You set a timer.
You had fifteen minutes to get yourself ready and presentable at the table.
Fifteen was always the most that owners would be generous for.
So you worked your magic and moved quickly. Your small form allowed you to be more agile, giving you a higher advantage of speed. You quickly got into the shower after ensuring that the pyjamas you were wearing were safe on the counter and would not get wet. You lathered the soap and showered. Coming out of the bathroom, you made sure to fully dry yourself and the bottom of your foot so that you would not have to do extra work of cleaning the wet floors later. Quickly re-entering the bedroom, you shrugged on the clothes that your new owner had left on the bed. Picking up the bra and panties, red-ringed your cheeks as you blushed from embarrassment. God, you were not made for sexual appeal. You didn’t know how to pleasure somebody.
You were taught housework and fighting. You didn’t know much about sex - if one does not count the times that your previous owner would sell your body off to his ‘friends’ for more money. But you knew, you knew that everybody there was only in it for the money. The money your owner had received from your successful biddings comes in cold hard cash. The money your owner receives when you climb the ranks to become one of the top fighters despite your breed. But you never got anything back.
You only received more praise from him to help him gain more money.
Again. Money.
Greed. Power. Money.
These are the three things that every person who steps in that ring wants and has. Greedy, powerful bastards that you hybrids could do nothing against. Their little first-time facades are always in place to ensure that they dig their hooks in so deep into you that you can never leave them.
You quickly cleaned the shower room, making sure that not a single speck of dust or a droplet of condensation was to be seen on the glass. You fluffed your bed and drew the curtains, hastily making your way out of your room. But the moment you stepped out, you realized that… you didn’t know the layout of the house.
Essentially, you were lost with two minutes to spare.
You turned a three hundred and sixty degrees, finding a flight of stairs and bounded down. Luck was certainly on your side today as you found yourself looking right into the kitchen. Turning your head right, you found Mr Park sitting on the sofa, looking at his phone. You stood at the edge of the stairs with your hands clasped tightly in front of you and head bowed, waiting for his order. As the time starts to click and Mr. Park doesn’t seem to notice your presence, you start to sweat internally.
What if he beats me cause he didn’t see me?
Should’ve just called out to him.
But we aren’t supposed to talk!
“Y/N? What are you standing there for?” Your eyes tilted upwards, peering through the curtain of your hair. Mr Park was patting the seat beside him. “Come sit. I told your doctor to push back the appointment timing so that we can have lunch together. Come on.”
Hesitantly, you walked over and sat opposite Mr. Park. But your bum didn’t make it to the floor.
“Hey now,” Mr. Park cooed at you and you turned away. You’ve never been coddled for so long. “There are chairs, don’t sit on the floor.” Mr Park lifted you and brought you around the table, placing you where he intended for you to sit.
But you weren’t facing the table of food. Guess eating together means - he eats, you watch. Together.
Your thoughts were cut off when you felt your hair being combed through and you nearly jerked away from the touch. It took all your self-preservation to not jump out of the seat and hide under it instead when Mr Park’s fingers softly grazed the base of your ears. They twitched uncontrollably as he continued to play with your hair. You sat still, back stiff, as you let him do as you wish.
“All done!” Mr Park cheered before you saw a flash of light and a picture placed in front of you. Your hand instinctively went to touch your hair. It was indeed braided really nicely. This sudden form of intimacy threw you off guard. All the time as you grew up in both the facilities and under your past owner’s care, there was no one who would show you this level of care. The closest that could come by was your silent friend whose words cut like thorns but don’t bleed.
You let a small genuine smile lift the corners of your lips. “Thank you.” You bowed your head deeply as you turned to him.
“Oh, so you do talk!”
You stiffened. You read it wrong again.
What a stupid, stupid hamster.
“Well, whenever you want your hair done, come by my room!” Mr Park once again, made you confused. Your head tilted slightly at the implication, trying to find any second meanings in it. You must have made it too obvious as Mr Park corrected, “I’ll do your hair in every single design you want as long as you’re happy.”
You brought your eyes up a little to see Mr. Park smiling down at you.
Seems… genuine. But you have never been a good judge of your surroundings.
