In this episode: Jin goes on his first date with Grace, who is actually a sweet person. However, during the date, he casually meets a friend who is more than capable of making him open his eyes. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Sweet date; some angst between friends (Yoongi, the psychiatrist who always cuts too deep when he speaks his mind). Meet Yoongi and his sweet and horny girlfriend, Spice. Lots of swearing, especially from Lara and Buttercup towards the end. Dirty thoughts, mentions of wet dreams, playful bickering and name calling between Buttercup and Lara. There are a couple very painful references to Severus Snape and Lily Potter (lowkey Harry Potter spoilers, just in case).

Apple Of My Pie (7) — Jin

A Small Town Swoons story

Chapter 7.

Pairing: Kim Seokjin x reader (nicknamed Buttercup)

Wordcount: 7.1k words

Genre: non-idol!AU, Baker/Café owner!Seokjin, University student!reader Flatmates!AU, Friends To Lovers, Fluff, slightest angst, smut

Rating: 18+ (NSFW content)

A/N: Hello my sweet poppies! Welcome to the Small Town Swoon Universe! For introductory information about the AU and more specifically Seokjin’s story, please read the second part of this post 🥰✨

In this episode: Jin and Buttercup finally reunite, and although the real world tries to interrupt their small idyll, Seokjin has the strength to finally impose his needs and confess his feelings. The evening proceeds in the best of ways.

As I mentioned before, this episode made me write things I didn’t know I had in me. Also, this will be the final episode for their storyline, however you will see more of Jin and Buttercup on future stories, mostly in small apparitions here and there. I might come back to this story someday, maybe with some drabbles or some small headcanons, however, I think that now it’s time to let Jin and Buttercup live their special moments with in their own privacy and make up for lost time.

TRIGGER WARNINGS: this is filthy. There’s swearing and light alcohol consumption (wine at dinner, both are pretty sober afterwards). Now, about the filth. Degradation kink, breast worship (involves kissing, licking, biting, grabbing), breast slapping, nipple pinching, one (1) spank, foodplay involving ice cream (so mild temperature play), dom!Seokjin, slightly bratty!reader, grinding, masturbation (both male and female receiving), brief mention of oral (male receiving), cumplay, cumeating, creampie, unprotected sex (please don’t do like them. The right way to go about this would be to use condoms and/or dental dams until you and your partner get the results of the test and are 110% sure you’re clean. If you have any questions, please head to Planned Parenthood’s website, they have wonderful webpages about safe, sane and consensual sex, plus anything you need to keep your sexual health in check. If you can’t check their website, please feel welcome to reach out to me through DMs, I’ll try to help 🥰💜). Also reader is kind of excited about Seokjin being circumcised? And these two have a latent impregnation kink that will show up someday. There are slightly angst discussion about past partners and feelings, but nothing extreme.

Remember to vote for next prompt (check the link in my bio) and in case you need it, here’s my masterlist 💜

Different Sides - Kim Seokjin

Different Sides - Kim Seokjin

Synopsis: To Seokjin, the world was his to claim. He could care less about the differences that were meant to keep people separated or the physical miles that made the distance. Especially when it comes to you, he was ready to give your relationship his all.

Pairing: Kim Seokjin x reader

Genre: Fluffffff, strangers to lovers high-key missing Seokjin hours 💜

Word Count: 2.5k

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Kim Seokjin has always been curious about the world around him. He believed everywhere told a story. And instead of reading about it, he wanted to just experience it for himself.

While Jin was exploring the world outside of Korea, he knew that he always had to find Korean food wherever he goes. Whether it was at a restaurant or finding ingredients at home, he was determined to get a little piece of home wherever he goes. On this particular trip, he wondered into an Asian grocery store. He never knew places like this existed, but he was overjoyed.

That afternoon, you found yourself venturing to the Asian grocery store. You were inspired by a video you saw online of a person making a stew, which you figured would be perfect for a cold, rainy night.

With a list of ingredients typed onto your phone, you began to stroll through the aisles for everything you needed. You were pretty confident looking through the produce aisles. Potatoes, onions, green chili. Where you struggled is one you got to the spices.

You frequently glanced between the English typed on your phone with the Hangul on the printed labels. Maybe you could just grab what looked like it was used in the video? But the problem was also that many of the ingredients looked alike. Your eyes glanced around you to see if an employee could help you but there was no one in sight.

Jin was around though. He wanted to make naengmyeon, a craving he had since he landed in the United States. He was able to pick up most of the ingredients pretty easily, but he was having a hard time locating the actual noodle packets for it.

That's when he spotted you. You were staring up at the expansive shelves of spices, eyes bouncing around. He took note of the freckles that decorates your cheeks and the few moles that kissed your jawline. Your eyebrows were slightly scrunched which he found adorable.

Slowly, as to not startle you, he made his way over to you. His packet of ingredients rested on his forearm.

"You seem like you might need some help? May I?"

Jin silently thanked his parents and the universe for allowing him to study abroad when he was in his youth. He had gotten pretty good at being able to read English. He was just trying to work on speaking it without additional assistance, especially since he was traveling on his own. You looked up, relief washing over your face. Jin was mesmerized by the color of your eyes. He couldn't quite describing them but he found them enchanting. They were such a unique color, almost as if it was a color made just for you. He noticed your eyebrows relaxed as you eased down from your tiptoes.

"Please? I thought I was doing a good job at writing all the ingredients down, but I forgot about the part of the bottles being in a different language."

He chuckled lightly at you. Not because he was amused by your struggle, but he just found your adorable. He also loved that you thought you had to justify yourself to him, but there was no need. It was fate by the universe for you two to cross paths like this.

Jin held out his free hand, motioning for your phone. He gladly took your device and began to scroll through. He was able to easily pick up the exact spices you needed. It also worked out in his favor seeing as he could easily reach them from his height. With ease, he grabbed the remaining spices you needed before setting them down in your basket. "You know, there is one thing you're missing from your list." To your surprise, you raised an eyebrow. You figured that this stranger must know what they are talking about. Just eyeing his own basket, he seemed to know his way around the kitchen, so surely he could put two and two together to figure out what you were making. "What am I missing? Is there a secret ingredient to make it better?" You laughed. "Yeah, you're missing my number. Every good meal needs good company."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You weren't the type of person to invite someone over spontaneously, let alone someone you just met a few hours ago. Yet, there was something about Jin that was different. After the interaction at the grocery store, you craved being around him.

Your eyes bounced around your studio apartment. You wanted to make sure everything was set up appropriately. Was it too casual? You had floor lamps on rather than the harsh overhead light in the main part of the room. There also were three candles of different heights lit on your kitchen table. Was it too romantic?

All the ingredients were laid out on the kitchen island, ready to be prepared. Jin insisted that you two cook together. "I just want to make sure you do it correctly," he teased you in the grocery store. If it meant that you could to spend time with him, you weren't complaining.

Knock knock knock

"Shit," you murmured underneath your breath. You didn't get the chance to second-guess yourself. Your heart pounding almost to the same beat at Jin knocking on the door. How could a stranger make you so nervous so easily?

"Coming! Just give me a second," you called out. You walked over towards the front of your apartment while your hands got busy at smoothing out your clothes. You wore a pair of ripped jeans and a grey sweatshirt with the hands rolled up to the elbows since you two were cooking. You had your hair half pulled back by a claw clip, showing off the gold earrings you might've stolen from your sibling.

Before you answered the door, you looked at your reflection in the mirror. You made sure your makeup, while light, was not smudged. You gave yourself a quick smile, wanting to make sure you had nothing stuck in your teeth. Your hands were trembling with excitement.

Satisfied with your appearance, you walked fully to the door. You unlocked the top lock before opening it up. You gasped softly to be presented first with a bouquet of flowers, Jin smiling sheepishly.

"Really hope you're not allergic," he joked. You giggled before shaking your head, gladly taking the flowers into your arms. "Not trying to take this date to the hospital."

"I'm sure you could even make a trip to the hospital fun," you teased. You stepped aside to allow Jin into your apartment. He smiled as he crossed the threshold, watching as he shrugged off the jacket he was wearing. Holy fuck. His back and shoulder muscles are impressive.

Seokjin could feel his eyes on him, causing him to smirk. He glanced over at you from over his shoulder. "Like what you see?" As if to make things worse, he rolled his sleeves up to his elbows now that jacket has been discarded. You just couldn't take your eyes off of him, and he knew that.

Your cheeks quickly gained a red hue. You wanted to apologize, not wanting to be rude. However, hearing his laughter as he proceeded to head towards your kitchen gave you some relief. While at the same time, your stomach was warm and fuzzy from hearing him. He really was something.

"Are you coming, sweet girl? Every great chef needs their sous-chef."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Making dinner quickly became the thing you two did. Whether it was for one another or together, the two of you were always in the kitchen. It was your favorite way of showing your love to someone. Jin was just content to be wherever you were.

That day in the grocery store turned into your first date of many. Throughout Jin's visit to America, he made frequent visits to your apartment with bags filled with groceries. Your apartment became filled with delicious smells, infectious laughter, and the sound of you two making out.

You couldn't believe how quickly things have escalated between the two of you. Yet, it felt like you two have known each other this whole time. He understood you in ways nobody else has even tried to comprehend before. And you were so curious about him - from his wit to his kind heart.

The months of Jin's stay were quickly dwindling down to a few weeks. And now, there were only a few days.

