the villain.

“Stop, in the name of the law!”

Katsuki kind of wants to barf.

Day 13: Scott Summers/Logan Howlett

"Settle." Scott's voice is low, but powerful as he approaches a twitchy Logan.

No one is sure what happened, just that one minute he had been rolling his eyes at Scott's lecture about going off on his own, and the next, he was bristling, baring his fangs and pulling back to hide in the ruins of the building they'd just evacuated.

Logan growls at him and snaps his teeth, twice. Scott ignores the threat and shoots a hand out to grasp at the back of his neck, like scruffing a kitten. This doesn't happen often, not nearly so much recently, but over time Scott's learned it's best to swiftly assert dominance when Logan's like this. Otherwise he doesn't know what to do with himself, and that can be dangerous.

As expected, Logan's shoulders slump immediately, a low baying whine escapes from his clenched teeth.

Scott presses his thumb further into the base of his neck. Finally, Logan quiets.

"Good. Let's go."

It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Day 16: Link (Legend of Zelda)

There is a toll that heroism takes. No good act stays unpunished. Every life Link takes, no matter how evil, is a strike, and the tallies build.

He can't not do as he is destined, but sometimes, when he's alone, mopping his own blood from his skin, he wishes he didn't have to. Surely, this cannot be all there is.

Is it so wrong to want peace? To hope, each time a blade makes it past his armor, that it will be the last? He has done nothing but fight and bleed and kill for his people. For Zelda.

When is it enough?

Day 6: Hank McCoy/Logan Howlett

"How much longer?"

Logan blinks in the doorway, leaning in a loose-collared sweatshirt against the jamb as a yawn shakes through him. Hank looks up from his laptop, humming.

"I'm not sure." His expression softens as he takes in Logan's slumped form. "I'll try to be quick."

With a low growl, Logan stalks into the room, slipping between Hank's arms and budging up against his chest. "Too long." He mumbles, nosing into the side of Hank's neck.

Hank chuckles, taking the aggressive affection with good humor and shifting around until the two of them are laid on the couch, his laptop rested against the gentle curve of Logan's back.

"Good?" Hank asks, adjusting his glasses to look down at Logan, who rumbles contentedly.

"Good."

Guys…. Bad news…. School has started and I am veritably DROWNING in work bc as always I have bitten off more than I can chew. SO I’m going to put the 100 days on pause for now and update when/if I can from now to January (when grad school apps are due) and THEN when I hopefully have more time I’ll be able to start again. IM SO SORRY FOR EVERYONE WHO WAS ENJOYING I WAS HAVING SO MUCH FUN,,,, in the meantime if there’s anything you wanna see feel free to use my askbox :)

I keep doing these so late, but still on the day so ha ! This ones not romantic just a bit of riz feels 💚

Day 7: Riz Gukgak

“You’re not as smart as you think you are.”

It’s something Riz has started telling himself, when he feels like he’s getting too cocky. Too comfortable.

Overconfidence gets people hurt. People he cares about. No matter how many cases he solves, how many pieces he puts together, it’s never a sure thing. Nothing is ever true until he proves it. And he needs to remember that.

It’s not exactly a kind thing to be thinking about himself, but it’s pretty tame compared to some of the other thoughts he could choose to vocalize. And it helps. Or it will. In the long run.