As you bowed your head again, you suddenly wished that your hair wasn’t tied up so that you could use it to cover your face, giving you a leeway for emotions when you need it. You were once again brought out of your thoughts when you felt cold metal touching your lips. Jerking back, you swung your hand, lashing out at the object, afraid that it would bring you harm. Your fist was quickly caught into another, one that gently caressed the bruised knuckles from your last fight. You tried to wrench your hand away but it held firm.
You weren’t used to so much affection that it was overwhelming, You needed a break. As you opened your mouth to say something, an object was shoved into your mouth. Your eyes widened in shock as you left your mouth hanging. You didn’t want to eat it.
Drugged. Drugged.
You believed.
Drugged. Drugged.
You vigorously shook your head.
“It’s not drugged.” Mr. Park finally let go of your fist. “Eat. I promise it’s not.”
You shook your head, tears pooling at the side of your eyes. You didn’t want to. You didn’t want to eat. You didn’t want to cry. But you’ve always been an emotional one. So as your tears started spiling and you tried your hardest to control them, you saw Mr. Park get up from his seat and walk away.
At least that left you… somewhat alone.

Seokjin was in shock. He didn’t mean to make her cry. He truly didn’t!
But as he saw the tears stream down your too-hollow cheeks, Seokjin immediately got up, going to find some sort of… comfort item. He thought perhaps he could break your barriers a bit faster - to give you a little more of a push - after he had tied your hair. You had allowed him to do something of such intimacy that he thought it would be okay. He had accidentally brushed against your ears and saw that they had kept twitching. But you hadn’t said anything, so he thought it was okay. And even before that, when you stood at the bottom of the stairs, staring at him. Seokjin had busied himself with his phone so that you wouldn’t feel his attention on you and give you more stress. When you sat on the floor, he picked you up so easily that your weight scared him.
Granted, prey have a lighter weight compared to predators but fully grown prey females shouldn’t even be of this weight. You were severely underweight it was even a surprise for you to have taken all these years of torture.
Seokjin stopped in his tracks.
Torture.
Oh god. Oh god.
Seokjin bent over on the floor.
You weren’t okay with what he had done. You were merely putting up with it because you were afraid. You didn’t know what else. This was what they taught you so this is what you do.
“They always tell us that our whole being is in the control of our owners. Your body and our mind.”
Seokjin cringed. “What?!”
Jimin nodded, looking out of the window. “We are nothing and the only use of us in this society is for what we were bidden to do in the auction.”
“And what was that?” Seokjin was afraid to know. He now understood why Jimin was so frisky around him the first few years.
“There were many. But at any time, we could always switch the moment our owners say so.”
“Did you even want to study performing arts then?”
Jimin nodded, “It took me quite a few years to finally understand that I am me and I am okay.” Jimin turned to Seokjin, putting his head on his lap as Seokjin’s hands instinctively went to scratch his ears. “Life became better when Dad found me. Thanks for life, brother. I’m glad to have known what it means.”
Seokjin couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe that he would be so blind as to forget where you came from. So blind as to turn a blind eye to your history. He had pushed you enough. He’ll let you come to him at your own pace. Seokjin got up from his crouched position on the floor and headed back to the living room with a handkerchief and a stuffed animal in hand. You were crouched over the sofa, body shaking uncontrollably. He hurriedly ran over to you, lifting you up from your position.
One look at you and his heart broke.
He shouldn’t have pushed you so much. He needed to remember that you were just like an eight-year-old Jimin - absolutely terrified and scarred. Seokjin took an empty bowl from the table and opened your mouth, signalling for you to spit the food out. He wasn’t going to force you to eat it if you didn’t want to. He could pack some in a lunchbox for when you feel hungry later. Placing the stuffed cat in your arms, Seokjin dabbed the handkerchief on your cheeks, soaking your tears. Pushing the loose ends of your hair to the side, he tried to calm you down. Soon, your tears turned to soft whimpers as you fought to intake more air.
The both of you stayed in that position for a while before Seokjin went back to the kitchen, bringing two sets of lunchboxes in hand. He packed the food in the boxes and kept them in an insulated thermal bag. He could see that you were getting sleepy after the ordeal so he tried to move as quietly as possible, clearing the table and washing the dishes. It wasn’t until Hoseok texted him that he was downstairs that Seokjin walked over to you and poked you awake. When Jimin was younger, Seokjin remembered his mom reminding him to always use this method rather than shake him awake.