Everyone said the two of you would never work out. Your friends were concerned that the distance would be too much for you two to endure. Your parents were not the biggest fans of him considering they only had met him once.

Yet, their voices were all white noise to you. The only person that mattered when it came to your relationship was Kim Seokjin. Every day, he made it his mission to make it known how committed he was to you. He knew long distance relationships could be a source of anxiety, especially when it comes to unknowns.

There was nothing more that he was certain about than how he feels about you. The two of you met when Seokjin was on a solo trip. Since studying abroad in his youth, he was fascinated with the world around him. That is why he was so inspired to take up English, so he could be more connected with the world.

At the moment, you were both lying on your couch. Jin's back was against the arm of the couch, so you could rest comfortably against his back. One of his arms was wrapped around your body, keeping you close. Your other hand was playing with his free hand. You were comparing your hand sizes, seeing as he was much larger than your own. You would spread your fingers and he would mimick, adding to your amusement. In reality, it was serving as a distraction from what you really wanted to do.

"Alright, I've known you for about two months now. Something is going on in that pretty little head of yours,'' Jin commented.

He lifted his head off of your chin, so he could look at you properly. You often got quiet when you had something on your mind, something that you were going back and forth about confessing. Your eyebrows would furrow the slightest bit. You always thought you were slick about it, but he could see right through you.

"Come on, talk to me."

Jin offered a gentle smile. He was ready to listen to whatever was troubling your mind. You felt so comfortable around him.

"What are we doing, Jin?"

He furrowed his eyebrows, tilting his head in confusion. "Right now, we're laying on your couch. We might cook, or if you want to just order in, you can show me your favorite restaurant. I won't get jealous because know I'm your favorite chef though," he smirked.

Normally, his humor helped lift the mood but not this time. Not when there were so many scenarios playing out in your mind at this exact moment.

"No, I mean, what are we doing? What is this between us?"

Jin sat up a bit straighter, but he didn't loosen his hold on you. His smirk did disappear though and furrowed eyebrows. He was providing all the space possible to allow you to elaborate.

Sure, he's thought about it. He was also curious as to what you two were heading toward, or what you could call yourselves. He's never felt a connection as intensely as whatever it is you two had. But he was aware that time was no longer on their side, and it was time to explore what life was outside of the bubble you two created.

If only he could freeze time before it all burst.

"Y/n, angel, I'm not sure."

You frowned at his words, trying your best not to fall apart in front of him. It could have just been a summer romance to him, nothing more and nothing less. You couldn't help but get your hopes up though.

"We have something special," he reaffirmed. "And I know that things are going to be different once I head back to Korea. I guess I'm not sure where things are heading because everyone has tried telling us that it's not going to work between you and I. But I want to prove them wrong." "So why don't we? Why don't we give it a try? Who says that it has to end the moment we say goodbye at the airport?" "What if instead of 'goodbye', we just say 'see you later'?" He offered.

If there was one thing about Kim Seokjin, he was a determined man. Whatever he wanted, he practically got.

However, Jin was skilled at making sure you never felt pressured to say yes to him. He was just happy to be in the same room as you. But, little did he know, it was so easy to say yes to him. You'd say a million times as long as it brought that charming smile of his.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two years later

"I don't thnk anyone in this room would have thought we'd be here today," your best friend spoke into the microphone.

You couldn't help but groan a bit in embarrassment, turning your head to hide in Jin's shoulder. His laughter rumbled from his chest, vibrating throughout you which made your heart flutter with excitement. He had such an effect over you.

His lips gently pressed to your head, an arm around your petite body. He couldn't help himself but run his finger over the white lace that covered your body. He just loved the feeling of the material underneath his fingertips.

What he loved more was the fact it was you sitting beside you. You wore a gorgeous white dress that looked custom-made for him. Truthfully, you could have walked down the aisle in a sack and he'd still be mesmerized by you.

"Seriously though. Their love story is one that you read about in romance novels, the ones where everything good happens. But they proved that impossible can be possible."

You lifted your head off of Jin's shoulder to look up at him. Every struggle was worth it knowing he was yours forever and always. After trying to battle canceled flights, time differences, and missed calls - you two made it. You defied the odds to get to this moment where you two are officially Mr. and Mrs. Kim Seokjin.

"I love you, Mrs. Kim,' he whispered. "And I love you, my handsome Mr. Kim," you giggled.

He grinned wide before pressing his lips to yours lingeringly. You lost count of how many times he kissed you tonight, but he just couldn't get enough of the feeling of it. The way your lips felt against his, how soft they were - how each kiss felt like the first kiss.

He was devoted to you and you were devoted him. Now, you just proved everyone wrong with what you two knew this whole time.

There was nobody else for you but Kim Seokjin.

Sweetest Devotion

summary: In which Kim Seokjin falls for a long time friend genre: fluff, idol!au W/C: 1,622 A/N: I don't know I was feeling fluffy for Seokjin all day so here's this

Sweetest Devotion

This is a problem.

Seokjin, certified World Wide Handsome and member of the biggest band on the entire planet, has determined that he likes you way more than he should.

You joined BigHit in 2017 (shortly after your 18th birthday) as a stylist and certified annoying little sister to the Bangtan members. Seokjin has always patted your head, scolded you when you teased another member too hard, and gave you advice on various life changing events taking place in your early 20s.

Yet here you are, age 22 and incredibly gorgeous. Dressed in sweats and a T-Shirt far too big for your body, you're sat in the living room of Seokjin's suave house, and Seokjin is struggling to keep his mind trained on the conversation.

When you called earlier, asking if he could be an ear to listen to, Seokjin immediately invited you over. Listening to you rant and rave about things isn't new, he usually opens a bottle of wine and turns on a good movie to play in the background while you talk. He enjoys having you over, hearing you giggle, helping you when you're sad... In fact, the thought of someone else being your shoulder to cry on has made him increasingly jealous as time goes on.

Before, you were just the fresh faced stylist ready to take on the world. Now, you're one of Seokjin's best friends. A woman who fits in his arms incredibly well, who's interests and intelligence hooked him the moment he got to know you. You're you, and he loves that.

"I don't know," you continue, drawing Seokjin back to the conversation, "I just feel like sometimes I'm more fetishized than actually liked. Like, yeah, bigger women do find happy relationships but I seem to only draw in creeps who get off because I'm considered 'thick' or whatever they call it these days."

Seokjin swallows. He's never even thought about the differences between a thinner woman and a thicker woman in dating. He has never had a preference, he's been with many body types and has always found you attractive. Sure, as you got older you developed more curves, and Seokjin noticed the way the back up dancers would eye you sometimes, but he didn't think that made you look like more of an object to men and less like a person.

"Well," Seokjin pulls himself off of his sofa and sits beside you on the faux fur carpet, "I think you're gorgeous, Miss _____."

"Yeah, yeah," you wave him off, causing a twinge of hurt to cross his chest, but he hides it as well as he can, "I'm gorgeous and deserve someone who loves me for me... blah blah blah. I've heard the rant from you before, and Yoongi, and Namjoon," you trail off for a moment, your eyes trained on the carpet in front of you. Seokjin raises an eyebrow, patiently waiting for you to continue.

"...anyway, I don't know how to get people to see beyond the curves. Like, sure I'm sexy," Seokjin has to hold back his words of agreement because this is definitely not the time to confess his attraction towards you, "but god damn it I want someone who likes to lay on the couch and watch movies all night. Someone who's ass I can kick in video games, someone who doesn't mind me when I just want a kiss on the cheek. But no, it's all about sex."

Seokjin smiles sadly, his mind reeling. He wants to be that person for you.

Holy shit.

HE WANTS TO BE THAT PERSON FOR YOU.

Wrapping an arm around your waist. His hand travels down your thigh until it reaches your knee, his long fingers drawing soft circles.

Gaining confidence he had never had before, he leans forward and presses a small, gentle kiss to your cheek.

Your face heats almost immediately, your head turning to lock eye's with Seokjin. A soft giggle falls from your mouth, "What was that for?"

"You said you wanted a kiss on the cheek." Seokjin shrugs, looking away with a smirk. He can feel his ears heating up, his heart beat thudding. This is insane. He's known you for years yet for the first time in his life he feels like his chest could burst, simply from the way your smile looks while looking at him. Oh, who is he kidding. This isn't the first night he's realized he likes you. His dreamed about holding you in his arms, stroking his thumb across your knuckles while you tell him another one of your ridiculous stories.

Slowly, you move to rest your head on his shoulder, "Thank you for always being there for me."

Please, he thinks, please don't write me off as just being there for you. Please catch the signs, for the love of god.

"I don't know what I'd do without you," your voice is soft, your breath fanning over his neck. He feels a small sense of pride, but it's diminished as you continue, "and everyone else. You all have become my family. You're going to make your future wife immensely happy."

Fucking hell.

"I have to pee."

Seokjin moves you off, rather rushed. He hears you hit the floor with a small 'oof!' but he doesn't turn back around to look at you. Instead, his feet carry him down the hall and into his bathroom, where he struggles to control his breathing. He doesn't want to cry, but he's not sure what he wants to do. For the first time, he showed you his interest and you wrote him off. You will always see him as the male friend figure who gives advice and ruffles your hair. Partly that was his fault, he guesses, because he pushed that stereotype harshly in an attempt to hide his interest in you.