You woke up with the sleepiest eyes and pout that Seokjin couldn’t help but coo at.
“Come on now, we gotta get going to your appointment.” You slowly got up, not letting go of the cat stuffy and held it by the paw. The way you walked and held the stuffed animal reminded him a lot about Jimin. The cat was his favourite toy and he would always hold it by the paw in the early mornings, refusing to part from it until necessary. He never did grow out of that habit.
Seokjin carefully led a sleepy you around, careful to not let you bump into objects and by the time the both of you reached the car and he strapped you in, he was already exhausted. He made a side note to never let you walk about just as you woke up. You weren’t even fully awake when walking!
Hobi passed Seokjin his cup of much-needed coffee as he drove off the clinic. Seokjin has chosen the best clinic possible around this area for you. Prices don’t matter if it is for your well-being. The whole ride was approximately thirty minutes and what Seokjin wasn’t yet prepared for was how scared you were of moving vehicles. Seven minutes into the drive, you seem to have finally reimagined enough consciousness that Seokjin asked if you wanted lunch. You looked at him with ultimate fear in your eyes, clutching the toy to your chest. Seokjin had learnt from the situation earlier that you were about to have another drop. So he broke down as many things he could and could not do in this situation.
No rolling down the windows as the noise might further trigger the drop.
No hugging cause you were not comfortable.
No food as you to think it has been poisoned.
The cat seems to be helping but it looks like its head is about to pop off if you were to squeeze it any harder. It would really hurt to lose that toy. But Seokjin realised that you constantly buried your nose in the toy.
It contained a fraction of Jimin’s scent. After having passed for four years, Seokjin kept his room as it was, often cleaning it. But his scent was slowly lost from the rooms and his items as well. Not that he would know of it but he was warned by other hybrid owners and the internet that it would happen one day. Just a nice coincidence that you liked the scent of Jimin. It ached his heart to see you clutch the toy for dear life while trying to hang on to some piece of sanity.
His scent and Hobi’s scent would do nothing for you.
It wasn’t until Hobi placed an extremely worn-out blanket on the middle of the backseats that Soekjin broke out of his thoughts. Your eyes grew ten times bigger than he had ever seen and lunged for the blanket, snuggling in it, rolling and purring.
Can hamsters even purr?
It was more of a chirping sound - a happy sound.
You had long shifted into your animal counterpart - a winter white dwarf hamster, Seokjin recognised. How in the world did you even… Get here? Your breed was a Russian breed.
Russia to Korea?
Seokjin took himself out of his headspace as he watched you happily roll around and a small smile lifted the edges of his lips. The blanket had looked quite… familiar but Seokjin shrugged it off to designs. As Hobi stopped right outside the clinic, Seokjin smoothly grabbed you up with the blanket, toy, and clothes. Stepping out of the vehicle attracted a lot of attention from passersby, making you burrow deeper into the blanket. Seokjin, on the other hand, wasn’t fazed. He took a loose edge of the blanket to cover the top of your little burrow, protecting you from the intense gaze of the people around. He walked straight into the clinic with Hobi in tow, the both of them sitting down after registering you in the clinic’s system.
“Ms L/N Y/N.” The receptionist called out and Seokjin stood up, gaining her attention. “Room 5, please. Dr. Shin will be waiting for you.”
Seokjin thanked the receptionist while turning to Hobi when he said, “Just go, hyung. Little hamster’s health ain’t gonna get any better with you standing here.”
Soekjin sighed. “Do you…” He hesitated. “Do you wanna come in as well?”
Hobi shook his head. “Little hamster and I aren’t acquainted yet. It’s best if I don’t see.”
Seokjin nodded his head, understanding where his brother was coming from. He had just a sliver of hope that he would agree so that he would have a bit of emotional support when he received your health news.
“You’ll do fine, Hyung.” Hobi patted his shoulder. “Little hamster is strong too. She’ll be okay.”

As the both of you sat in the car with Seokjin in the driver’s seat this time, you couldn’t help but swoon over the taste of the pancakes this morning. They were sweet - unlike anything you had - soft like clouds, and oh-so-flavourful. They weren’t too strong for your stomach to digest and the fruits gave the pancakes a good balance. You were enjoying the feeling of the whipping cream and syrup too much at the table.
Oh, but you couldn’t help yourself! You’ve never had anything like it!
You sunk further down into the seat, melting like whipping cream at room temperature. You heard a soft chuckle coming from your right and your eyes followed through, finding Mr. Park’s chocolate brown eyes staring back at you. They didn’t look sharp and malicious like the ones in the ring, nor did they look vicious and calculating like all your previous owners who had sold you off when your services were no longer needed.
Mr. Park’s eyes looked… Soft. Careful.
His actions were not like others you have encountered either. Usually, you were given tasks to complete immediately. No time for resting, no time for accommodating. The only good part is the first few months of silence. You are not usually beaten or used during that time. However, Mr. Park never asked anything from you. He fed you, bathed you, gave you a place to stay - and yet, he asked for nothing in return. You didn’t know to feel afraid or at ease. You’ve never had such an owner and you wanted to understand him better. To open up to him.
But it was difficult.
You still hadn’t recovered and you were not comfortable putting yourself in situations that made you feel like bolting to your room the next minute. Ever since learning of Mr. Park’s soft spot for his calico cat hybrid, you had wanted to know more about him.
Only to find hints that it isn’t our silent best friend.
Yes. Only for that reason. Only so.
Maybe if you said it many times enough, you would convince yourself so.
You saw the opening of the gantry gates and perked up from your seat. You’ve never been into a mall and today, Mr. Park has brought you to pick out your own collar and leash. You had decided to trust him - albeit too easily if one says so. But yet again, you’ve never picked out your own collar. You’ve always worn those heavy, metal collars - in place to ensure obedience during training and fighting. You’ve always been yanked and pushed, causing your neck to be constantly red.
The moment you felt the car park, you unlocked your seat belt that Mr Park insisted you put on and jumped out of the car. You heard Mr. Park chuckle from inside the car as you looked around. You were underground, in the car park. Staring at all the cars in the area, a sleek-looking, holographic car caught your attention. It was a shiny surface and every time you moved, the sheet shone a different colour.
You were completely mesmerised.
But you were broken apart from your boggling when you heard Mr. Park call out to you. Hastily walking over to where he stood, you grabbed onto the sleeve of his coat and walked beside him. Taking the elevator into the mall was a whole new experience. There were so many strong scents - some natural, some artificial, and some with a heavy heap of perfume. Your nose crinkled as you fought off the urge to sneeze at the sudden bombarding of smell.
Your twitching must have alerted Mr. Park as he took out the cat stuffy and held it in front of you. Your eyes widened. Is it truly all right to bring… toys out? You carefully took the stuffed animal from Mr. Park’s hold, watching its movements and reactions.
But nothing.
It was almost as if he knew that this would happen and brought it along. It looked so natural to him that you couldn’t help but tuck your head down in embarrassment. You could’ve controlled yourself better. You knew you could.
As the elevating dinged at the seventh floor, Mr. Park led you out. With one hand holding the edge of his sleeve and the other holding the stuffy at your nose, the both of you walked into a shop called ‘All For Hybirds’.
The entrance was huge.
Walking in, your senses were immediately overloaded. There was so much to look at you didn’t know where to start, there were so many people that all the scents just… merged together, and there was so much noise. Everybody was talking, everybody was doing something. You stood there in fright. You didn’t know what to do.
Should you fight? Should you run? Or should you just… collapse?
You felt like collapsing. You felt lightheaded.
You tried to stay calm. You tried to find Mr. Park. But all the lights seemed to have tripled in brightness and all the chattering seemed like the booming base of a concert. They sounded like the screams of bidding after every fight.
Suddenly, you felt a body collide with yours and in your already frazzled state, you couldn’t catch your bearings fast enough and fell to the floor. Looking up, you saw somebody trying to talk to you. You see his mouth moving, his eyes growing frantic, but you can’t hear anything. You crawled away from the unknown male and started to look for the cat. You wanted the stuffy back. But the tiles on the floor were black and with your blurrying vision, you gradually found it more and more difficult to find your stuffy.