At the same time, he feels he couldn't have been more obvious.

A few moments pass and a knock is sounded at the door, "That's an awful quiet pee, sir."

Seokjin cocks his head to the side and chuckles. He can't help it when it's you.

"I've mastered the Ninja Pee." he calls out, turning on the water and splashing his face.

He opens the door and looks down to meet your eyes. They're wide, your eyebrows raised in question, "Now tell me what that was really about."

"I told you," he fakes a smile, "Ninja Pee."

"Seokjin."

He rolls his eyes, "Sometimes I feel like you don't open your eyes to what's right in front of you."

"What the fuck does that even mean?" your words are accusatory but your tone is curious.

"_____," he breathes, "I literally just gave you what you wanted. I practically laid out a steak for a fucking bear and the bear sniffed it and walked towards a cucumber."

"Maybe the bear is a vegetarian."

"I swear to god-"

"Okay, okay!" you cut him off, pushing his shoulder, "I don't know what you want me to say, I thought you were just going along with the story."

His mouth goes in a pin straight line, and he points to you, "Bear," he points to himself, "Steak," he gestures wildly around the hallway, "Cucumber?!"

"What are you saying, Seokjin?! Use your words, man!"

"Ah!" he yells, "Let me be the one to kiss your cheek!"

Suddenly, you're calm. Your smile turns devilish, and your eyes darken slightly, "Thank you, that's what I wanted."

You turn on your heel, skipping down the hallway and back towards the living room. Seokjin stands in the doorway of the bathroom, slightly dumbfounded. His jaw has fallen agape and he stares at the framed picture on the wall of him and his band mates receiving their first MAMA award.

Without closing his mouth, he walks to the living room, "What the fuck was that?"

"Well I was waiting for you to just spit the words out but you had to pull a Namjoon and get all metaphorical with it," you're scrolling through Netflix now, "as if I didn't know you had a thing for me."

Seokjin tilts his head, "You were playing me?"

"Mhm," you hum, "hardcore, too. You should have seen your face when I didn't immediately fall into your little trap. Nah, if you're gonna date me I'm going to have to make you work for it a little harder."

"You little shit." Seokjin realizes how he should have caught on sooner. He thinks back to the way your breathing changed with his after the contact on your knee, how you blushed after the kiss.

Rolling your eyes, you through the blanket off of your legs and tap the spot beside you, "Get your ass over here and cuddle."

Seokjin rushes over to you, tackling you so your back is flat on the couch, his lips attacking your face. He kisses your cheeks, your forehead, the tip of your nose, and he pauses.

Your giggling seizes, eyeing Seokjin's lips, "I'd like to taste my steak now."

He laughs, before leaning down and pressing a hard kiss to your lips. Your hands fly to the back of his neck, holding him as closely to you as possible. He doesn't taste of steak, as much as the thought makes you laugh. No, he tastes of white wine laced with sweet fruit, his tongue cool against yours but it sends a comforting chill down your spine.

When he pulls away, his lips are bright red and slightly swollen. You gnaw at your bottom lip, reaching up to push a stray hair from his face.

"I'm not letting you win at Mario Kart." He speaks, unable to contain the smile on his face.

Your eyes turn to slits, "We'll see about that, Kim Seokjin."

She's All I Wanna Be | Kim Seokjin

a/n: This is the first part of the Bring On The Night series, it will be divided into two chapters and an epilogue and will be approximately 15k in total. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed it ^^. All dividers are from @saradika-graphics she's the best doing dividers 🥹. Summary: You were Jin's childhood friend, the one who always went to all his bass practices, the one who went to all his mini concerts, the one who tested the songs before he played them live, you were even the first person he ran to tell the news that his band had been dominated to his first award. The problem with this? You were always just that to Jin, the typical childhood friend he wouldn't give up for anything in the world, but would never see as anything more. A few months ago Jin started dating yet another girl, a certain Yeji, whom he had met in college. You were starting to feel how awful it was to be just another friend, and you wanted to give it your last try before giving up forever with Jin and moving on with your life. wc: 5.4k Taglist: @thunderg @minjianhyung @queenv1997 @yoongtism @lizzymizzy-blogg @superbbananananana @drpepperobsessed @themwordsblog @taekritimin123

She's All I Wanna Be | Kim Seokjin

"What did you say?" you muttered with your eyes fixed on Jin and the blonde girl next to him. You were so surprised that you weren't even sure you heard her name when she introduced herself a few seconds ago.

"I told you she's my girlfriend, Yeji" Jin turned to look at the girl next to him, smiling in such a sweet and loving way that probably made his girlfriend feel like she was in heaven itself. You, on the other hand, felt like you were in hell itself, you could even feel the flames burning your skin at that moment.

"Your... girlfriend" you looked 'Yeji' up and down, mostly because you still couldn't digest the news. To your bad luck, the girl was stupidly beautiful, on a level that even you didn't know it was possible to be, and you had spent more than twenty years together with Jin.

Yeji was barely one meter sixty, she was thin, but not excessively so, she had small and extremely soft hands, not to mention her face. It was round and pale, her cheeks had a light pink tone and matched her skin perfectly; her eyes were big and brown, her nose was thin and upturned, and her lips were pink and fluffy, just like Jin and Jimin's. Shit, even you would have noticed her if you liked girls, she looked like a fucking angel.

"It's a pleasure, Y/N" Yeji offered you her hand, giving you a smile just like the commercials on TV. You were curious to know if she did commercials or something like that, she had every chance of winning in that market, you had no doubt. "I was so looking forward to meeting you, Jin has told me so many things about you."

You almost cringed in place as you heard her laugh. It should be illegal to look good even laughing, this wasn't fair anymore.

"I'd like to say the same, but I've never heard of you before, Jin seemed pretty determined to hide your relationship" you took her hand and shook it carefully. Her whole appearance looked like it was going to break just by touching it roughly. "I hope from now on that will change".

"I wish it would" she nodded smiling, taking Jin's hand on the table. Your heart stopped for a second as you watched Jin intertwine his fingers with hers. Her cheeks turned a slightly darker shade of pink than the one she already had before and, for the first time in your whole life, you wished you were in that girl's place.

In the past things weren't like that, in the past Jin never looked at his girlfriends the way he was looking at Yeji right now, damn, he didn't even bother to hide his past relationships with you, he even told you in a very detailed way how those girls had proposed to him, so why? Why is it different? Why her? What did she have that you didn't?

Well, to be honest, she was quite pretty, she had a very beautiful voice and, so far, she seemed to be a pretty sweet girl. Just Jin's type.

"Surely it will be" you tried to give them your best smile as you grabbed your cup of coffee and drank it in one gulp. You wished it was alcohol. "Jin seems to be serious this time" you said quietly, putting the cup aside and turning your gaze to Jin. His was fixed on Yeji.

"I'm trying to do that" he nodded quickly, leaving a kiss on his girlfriend's knuckles. It hurt you to think about that word, it hurt you that it wasn't you to say it to. Were you a bad friend for thinking that way? "It was for that very reason that I made the first move."

"He proposed first?" you almost lost control of your emotions when you saw them share a glance and nod with those lovesick idiot smiles you had always envied. You had to take a big breath of air to keep from bursting into tears right then and there. You felt so stupid at that moment, so selfish.

"Yup, I was so excited that I almost cried in front of him, it was so embarrassing" Yeji smiled at you, taking your hand in hers. You watched as Jin's hand fell on the table, but he didn't seem to mind. "You don't know how nervous I was to finally meet you, I know this is something special for Jin, he talks about you like you're the most amazing woman ever," you heard her laugh at Jin's complaint at her statement that he apparently didn't want you to know, "being able to meet you in person is... it's something I actually thought would never happen."

"Hey, you talk about me like I'm, I don't know, an amazing person, I'm just his friend" you looked at his hands over yours. They looked so small unlike yours.

"You're his best friend, one of the most important people to him" she looked at Jin for a second, smiling at him, "surely you must be overprotective of him, right?" she let out a shaky sigh and her hands squeezed yours gently, "I promise I will never hurt him, I... I will try to do my best in this relationship, to make Jin as happy as I can."

Fuck.

You couldn't even hate her.

She's All I Wanna Be | Kim Seokjin

It's so unfair" you whined out loud, resting your head on Chaeyoung's shoulder, "She's too nice, how am I supposed to hate her if she behaves that way?"

"Don't hate her. Simple" Sooah took a drink from her glass with soju. Her eyes were fixed on her phone, she seemed to be quite busy trying to contact a photographer or director, you weren't sure, you couldn't read the name right from here.

"You don't need to hate her, just wait until Jin stops having interest in her" Chaeyoung smiled at you with her cheeks puffed out. You were almost sure she stuffed half a chicken in her mouth. It's not like you were surprised anyway, she seriously seemed to have a bottomless stomach, "You know how it is, it never lasts more than three months."

"Two" Sooah clarified almost instantly. She picked up her chopsticks and took some kimchi. "He always lasts at most two months with his girlfriends."

"You guys don't get it, this time it's... he seriously seems to want something lasting with her" you let out a sigh, looking at the bottle of soju in front of you. You loved Jin, but before being the man of your dreams (literally) he was your best friend, you were supposed to be happy for him, he looked happy with her, that should be enough for you. "Maybe I should just, I don't know, let it go."