A sudden shriek made you wince, ears already sensitive. You were overloaded and you just couldn’t take it anymore. Just as you were about to break down, a pair of large arms grabbed you. You tried to wiggle out of its hold. You didn’t want anybody touching you but your owner.
Where was your owner?
Where’s Mr. Park?
He left you, silly girl.
No, no. He wouldn’t.
Yes, now just -
“-my voice.” You felt a large palm caressing your hair, unbraiding the braid. “Listen to my voice. Y/N, copy my breathing.”
You tried to get air in your lungs but coughed out instead. It was hard.
You whined.
“Try, try. Y/N, try.” Suddenly, you were wrapped in a warm blanket with Jimin’s scent enveloping you. “Copy my breathing.”
Mr. Park.
You tried. Failed. Tried. Failed. Tried again.
Slowly, you regained enough consciousness and clarity to realise that you had caused a very big scene. Everybody was staring at you. Feeling embarrassed by the weight of their stares, you softly mumbled out a sorry and hid in Mr. Park’s shoulder. His broad form proved useful in situations like this. As Mr Park carried you into a room within the shop, you realised that between the both of you was your stuffy and you snuggled into it.
The both of you spent a while in the room - in silence. Mr. Park was re-braiding your hair while you played with the cat stuffy. When Mr. Park was done, you turned around, apology on your lips when Mr. Park said, “I’m sorry.”
You were shocked.
Sorry?
Why was he sorry?
You furrowed your brows. “I’m sorry.”
Mr. Park looked at you. “No, Y/N, don’t apologise. You were not in the wrong. I should have taken better care of you.”
Mr Park ran his hands through his hair, mussing them up.
“But I -”
Mr. Park suddenly lunged forward and pulled you to his body. “Please, please.” You didn’t know what he was asking for and therefore didn’t know what to do in this situation. “Please, Y/N, talk to me.”
Talk?
“Erm… What’s for dinner?”
A laugh bubbled out of his throat. “Not exactly what I meant but feel free to decide that for us while you’re at it. I’m not picky.”
Your cheeks burned a shade of deep red.
Mr. Park pulled back and held you by your shoulders. “Next time, when it gets too much, tell me. Talk to me. Tell me what you like, what you dislike, what you hate and love. Tell me what you would like to do in the future, tell me your worries and your fears. That’s what companionship is.” He sucked in a deep breath, stuttering. “I understand that it is difficult for you due to your past but I hope that one day, we can become close and you don’t have to bear so many things on your shoulders anymore. That you can share that with me. What’s mine is yours and what’s yours is mine. So, next time, tell me. Talk to me, alright?”
You nodded.
You understood what he was asking of you but you weren’t sure if you could provide him with that sense of confidentiality just yet. And you hoped that he would understand that you needed time. You hesitantly scooted closer to Mr. Park, arms going around his waist as you relished in the physical contact. Instead of pushing you away, Mr Park held you tighter, gently caressing your back. The both of you stayed in that position until you gained enough strength to stand.
Holding hands, the both of you left the quiet room. Once again, you were placed in the midst of noise. But this time, the gentle strokes on the back of your hand kept you grounded as you held the stuffy by its paw and let Mr Park guide you through. The both of you reached the collar section and immediately a lilac shade caught your attention. Your hands gravitated towards the collar and oh - it was the softest material that you have felt.
“Do you like that one?” Mr Park’s voice brought you out of your headspace as you quickly retracted your hand.
“Yes.” You responded meekly. Watching Mr. Park, he fumbled around with the collar you picked, brows furrowing.
“The material is kinda rough, would you like something else?”
But you liked the shade…
“Erm… Is - Is there one in the same… Colour?”
“Sure, we can ask!”
Sometimes you feel that Mr. Park is too chirpy.
Heading over to the counter that states ‘Customise collars here!’, Mr. Park asked for the lilac shade in different materials. The salesperson opened up a few different books on collars, tags, materials, shapes, and more. Mr. Park called you over and asked, “Which one do you prefer?”