You jumped out of your chair as you heard Chaeyoung gasp at the top of her lungs. You turned to see her only to realize that she was looking at you with the most exaggerated grimace of horror you'd ever seen in your entire life. If you hadn't been so depressed you most likely would have laughed at her face.

"Did you just say you're going to let him go? After spending over twenty years dropping hints and flirting with him in a super lame way?" she rested her hand on your shoulder, shaking her head as fast as her body would allow, "That's not the Y/N I know."

"Well, this Y/N wants to give up and-".

"I agree with Chaeyoung,'' this time it was Sooah who got all the stares. She had never, ever, agreed with Chaeyoung on anything, so it was to be expected that you were so surprised. She put her cell phone aside for the first time all night, resting her gaze on you.

Your whole body froze in place as you felt her gaze so penetrating on you. She was seriously scary.

"You spent two decades of your life trying to convince Jin to date you, not directly, but it's still a shot," she crossed her arms on the table, leaning towards you, "Don't make those one hundred and seventy-five thousand and two hundred plus hours be in vain."

"Did you just calculate how many hours there are in twenty years?" Chaeyoung pulled out his phone, typing something on the screen.

"Make that time worth it, you came into his life first, prove that you can make him happier than any other girl."

"Shit, she's right, how did you calculate that so fast?".

You completely ignored Chaeyoung's comment, trying to focus on what Sooah had just told you. Although a part of you felt that she was right and that you should still fight for Jin, the other part of you refused to participate in this stupidity. Jin looked so in love with this girl, how could you come and ruin his happiness? You couldn't be this selfish, not with him.

And, almost as if she was reading your mind, Sooah added, "I know you might be feeling selfish right now, but let's be honest, you've always thought of Jin's happiness over your own, it's time for you to put your feelings first."

"Think of it this way" Chaeyoung smiled at you, gently patting your back, "Whatever you do, it will have an impact on your relationship with Jin; if you let him go with this relationship you will end up walking away from him because of how painful it is to see him with another girl, if you confess to him at this point he might reject you and he be the one to walk away from you, or...".

"He might agree to be with you" Sooah finished, nodding slowly.

"I don't know" you mumbled crestfallen, looking at the thin bracelet on your wrist. Jin had bought it for you with his first paycheck.

"How about this?" clapped Chaeyoung loudly. She moved her chair until you were facing each other, all only to take your cheeks between her hands and crush them to her liking. "Why don't you try to see if what he's feeling is serious? Like, I don't know, find out if she seriously wants Yeji or, on the other hand, has feelings for you and is still in denial."

"That's a good idea." added Sooah.

"And how do I do that?" you looked at both of them, starting to feel that, maybe, their idea wasn't such a bad one.

"Let's start with the basics" Chaeyoung pulled out her phone showing you a list of titles 'places you can take your date' "Try to see how they are as a couple and, while doing that, try to see how people see the three of you."

"What do you mean?" you frowned slightly, reading the list he had just passed you.

"Yes or yes they will think that one of you three is the friend of both of you, or one in this case, if you see that many think that you and Jin are a couple, then it's because people can see something between you."

"And if most think Jin and Yeji are a couple it's because they both have chemistry" you nodded, trying to process your friend's idea.

Did it seem stupid to you? Totally, but you also knew that you didn't have much to lose, just like they said before, no matter how the situation went, you and Jin would end up drifting apart. Besides, you weren't going to do anything to Yeji either, just... you were going to act like you always did with Jin, you would try to see the outside opinion to guide you a little bit. That's just it, you thought, after all, what's the worst that could happen?

She's All I Wanna Be | Kim Seokjin

It took you three days to convince yourself that this would be a good idea, that you weren't doing anything wrong, it would just be an outing between the three of you, you weren't going to overstep the limit of your friendship, you would just try to check how the rest of the world saw things, you wanted to prove that you weren't the only one who felt some chemistry between the two of you.

That's how you ended up in an amusement park at eleven fucking o'clock at night, listening to Jin and Yeji talking about how they should go ride the Ferris wheel for the third time. You had given up on that idea after sharing a booth with them the first time. You didn't think you could stand another fifteen minutes in the same place with those two kissing in front of you. Was this your karma?

"Y/N? Aren't you coming?" Yeji turned around, looking at you with a big smile. You wanted to return it, but your face didn't seem to want to follow your brain's orders.

"Sorry, I'm a little dizzy, I guess the roller coaster left me a little, you know, groggy" you bowed your head a little by way of apology, "you guys go ahead, I'll wait for you on some bench around here."

And off you went, looking for some store that had something meatless. A few years ago, when you and Jin were still in your early twenties, you went to a food truck park, your goals? Eat one thing from each truck. You made it, but you both ended up sick to your stomachs, throwing up for almost a week and unable to eat anything but soup or chicken and rice. Neither has eaten food from those trucks since, it scared you too much to ever do it again. Still, for some strange reason, the memory of that moment made you smile and prompted you to buy some snacks that were light.

After you had walked around a few times, you decided on the store that sold corn dogs that were too big to be real. You almost cried with happiness when you saw that yours was the same size as the sample. You pulled out your wallet and extended the money to whoever was supposed to be acting as cashier.

"Thank you so much for your purchase" the guy smiled sweetly at you, barely touching your hand with his fingertips as he handed you the change. You were a little surprised, but you let it go, those frictions always happened when you paid for something, didn't they?

"Thanks to you" you smiled back, giving him a slight bow as you walked towards one of the benches that were near the Ferris wheel. It was still five minutes before Jin and Yeji got off. This was a lot more boring than you thought it would be.

You took a seat and leaned your back against the cool green wood of the bench. The stars looked pretty good tonight, you would have liked to go to a gazebo with Jin like in the old days, or just lay on his balcony next to him and try to form shapes with the glowing dots that rested above your heads. You missed spending time with Jin, even if it was just being her friend.

"Excuse me."

You straightened up in your chair, seeing the corn dog boy standing in front of you, breathing as if he had just run a marathon. Had you forgotten something? You were sure you paid the proper amount, he even gave you change, or maybe he had given it to you wrong? Yes, it definitely had to be that. You pulled out your wallet, ready to return the money you thought you owed him.

"I've been looking all over for you," he mumbled between gasps, pulling a crumpled sheet of paper out of your apron pocket, "I-I know this may not be the best way to do it, but...could I give you my number?".

You almost dropped your wallet in surprise. You looked at the crumpled paper in his hand, just noticing that it had some numbers jotted messily in half-worn blue ink. You couldn't help but smile. You could tell the boy was younger than you and, honestly, you found his way of exchanging numbers too cute. There was never a boy who asked for your number, unless it was for a job of course.

"You came running up to me on your break just to give me your number?" you laughed under your breath as you watched his ears tinge a pretty shade of pastel pink. It reminded you of the time you accidentally ended up watching Jin make out with another girl. It broke you up inside, but you'd be lying if you didn't say that Jin looked so funny trying to explain why you couldn't tell anyone about it.

"I actually ran away from my post so I could come" he cleared his throat, avoiding looking at your face. You noticed how the hand extending the paper trembled slightly in front of you.

"Y/N?" Jin walked towards you, carrying some sort of deformed frog in one hand and a green balloon in the other. "Who is he?"

"Good question," you looked at the boy, smiling sweetly at him in an attempt to make him feel less nervous, "What's your name? You didn't tell me before."

"I'm Ingyu" he bowed rather exaggeratedly, looking back at you once he was straight, "Jung Ingyu, it's a pleasure to meet you, sorry for introducing myself so late".

"Don't apologize" you laughed, getting up from the bench so you could grab his shoulder, "I appreciate the offer, but I'm sure you're much younger than me."

"I don't think so" he quickly denied, taking your hand between his too gently to pull away. The boy himself was too sweet to refuse. Probably your younger self would have said yes right away.

"She's thirty years old, kid," Jin said for you, patting his hands to let yours go. "And just so you know, she prefers men older than her."

You frowned, turning to Jin. Was that your idea or...?

"Is he your boyfriend?" asked Ingyu, looking between the two of you with a face red with embarrassment, "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't know... if I had known before that she had a partner I would never have approached, I promise."

"He and I didn't-".

"It’s okay, I get it, my girl is really cute, but, you know, she's mine, so" you watched as he waved his hand at him, indicating for him to leave. The poor guy almost tripped over a cotton candy stand trying to run away from the situation. You felt like you were nothing away from doing the same.

"Your girl?" you looked at Jin, raising your eyebrows. You weren't going to let him see how much his comment had affected your poor, sensitive heart. You couldn't do that, he wasn't alone.

"Yes, you're my friend, therefore, my girl, isn't it obvious?" he rolled his eyes, walking towards the girls' bathroom, still not releasing your shoulders from his embrace.

"It didn't sound like that at all" you mumbled, looking at the floor beneath your feet. Could you feel this way even though you knew his girlfriend was in the bathroom in front of you?

"I didn't mean it that way" he let go of your shoulders, shoving his hands in his pockets, "You know that, don't you? We're friends, best friends, hanging out with each other would be... crazy, stupid."

Yeah, well, you didn't want him to notice the fact that he just crushed all your hopes for him either. Did he say that on purpose? Because it really felt that way.

"Yeah, crazy, right?" you sighed, looking up at the sky. You wanted it to be like in the movies, that some comet would pass through the sky above you and so you could ask it wholeheartedly to be able to own Jin's heart, that star would hear your wish and give you a k-drama story where, in the end, both of you would end up as a beautiful couple by the altar. Your rational self laughed at that stupid thought.