You touched and observed the collars, picking the nylon material and a simple circle tag. Mr. Park was quick to provide the salesperson with all the information needed for engraving as well as a leather leash of the same colour. “We come back from collection in thirty minutes?” The salesperson nodded. “Okay, thank you.”
With the waiting time, Mr. Park pulled you aside and asked, “Would you like any toys? We can shop here for the time being and then go buy others late.”
You nodded.
The both of you made your way to the soaps section where you chose your preferred scent and Mr Park chose the brand that was less sensitive. Then, you picked out a few different beddings while Mr. Park picked out a few more stuffed animals. One was a white lamb with a scented patch, another was a keychain cat that also came with a scented patch, and the last was a bear which was well… just cause he thought it was cute. After collecting the collar and helping you wear it, ensuring that it was just the right fit, Mr Park clipped on the leash.

Seokjin led the both of you to the cashier and you were essentially hiding behind him the whole time. He knew you needed time and didn’t push you to communicate. As the both of you left the store, you instantly relaxed. Seokjin had decided that it would do you well if you picked out your own clothes so that you would be comfortable in what you wear. Bringing to the clothing store, you immediately picked out clothes you liked. You were beaming as you tried on each set for him to see and he was overjoyed to see you finally enjoying yourself. You deserved a treat and he knew just what you would like.
But it was safe to say that Seokjin found out about your style that day. The pants were what you preferred. Which, of course, he would never judge. But he wondered why you wouldn’t try on the dresses you look longingly at. As you changed back into your clothes, Seokjin walked over to a few dresses that he saw interested you. Picking out two, he placed them in the basket just as you popped out of the fitting room. Happily hopping over to him, you placed the clothes in the basket and the both of you headed over to the cashier.
Seeing you beaming with joy, Seokjin couldn’t help but melt. You just looked absolutely adorable.
He wished you would smile more like this.
Uncontained joy.
“Mr. Park, Mr. Park!” You called him over. He frowned. Real names would sound nicer on her lips. “Cakes! And ice creams!”
Hah. Exactly.
He knew it. Nobody could beat sweets.
“Want some?”
You nodded your head quickly.
Seokjin laughed. “Alright, let’s head in.”
You bounded into the restaurant only to be stopped by a waitress. You flinched back, soft body colliding with his.
“No hybrids.” The waitress’ monotone voice cut him out of his daze.
“Oh…” He saw your ears turn down, flattening against your head. “Could we just pay for a takeaway then?” Seokjin was proud of you. God, he sounded whipped. Maybe he was. Who cares?
You stood up for yourself and he couldn’t be happier.
“No. Hybrids are out-of-bounds.”
“But I’m not entering, I just -”
“Get out, mutt.” Another waiter pushed you. “Just leave.”
Seokjin took all his self-control to not scream at the waitresses, hand grabbing yours and gently tugging you out of the restaurant. He could see your eyes slowly fill with tears and he pulled you to a stop, turning you to him and wiping them away.
“Ice cream…” You sniffled.
“I know… I know…” Is this a side effect of the hormone regulation injection? Why does this feel like an equivalent to a female’s PSM symptoms? “I got another shop that I used to bring Jimin to. Shall we go there?”
“There’s ice cream too?” Your eyes looked so hopeful and for once, Seokjin was glad he didn’t come bearing bad news.
“Many, many flavours.”
Seokjin led you down a few levels and bought you a double scoop of ice cream in a cone. You were happily eating your ice cream away as he shopped for groceries. And as much as he didn’t like the idea of leading a very capable being around on a leash, he was kind of glad that he had one now. You were completely engrossed in your ice cream and there were so many times that he had to ensure you don’t bang into trollies. With the leash attached to the handle of his trolley, at least Seokjin doesn’t have to fear you going too far.
When you finished your deal of treats for the day, you headed back to his side, sticking to him while asking for more tissue. Digging into the carry-on he placed inside the trolley, Seokjin took out a packet and gave you a piece. Shopping for groceries is quick when one knows what they want.
During the ride home, Seokjin could see that you were exhausted. The sugar high had left you, leaving you sleepy. So Seokjin prepared you a bath as he cooked dinner. You were a fairly silent hybrid, Seokjin found out. You didn’t like making much noise - you didn’t like loud noises in the first place. But once twenty minutes passed and Seokjin didn’t hear anything from your room, he started to get worried. Leaving the soup simmering on the lowest setting of the stove, he walked up the stairs and called out.
No response.
He knocked on your door. Also no response.
By now, Seokjin was contemplating whether or not to call Taehyung. Maybe just in case something actually happened. Should he? Or should he just go in and check first?
But what if you didn’t know he was outside? What if you were naked? What if -
A loud thud and groan caused all questions to fly out of his brain as he barged into the room and harshly knocked on the bathroom door. “Y/N? Y/N, are you okay?” The only answer was a moan of pain.
Biting the lead, Seokjin opened the door and found you curled up over the rim of the bathtub, clutching your head. Freaking out, he immediately pulled out his phone to dial Taehyung. As his cell rang, your whine cut his attention off from the phone.
Seokjin shot over to you, cradling your head. “Hey, talk to me. Are you okay? What happened?”
You wouldn’t say much. You just bunched your brows and pinched your lips, groaning in pain.
“Hyung? I hope you’re not calling me to ask about sex positions or something.”
“Taehyung-ah, what do I do?”
“Huh? Hyung, what’s the context?”
“Y/N? Y/n,” Soekjin tried grasping your attention. “Can you tell TaeTae what’s wrong?”
“Hurts.”
“Okay, what hurts?” Taehyung asked.
“Hurts.”
“Hyung, what’s the situation?”
“Erm… Y/N is holding her head. Okay, okay. I was cooking dinner then she was too silent in the bathroom so I was getting worried and came checking on her when I heard a loud thud. And then I barged in and found her like this.”
“Like what?”
“Holding her head, leaning over the edge of the bathtub. I tried to ask her questions but all she’ll do is whine or groan. Not a very clear answer.”
The line was silent for a while.
“Is her heat coming?”
“Well, she got a hormone regulation shot yesterday - wait, how do you know?”
“Hyung,” Taehyung chided. “Nothing stays quiet in the group. You know that. Hobi Hyung came and said the little hamster was adorable.”
“Okay, well - yes, that makes sense. But - what do I do?” Seokjin was getting anxious. You wouldn’t stop whining.
“Yo, hyung.”
Seokjin’s head shot up, not expecting Taehyung to solidify right in front of him.
“I was on the way.” Taehyung stepped in between. “May I?”
Seokjin moved, making space for Taehyung to observe you. Gently touching your head and neck, he observed your pinched brows and soft emissions of whines.
“Hmm…” Taehyung hummed. “Nothing much. She probably hit her head. No concussion, just a few days of bruising. Ice it.”
Your groan caught Seokjin’s attention as Taehyung pressed against the particularly swollen bump. “Hurts…”
“Would you tell me what happened?” Seokjin coaxed.
“Fell asleep, slid down.”
“Yep… nothing much. Just be more careful next time yeah, little hamster?”
You whined.
Hurts indeed.
Hey everyone, I understand that some of you might be waiting for the next chapter of the KSJ: Tonight fic. It's currently under construction and in slow progress due to a hefty amount of exams piling up these few weeks.
I feel like it wouldn't be fair to have u guys waiting without posting a notice. So here is to tell you that I apologie and the fic will take longer (about a month-ish) to continue. I promise that it will not be left in the backend of the library as an unfinished fic :))
I hope you guys can be patient with me and my writing and in the meantime, check out my other works and keep giving love to the rest of our fellow writers! 💜💜 Thank you

Starting Position, "We call everything on ice, Love."

... I would say this is the final cause the blue was a meant to be thing but like... It makes it look like a draft work 😔😔 ughh-
I drew so many skates recently cause I got into studying the autonomy of figure skates. So there were a bunch of boots from different brands to rigidness and blades. So so so many blades. But it was fun, honestly. I wondered how I never got into learning the autonomy of a skate until so late into my career HAHAHAAA
Though, I still prefer traditional art and still (after so long) have not gotten used to the lack of scratchy feeling from pencil to paper 🫠
I think the Initials are wrong in chapter 1 of tonight
It says MYG instead of KSJ!!
Oh my gosh... I didn't even realize until you told me. Thank you!! 😭💜💜