"Can you imagine, you and me together?" Jin chuckled, hugging you from behind and resting his head on top of yours, "Ugh, that would be horrible, I don't think I could be with someone who knows my biggest secret."

"Which one? That in which you pee in your bed until you were ten?" you looked at Jin, trying to sound as natural as possible. You always acted this way with each other, it had to come naturally to you, you had no other choice, you weren't ready to let your best friend go yet. At least not at this moment.

"No, and don't say that in public" he pinched your waist playfully, his smile became a little softer, "How am I supposed to date the person who knows I'm actually a thousand plus year old vampire? That's ridiculous."

This time your laugh is genuine, but not because his attempt to make you laugh worked, but because you knew the context of what he said well.

When you and Jin were still in college he was with a girl. She was... special. She liked all this occult stuff, cults, horrible and fantastic creatures like werewolves, chupacabras, yetis and, of course, vampires. For some reason that neither you nor Jin understood very well, that girl came to the conclusion that Jin was an original vampire, one that was more than a thousand years old and, according to her words, the same one that would give her the bite that would finally turn her into a vampire. You don't remember very well the speech she had said, but you do remember how you had to run to Jin's apartment to help him because the girl had tried to cut her hand and give Jin some of her blood. At the time it was a lousy experience, but today it was another topic you remembered with laughter.

"You're right, we can't allow that, Jinnie, my best vampire friend of over a thousand years."

"Who's a vampire?" muttered Yeji as she approached you both with a towel in her hands.

Jin let go of you almost instantly, walking over to his girlfriend so he could grab her by the waist and continue on his way.

Again you felt a strong pressure in your chest, something that was starting to become very common these last days and that, no matter how hard you tried, you couldn't avoid unless you got away from both of them. Obviously they would notice if you did, so you decided to endure the pain until the end. You would do it for Jin, for your friend.

"It's a long story, it would bore you" He left a soft kiss on her forehead, caressing her waist on the pad of your thumb.

You envied her so much.

"Oh, okay" she nodded quickly, turning to look at you, "are you feeling better? When we were on the Ferris wheel we could see a pharmacy down the street from here, do you want us to stop by there to buy something for your dizzy spells?".

Why did she have to be so nice to you?

"No, don't worry, I’m over it" you smiled at her honestly. Yes, right now that girl was making your heart nothing short of breaking, if it wasn't already, but you couldn't hate her, not when she was sweet all the way through.

On the way to the park she kept talking about the things she wanted to do with you, how excited she was to share some snacks with you, or how she seriously wished she could take some pictures with you and Jin in a photo booth. Even you got caught up in her excitement.

Until you remembered that she was Jin's girlfriend.

"It's okay" you noticed how she didn't seem entirely sure, and in an attempt to make it clear to her you decided to propose to her to go eat something from the food trucks, just like she had said in the car. You were surprised to see how quickly her face lit up, "Sure! I've always wanted to try food from these places" she turned to look at Jin, gently pushing him in the direction of the food court, "Go shopping, me and Y/N have something to do."

"Wait, are you kicking me out?" Jin gasped, being dragged by Yeji to the first food truck, "You're supposed to be my girlfriend! You should want to spend more time with me."

"I was with you all afternoon, I barely had time to talk to Y/N," she gave him a soft kiss on the cheek and ran back to you, taking your hand and giving you a bright smile. You almost squealed internally at how cute she looked. You hated that Jin had found someone so cute.

"Shall we?" she intertwined her fingers with yours, walking towards the playground part.

And you just let yourself go.

She's All I Wanna Be | Kim Seokjin

"I've always wanted to do this with a friend," Yeji said as she dragged you towards the photo booth. She looked as excited as a kid when they tell you that if you do your homework right they'll give you a double-flavored ice cream as a prize.

"You've never done that before?" you both paused outside the booth, waiting for the group that had entered to come out so you could go inside. "Why?"

"I've never had a friend before" she muttered with her eyes glued to the red curtain that divided the group from you.

You turned to look at her, surprised at her answer, what did she mean by that? Had she really never had anyone to do these things with?

"How is it possible that you've never had a friend before?" you muttered on impulse, covering your mouth almost instantly.

"Most of the guys I knew acted like animals, and disgusting ones at that," you noticed how her hand lightly squeezed yours as her head lowered until her view was only the concrete floor, "And the girls... most of them avoided me at best, the rest took it upon themselves to make my life hell because I acted like a phony who just wanted attention from men, stupid, right?"

You nodded silently, thinking a bit about what she had just said. Admittedly, you thought a little badly of her at first, mostly because she seriously seemed to have that nasty 'pick me girl' attitude, but that was only your impression until she spoke and introduced herself. And, while it was true that you loved Jin, you would never have accused her of man-stealing or anything like that, Yeji really seems like the kind of girl that would win your heart just by the way she is. Shit, even you were starting to like her and you had barely known her for a week, and you only talked to her for two days.

"Don't listen to them, they're envious bitches" you nodded firmly, tightening your grip on her hand so you could show her that you supported her, "They know they could never even get to your feet, that's why they say those hurtful shits."

You heard her laugh softly as she covered her mouth with her hand. Your heart broke a little as you watched her eyes begin to fill with tears.

"Thank you for being so sweet to me, Y/N" she whispered as she fanned her eyes with her free hand so she could keep the tears from falling, "Ah, I don't want to appear crying in my first picture with you."

You watched as the group of friends left the booth and you took that instant to enter along with Yeji.

"Come on, you still have time to calm down" you smiled at her, taking a seat in front of the camera.

She took a big breath of air and gently patted her cheeks, "Good, I'm better, the grief is over." She gave you a soft smile, moving a little closer to you so that you both came into the camera's view. "Ready?" she murmured, looking at the screen you were both reflected in.

"Ready" you nodded, hitting the countdown button.

She's All I Wanna Be | Kim Seokjin

You weren't sure how long it had been since Jin and Yeji had given you a ride home, but you easily thought it might be about three, four hours. You had taken a shower as soon as you arrived, but not before you had talked for hours with Sooah and Chaeyoung, telling them about how every time you spent more time with them you ended up getting more and more attached to Yeji and, in turn, ended up feeling more and more guilty being together with both of them.

Chaeyoung finally told you that, if things were really like that, maybe the best thing would be to let Jin and Yeji be happy and you try to find your own way with another guy; Sooah, on the other hand, kept insisting on you doing it, all with the excuse of making your time count. You didn't quite understand her reasoning, but by this point you no longer questioned it.

Both answers had been left swirling around in your mind even after you had taken a shower. You lay on your bed and stared at your ceiling for a few seconds. It was full of stars shining in the night, the same ones you had bought as a child and had pasted all over your ceiling and walls. By this point you were no longer able to live without those night lights in your room.

You looked down at the foot of your bed, grabbing your wallet and pulling out the strip of pictures you had taken with Yeji. You couldn't help but laugh when you saw the sequence of the four photos. In the first one you both appeared making a V with your fingers; in the second one you made a heart with your arms, you one half, she the other; in the third one you both appeared looking at the curtain with surprise while half of Jin's body appeared entering the cabin; and, finally, in the fourth one Jin appeared between you both, hugging you and Yeji tightly while the three of you laughed loudly.

The constant ringing of your phone distracted you from what you were doing. You glanced at your desk clock, frowning as you noticed it was almost four in the morning. You picked up your phone and checked your inbox. The first messages were pictures Jin sent you about his departure. In some of them were the three of you, in others the two of them, in another one the two of you, and in some he was just by himself. You were not surprised at all. You wrote him a good night and left his chat.

The other messages were from an unknown number. You went into the chat and almost instantly felt the guilt come back to you.

"Hi, this is Yeji, I hope I'm not bothering you 😣"

"Jin gave me your number, he said you wouldn't mind if I talked to you."

"I just wanted to thank you for tonight, I seriously had a lot of fun, I hope it happens again in the future 😊"

The messages were followed by a series of pictures Yeji had taken from her cell phone. All of them showed both of you, and in most of them you were looking at something else, you hadn't even noticed that she had taken those pictures of you. They were just selfies of her with you behind her, but in all of them she looked so genuinely excited and happy that the guilt didn't take a second to eat you up inside.

You took a breath and opened your phone's keypad.

"You're not intruding, relax, thanks for texting me first 🙂 "

"I hope we get together again soon, I had a lot of fun too!"

You put your phone down on the bed and covered your eyes with your forearm.

For the first time all night you let the tears you had been holding back for hours fall. It hurt too much, but you had already made a decision, one that would be best for all parties. You nodded to yourself, feeling your chest tighten more and more as it was sinking in what you had decided to do.

"I'm sorry" you whispered, "but I can't do this to them" you rested a hand on your chest, bursting into tears, "You're strong, Y/N, you'll get through this, you'll find someone for you."

Lavender Moon - Ksj

He nestled your head on his shoulder like he was helping a kitten finding a comfortable position in his embrace as you sat between his legs in the steaming bath. He nuzzled his nose to your exposed neck, planting soft kisses that made you mewl contentedly under his touch.

"Why were you crying all alone, baby?" He stroked your wet hair as he wrapped his arms around your waist, pressing your back against his firm chest as if you were the only thing keeping him safe in the middle of a thunderstorm.

You pressed your lips together in a thin line as you shook your head to make it clear that you weren't going to give him the answer he wanted to hear, his lips eliciting a chuckle just behind your ear at your childish manner.

"I think I have an idea of what's going on." You let yourself sink further into his embrace, feeling all the stress you carried on your shoulders melt away with the scent of lavender, his thumb tracing a path across your skin to dry the drops of water that adorned all the way your arm like freshwater pearls. "You're protecting my mother again, aren't you?"

You twitched in his arms, turned in his embrace to see his expression and the moment you looked into his eyes you found yourself lost in them as they bored into yours, the love he had for you was there like concrete evidence. "I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong."

"She told me you should have left me a long time ago." You attempted to cover your mouth when you realized you had said more than was necessary. Even you were amazed at how easily the words slipped out of your mouth, you blamed it on the fact that you were completely relaxed in his arms, he had that special power that made your worries go away. "I don't think she's wrong, Jinnie. I've been nothing but trouble since the first day we met."

"How on earth can she be right?-" He kissed the bridge of your nose, the gesture making you blink innocently as the touch of his plump lips sent blood rushing to your cheeks. "I love you, that's all that matters."

"Do you want to know why she hates you so much?" A thousand stars had burst open in your swelling chest as he gave you a quick kiss on the lips. "Because I married the love of my life and not some other girl she wanted me to marry."

"Maybe it's because my brother beat you up so badly? Not the best first impression, obviously." You chuckled nervously as you breathed the same air as him, his fingers now intertwined with yours. "Isn't it funny that you happened to be there? Maybe we might never have met if you hadn't been there to help your brother with his wounds. Did you know that I fell in love with you the moment I laid my eyes on you?"

You rolled your eyes as he looked at you with a sense of adoration, ready to tell you for the thousandth time how beautiful you were that day like a poem he recited by heart.

"I think I have lost the count of how many times you have told me this story."

His mother's never-ending insults no longer saddened you, instead Jin and your shared giggles replaced your muffled sobs in one of the sacred places blessed by your marriage, where you would make happy memories with him until the end of time.

"You looked so pretty that day that I offered to pay your brother to beat me so I could see you again. Understandably, he didn't accept the money-" Your eyes widened in shock as you turned to face him. He giggled sweetly in your ears like a song, his hands making soothing circles on your thighs. "However, still, he beat me to death anyway. He said he did it just because he thought I was a jerk. God, you should have seen his face when I told him I wanted to marry you."

"I don't want to believe you. It doesn't even make sense." You cringed at the thought, but since nothing was impossible when it came to your husband, you could easily imagine the scenario, even with details.

"Oh love, I still have the scars on my chest to prove it." He wiggled his eyebrows teasingly, causing you to slap his chest lightly in return as you smiled with your eyes closed. "Maybe you'd like to kiss them better, hmm? Mrs. Kim?"

He was just an example of how maturity was not about age. Sometimes he was so sweet that he didn't even have to try to get what he wanted.

Including getting kisses from his baby.

"Only because you asked me nicely." Your lips curled into a smirk as you wasted no time in placing your hands on his abdomen, kissing a path down his neck to his chest. "I can't see anything-" You were halfway to his collarbone when he grabbed you by the hair, and even though his hands were some of the roughest you'd ever known, knowing he wouldn't put any pressure on his grip, you let him take control.

He guided you with his hands on your waist as you shifted in his embrace to find a better position on his lap. He tasted the drops of water on your lips like a man finding water in the middle of a dessert, your foreheads touching as you enjoyed the comforting silence.

"You're the only good thing in my life-" He whispered in your ear as you allowed him to help you straddle him with his expert hands. He watched your expression intently as you grabbed his hair at the back of his neck, using it as leverage to your face. "I'm not willing to give up on you ever."

"You are mine." Feeling your hips roughly lifted by the same hands that gently stroked your hair, you let out a soft whimper against his lips, feeling your pussy clench around his cock as he guided it into your welcoming walls. "I'll make sure no one ever hurts you again. She has no right to make you sad."

"Jinnie- don't you ever get mad at your mother-" You brushed his wet hair from his forehead as you finally settled into his lap. You were both still, clinging to each other as if you wanted to be moulded into one. "You know that I can take care of myself. Your mother's just being protective, there is no harm in that."

It was Jin who broke the silence as he couldn't help but thrust his hips into you, his breath catching in his throat.

"We'll get through this." You reassured him with a kiss on his lips. "Nothing scares me when you're by my side."

He tried to hide a giggle as he bit down on his lips with ultimate force, his fingers digging into the curve of your ass as he took control of you, moving you to his liking. He was too consumed with pleasure to even form words, but he promised you in a velvety voice.

"Good thing, angel. Because even when the sky falls down, even when the earth crumbles around our feet, I'll always be here by your side."

Your mother's just being overprotective, there is no harm in that."

Meanie - KSJ (18+)

Two rough fingers land on your jaw, tightening around the angle harshly making your eyes tear up even more.

“That’s all?” he asks, gritting his perfect set of teeth, “that’s all your smart mouth can do? Can’t even deep throat me? You whore!”

If it was another time - if it was not this situation - as in you on your knees, sucking Kim Seokjin off, then he would have to pay for this degradation.

You would have filed a defamation case for calling you derogatory names and would make sure that he sees the face of prison even if it’s only for a day.

But the situation you are currently in… is kind of compromising.

You had come to his cabin, slammed your resignation on his dark wood table, called him a selfish prick who wants nothing more than money and money. You threatened him that you would post about the company’s toxic work atmosphere in Linkedin and would give a one star review in Glassdoor but things turned around very quickly.

Things accelerated from one argument to another (it’s only you who argued, he only replied calmly yet sharply), and now you are on your knees, mouth stuffed with his rock hard cock that you can’t even put in your mouth properly.

You are but a woman and Kim Seokjin is way too handsome and tempting to turn down.

He grabs the back of your neck and pushes your mouth more on his shaft. Your drool rolls down the back of his cock and your chin then drops on your shirt making it look darker than the original color.

“Take me properly, Y/N!” Seokjin groans.

It’s not your fault that you can’t take him. You are not inexperienced by any means but he is just so fucking big.

You reel back to the time when you laughed at your co-worker for spreading the “Kim Seokjin has a giant dick” rumor. You thought he would be just average.

But oh boy! Were you wrong!

Tears prickle at the corner of your eyes as you try to take him full. The tip nudges at the back of your throat and makes you gag instantly.

Seokjin thrusts up and things become ten times harder.

But who are you to complain? Especially because your panties are ruined already and you can only think of how good his cock would feel inside you. If you complain now, it will make you nothing but a hypocrite.

You start bobbing your head matching the rhythm of your predator’s thrusts. Your free hand comes up to fondle his balls.

Seokjin moans. And you feel a weird and useless sense of pride.

Turning your bobs faster, you start sucking on him hard. You can feel him twitching inside the walls of your mouth.

His breaths soon turn heavy, short-lived and ragged.

You are not doing much better.

It’s embarrassing to say but you feel the familiar coil in your abdomen regardless of not being touched.

You rock your hips seeking for the tiny bit of friction that your own legs can provide you.

But that catches Seokjin’s eyes.

“Rutting against nothing huh? Such a desperate slut!” he degrades you more with a lopsided smile playing on his beautiful face.

You don’t reply - of course he is right.

He slams his pelvis on your face. Your nose collides with his pubic hair, making the intensity of your arousal wilder.

Seokjin moans prettily again as his hip shudders and he cums inside your mouth. His hand on the back of your neck goes tiger, “swallow it!” he commands.

You comply. You try to swallow his disposal without wasting a drop. And while doing so, you cum undone wetting your leggings.

When he is satisfied with your act, he pulls himself out from your mouth. His cock is glistening with his arousal and your spit.

The mixture of the same runs down your chin making you look even messier.

“Get up.” he orders again. You do so without voicing any protest.

“Oh ho!” his eyes are fixed on the apparent wet spot on your leggings, “you came in your pants? So pathetic of you,Y/N.”

Now that you are coming down from your high, shame washes over you.

You were here to resign from the job after he canceled your vacation application but you ended up doing things you never thought you would.

“I will take my leave” you reply with downcast eyes, turning your heels already to pick up your bag and leave.

“Did I say you can leave?” he stands up from his over-expensive chair. Walking towards where you are standing, he closes the gap between your bodies.

“I just resig-”

“I don’t accept it.” he tugs a loose strand of hair behind your ears.

“I am kind of mean, you see. I strive to keep the things that I like to myself and myself only.” he continues and gives you a sickeningly sweet smile.

“Now come, let me fuck the brat out of you. So that you have more spice to add to that glassdoor review when I piss you off next time.” his finger traces the path of your shirt and lands on your chest. He circles his digit around your clothed nipple. You feel your arousal rushing back to you.

Now if Kim Seokjin wants to fuck you, who are you to reject? But you are not as docile as he thinks you are.

“Only if you accept the vacation application, Sir.”

Mistletoe

Mistletoe

Pairing: Jin x Reader

Genre: Fluff

Summary: Caught under the mistletoe with the one and only, Kim Seokjin.

A/N: Omg for once darling is on time for a bts member’s birthday ?!!/):&:@/$ lol jk i love you jinnie

-

Christmas was possibly your favorite holiday ever. The vibes you would get made you feel like a little kid all over again. Plus, Christmas decorating was the cherry on top. And since you’re spending this Christmas with your roommate, also known as your long-term crush, everything just fell into place.

While you were so busy rummaging through your box of Christmas decorations you have brought from your parents home, you didn’t even hear Jin come through the front door of your little shared dorm.

“Woah, what’s that?” Jin asked, startling you.

“Oh my gosh, Jin! You scared me,” You jumped slightly, holding your hand over your heart.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to!” He chuckled, “Anyways, what’s that box for?”

“Christmas decorations for our dorm! We need to spice this boring place up for Christmas feels,”

“You’re crazy, you know that?” Jin smirked, raising one of his eyebrows up.

“But you still love me as your roommate!” You giggled, “Now help me,”

-

“Higher! Okay, now just a tad bit lower… there!” You clapped your hands together as Jin just finished putting the last ornament up on the tree.

“Y/N, I’m tired! Can we take a break?” Jin whined.

“Take a break? Jin, we’ve been only decorating for 30 minutes! And it was just our Christmas tree!” You laugh, throwing your head back a little, “What? Is there glitter on my face?” You asked after your laughs quiet down, noticing Jin was staring at you with a huge smile on his face, causing you to blush slightly.

“You’re kid, cute,” He blurted out, realizing what he said before his ears started turning red, “I- I mean, uh, let’s get on with decorating!”

You nodded, looking away before he got the chance to see how more red your face got.

-

After an hour or so, you and Jin finally got done decorating the dorm. You walked around the place, the biggest smile plastered on your face, admiring all the Christmas details you two managed to put up.

Jin clutched the small mistletoe in his hand behind his back, watching you from afar. He hurriedly hung it up as soon as your back faced him.

“Mm, Y/N, come check this out!” Jin coughed, motioning you to come over as you looked at him.

His heart was pumping at each step you took as you got closer and closer to him.

“What is it?” You question, standing right in front of him.

“We’re uh- we’re under the mistletoe,” He smiled shyly, looking away as he scratch the back of his neck.

You looked up and surely, you two were under the mistletoe. Heat rose up to cheeks once again, clearing your throat before answering, “Yeah- I guess we are, hm?”

You two just stood there for what felt like hours, looking around to see who would make the first move until Jin finally got fed up, and the mutual pining you two shared. It was clear to you AND everyone else.

“Well? Are you going to kiss me?” Jin teased, a smug look on his face.

“What do you mean, me? You were the one to call me over here,” You fought back, taking a step closer.

“Yeah, but you obviously put this mistletoe up so it’s clear you wanted to kiss me,” He pushed.

“What?! I did no such thi-” You tried to defend until you were cut off by a pair of lips.

You kissed back instantly, standing on your tippy toes to deepen the kiss as you wrapped your arms around his neck, softly tugging his hair.

“I love testing you,” Jin chuckled as he pulled away, seeing you chase his lips with your eyes still close.

You reconnected your lips, “Oh shut up,” mumbling against his mouth as you continued kissing him.

Just Imagine 6

You and your boyfriend Seokjin are in the dance studio, practising in a choreo.

You are the main dancer and you have noticed that Jin has some difficulties with dancing so you decided to stay with him to help him.

You are in the middle of the choreo and the part where Jin has to lift you up in the air.

So you run up to me, he places his arms on your ribs and he lifts you.

However, as he doesn't have a good grip on you, he moves his fingers on your ribs, making you flinch hardly and giggle loudly.

Seokjin raises an eyebrow at you but sets you on the ground again, having already understood what had happened.

So you run up to him again and he catches you again, and he lifts you by your ribs again.

However, Jin this time digs in your ribs, not setting you down, while you are laughing hysterical and squirming in the air.

“Why are you laughing baby? Is there something funny?” he asks you innocently, like he is not currently tickling one of your worst spots.

You are feeling your nerves being destroyed one by one as electric shopts are hitting your body and your ribs are being tortured.

And Jin is not ceasing his assault as he finds your laughter cute, grinning from ear to ear.

Let’s just say it was really difficult for you to finish the choreo for the next of the night...

It's been more than five years since you last went to the beach, the reason being you moved to a different city to pursue your studies.

WelL you also maYbe have a love/hate relationship with the sun ( it’s more hate than love though) that would explain why you were never out when you were home for a few days during your vacations. It’s not that you don’t like the beach, it’s just that…

okAY

MAYBE you don’t like the beach.

Who could blame you though ? There’s seaweed everywhere and it sticks to your body when you get out of the water or flies in your eyes when it’s windy. [don't ask why but for some reasons, each time you went to the beach, there were seaweeds EVERYWHERE]

Also it gets sO cold when it’s windy, one moment you’re in the water and it’s all nice, the next one you’re freezing because of the ~wind~

Let’s not forget the sand, and the sun

Oh the sun

Ball of fire that literally burns you to the point you don’t know if you’re a human or a tomato

Last but not least, the beach is always SO crowded and, let's be honest, you like the company of your friends buT you despise crowded space where everyone sits so close to each other you can literally hear their breaths. UGH

Yeah, you’re not much of a beach person.

Too bad your friends LOVE going there. Especially during hot summer days.

“Come on y/n, don’t be such a killjoy.” Hoseok teases “We will have so much fun at the beach”

You groan “ahnnn. Let me think about it…” you tap your chin and look up “no?”

Disappointed but not surprised, your friends sigh in harmony.

“Come on you can go without me. It’s not like I will be missed anyways. Plus I could stay and take care of your cat” you look at Jimin whose eyes grow bigger

“ABSOLUTELY NOT” he points at you “Last time I let you alone with Luna, poor baby was dressed up with ribbons and you bathed her with super scented shampoo.”

For your defence, the cat smelled like poop and Jimin only uses expensive shower products from fancy perfume brands. You hAd to wash her. The ribbon was just there and you thought it’d look cute as a collar. It’s not like the cat complained anyways.

You huff and cross your arms over your chest. “I am noT coming, nothing you could say or do will make me change my mind.”

You stand up from the couch and leave for the kitchen to take your phone while Jimin and Hoseok exchange an understanding look and nod.

“Y/nnnn??” Jimin calls sweetly and you reply with a hum "What about lunch? Or dinner? I heard there was a restaurant at the beach we’re going to. Apparently they have a starred chef.”

You look away from your phone’s screen, suddenly very interested. “Well, as long as you’re offering” You smile ; “I hope you know I will order the most expensive dish from their menu”

To that, Hoseok rolls his eyes “yeah yeah we’ll see about that. Now go get changed. We’re going in ten minutes. Namjoon should be here anytime”

“Sur- WHAT??” You almost choke on imaginary water "Didn’t you say we were going tomorrow ?”

“yes. We are going tomorrow AND today” Jimin tells you “If you listened more carefully instead of saying no all the time, you would’ve caught that”

You huff ; “fiNE. But you’re paying for food both today and tomorrow”

They laugh at your pissed expression as you rush to your room to find something appropriate to wear.

Thank god you shaved yesterday, you give yourself a mental pqt on the back for that. The first bikini you find is the one you change into. Quick check in the mirror. Okay. A dress is thrown over all of this and you then proceed to very dramatically throw everything you might need in your bag.

“Y/n Namjoon is here we gotta go” you hear Jimin call

“Just a minute” You run to your bed and grab your phone.

You notice they already left when you arrive at the door.

Penalty for the last one out, uh? Dammit those boys are still 3.

You sigh and grab the apartment's keys.

“There is no such thing as too much sunscreen!”

As you thought, the weather is scorching hot. You all settled in the shades of your umbrellas, bottle of water close to you to stay hydrated. Namjoon brought Taehyung with him. You haven’t seen them for the past years, they changed quite a lot (and thank god because the emo look Namjoon was going for a few years back was aWfuL). Namjoon is all muscles now and Taehyung has a girlfriend!! Incredible right? He used to be so shy around the opposite back in high school. He said she would come later today. Everyone is chatting happily, the waves as a background music. You were starting to unpack your bag when Jimin pointed out your insane amount of sunscreen. This boy loved teasing you.

“Don’t you think bringing one bottle was enough? Do you really need…” Jimin counts the bottles laid out on your towel “SEVEN?! What are you even doing with those ? EaTiNg them?” You all snort at his comment

“They don’t have the same use!!! There are different SPFs and some are oils and there’s also.. wait. Do you even cAre? Can’t someone just help me apply some on my back ? Yes? Oh god Joon you’re my saviour thank you!”

As you remove your dress, you notice Hoseok’s smile before he once again teases you ; “You’re so pale Yoongi would be jealous”

You laugh “If I burn to death because I don’t have sunscreen on, I doubt that he will envy me”

You sit, back facing Namjoon, and hand him the biggest bottle of sunscreen, which he applies very carefully. You thank him when he is done and lay on your towel, being careful to stay in the umbrella’s shadow, as everyone runs into the water.

Earphones now plugged in, you open your overused notebook and, a pencil in your hand, get ready to drown the pages in randomsmall poems.

The blue of the sea

Is like the blue of your eyes tears

You look smile at me

This picture of you smiling at me// it smiles at me?

And I know you’re… ????? far away from here?

(because??) I am blue now, just like you

You sigh and look at the sea. The page is all covered with various doodles now and half of the words you wrote have been scratched off and replaced by others. It doesn’t make sense :(

Where are the boys anyways? They haven't come back and it’s been what? An hour? Maybe two? You check your phone and sigh. 11 am. It’s only been thirty minutes. You sigh in frustration, wishing the day was over already so you could go back home and have your sun detox.

Your notebook is settled aside and you change the music to a much calmer one before laying down completely.

Never too late or too early for a good nap.

“Hey, y/n, do you want to go swimm-“ Jimin stops himself when he sees you’re sleeping. “hasn’t been at the beach in two years and here she is sleeping” he shakes his head

“Jimin? What time is it? I’m kinda hungry” Hoseok calls as he approaches

He checks his phone “1pm. We should go eat. Call the boys”

The boys are being loud enough to wake you up as they get prepared to leave.

Annoyed, you sigh and open your eyes, almost instantly regretting as the sun blinds you despite your sunglasses and the umbrella.

You’re about to tell them to shut uP when you hear someone say your name. ; “what about Y/n ? Shouldn’t we wake her up so she can come eat with us?”. You recognise the voice as Namjoon’s

“Don’t worry about it, I’ve already sent her a text saying where we’re going. Let her have her rest” Jimin replies and you hear the boys’ voices fade as they walk away.

It’s quiet again now. Perfect, you can go back to sleep- wait a minute 🤨

Did Namjoon mention eating? Last time you checked it was 11am but that was before you took a nap so…

Oh my god

They did noT-

You check your phone and 1) it’s already 1 pm how did you sleep for two hours?? 2) Jimin didn’t even send you a text when he promised he’d pay for your meal 3) THEY WENT FOR LUNCH WITHOUT YOU

!!!

You feel betrayed. Very much betrayed. You hate Jimin

Well, if they plan on leaving you behind, might as well take some time to organise your stuff and reapply some ✨sunscreen✨

When you finally arrive at the restaurant, it's already 1:40 PM. Namjoon kept a seat empty next to him, which you gladly take. As promised, you order the most expensive thing on the menu (fancy cooked fish with vegetables or something like that,, whatever, Jimin said he was paying and you plan on making him regret not waking you up earlier). The food has a divine taste by the way.

You feel like doing a victory dance when you see Jimin’s face as he takes the bill and a big grin spreads on your face when he looks at you, eyes wide. Take that

After this day, Jimin decided to never leave you behind when it was time to eat. Not when his wallet was at stake at least.

Shine On Me | Preview

This morning, you made it clear that going swimming was NOT in your plans but, hundred of supplication and a cone of ice cream offered by Hoseok (this man really knows the way to your heart) later, you give in and dive your feet in the coLd water.

“YOU TOLD ME IT WAS WAY HOTTER THAN THIS!!!” You scream at the four dumb-asses that are your friends, already regretting doing this.

“But it IS hot!” Jimin replies “you just gotta dive right in”

And he starts to lightly splash water at you, like the good friend he is. You run around and try to avoid getting wet.

Suddenly you feel strong arms wrapping around your waist and- oh no- you know where this is going. Hoseok laughs in your neck and lifts you up. Your friends laugh even louder

“JUNG FUCKING HOSEOK PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT” you hit his arm around you

“As you wish” and he drops you

In the water. And it’s cold!!!!

“OHMYGOD HOSEOK I AM GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS” you point a finger at him as you try to push him away from your face your now-soaked hair. Of course, you fail (I mean, have you ever actually tried to brush a hand through your hair when they’re wet? That’s right, you CaN’t).

Hoseok is having a hard time catching his breath looking at how much he’s laughing, oh god you wish a siren would come and drag him to the bottom of the ocean.

Or maybe not. You still need your friend to comfort you when you’re sad. Plus, as dumb as he is, he’s your best friend.

That doesn’t stop you from splashing water at him, making him scream in surprise. And suddenly everyone is splashing water at each other.

Yes. You guys are children.

You probably all start screaming a bit too much and are surely extra loud because someone is calling you out.

“Hey. Stop it!” A masculine voice calls in your back, startling you. “You plan on causing a tsunami or what?”

There’s a moment of silence before you slowly turn around and-

oh my god-

what a sight

There’s a handsome lifeguard standing on the shore pointing at you and your friends. Sun-kissed skin, slightly damp hair gracefully falling on his forehead, plump lips, swim shirt leaving very little to the imagination… yup. So handsome. Your eyes catch up to his and you hold his gaze, your body suddenly hot and you look away

“ Hey,Seokjin!” Namjoon waves at the lifeguard

The smell. The distinct smell of false hope. Strong enough to cover the heaps of despair and loss which built it. The casino was ever lively—money on the table, green on green. The sounds of hearty laugher audible over the subdued jazz. Behind the polished bar, Yoongi watched over the crowd with caution. A smile painted on his face like art, unmoving but beautiful to those who looked upon him. He’d chat up his patrons, expertly pouring drinks, movements fluid as he created liquored masterpieces. The trust he held, like a chemist preparing a cure. Their lives locked in his palms.

He excused himself, towel thrown over his shoulder. His all black uniform a welcome contrast to his pale skin. Like a shadow he slipped into the back office. Within a small desk drawer was his pistol. A custom model—the five-letter branding so subtle only those who knew would be able to find it.

He held the weight of the gun in his hand. Nimble fingers tracing along it’s contours. The metal was cold to touch—and he hated it. He hated the life he had been thrown into against his will. But he did it for you.

And you hardly knew. You were utterly blind to the leash which held a vigorous hold around his neck. Even on nights where you’d kiss him so sweetly he could almost forgive you.

Ears tingling from the absence of the pounding music, deep-set laugher. Laughter only those with no care in the world could afford. The silence reminiscent of the void in his heart. He loaded the weapon. Locked in the cartridge and stared down the barrel. You’d look beautiful with it stuffed down your throat. But more likely, it would be Jin pointing it down his.

Tucking the gun in his back pocket, his shoulders relaxed.

A window to the casino floor showed a weak reflection. The fear in his eyes still hiding amongst theatrics of bravery. The fear that the Kim heir had beaten into him with his raw fists. The crooked man who you worshipped was a menace. But you worshipped the ground he walked on, and Yoongi simply couldn’t break the spell.

He returned to the bar. Smile wide with charisma. Despite the pulse of the casino around him, the weight of the gun dragged him down. A harrowing reminder of who he belonged to.

Yoongi hated gambling. It was his least favorite thing about you, yet you knew not of the high-stakes gamble he played almost every night. With every strategically poured drink and every charming conversation, he collected fragments of information, forging alliances and defying destiny. With every step, he embodied the dual essence of a bartender and a gangster—making him a valuable piece in Kim Seokjin’s game.

“Promise me something” The night before, you looked at him with so much adoration, he swore he could melt into your touch.

“Don’t fall in love with me. Because I can never love you back”

His lips parted, shocked—breathing in. Met in seconds with a kiss so incredibly hot that he could feel the burn even hours later. His palms immediately cupping your cheeks, lips pressed tight against yours, unwavering. The pain searing with your words made him dizzy. Made him nauseous. You were sickening, addictive and he craved you insatiably.

Deeping the kiss as he tilted your head back more. Eyes shut—lost in the feeling. Everything vanished. There was only him. Only you.

He pulled you in closer—lifting you into his arms. Soft moans escaping but neither of you separated for long. He didn’t want to part. Didn’t want to breathe. He wanted to be consumed by the crippling mess you were. Lips sliding across your jaw—peppering hot kisses down your neck. Your fingers weaving through his hair, guiding him. He gripped your hips gently, knee slotting between your legs.

“Promise me, Yoongi” You exhaled quietly, breath uneven, shaky. “I need you to say it”

Yoongi’s teeth grazed over your ear as he grunted in irritation. Fingers intertwining with yours he finally backed away, meeting your eyes.

“We can’t do this unless you promise” Exasperated, he cupped your face again, thumb tracing your bottom lip fondly. You grabbed his wrist, begging him with your eyes. Your voice was quiet. So quiet he could feel your words without hearing them. Lust burned in his gaze—eyes darkening.

The pain was delicious. The ache burning in his heart. He had never entertained the thought of ever having feelings for you. Never rendered the possibility. He understood the arrangement well. But hearing you say it. Seeing the way you looked at him. The way you kissed him, let him touch you, let him make love to you night after night.

“Yoongi, please” Words had a way of ruining the most beautiful things. Yoongi wondered if he had just stayed quiet, would the pain never come? You began clawing at his shirt, popping the buttons off one by one. Yoongi hissed, tugging at your lip warningly. Blinking at you for a second, he seemed to weigh his options. He lifted you up, allowing you to wrap your legs around him.

Staring at you a moment, everything slowed down. He grew annoyed. Why would you say that to him—you didn’t know him. You had no way of knowing whether or not you could love him so why cut off the possibility? Would it really be so wrong? He would care for you. Far better than any of those Kim bastards ever could, anyway.

“Yoongi” You screamed, back slammed against the wall. His hands hovered over your shoulders, fingers hooked under the straps of your bra. Swiftly he pulled them off, allowing it to fall into a puddle on the floor, his shirt following. Yoongi simply chuckled, pushing two fingers down your throat.

Yoongi pulled his fingers out, smirking slightly at the way your eyes quivered. He slid his hand down your body, under your panties so he could paint your quivering cunt with his wet fingers. He watched you carefully as he drew small, tight circles on your clit. His other hand on your neck, thumb tilting your chin up to face him.

“Yoongi stop” Your voice was tiny, almost afraid. The sound only made his heart pound.

“Fuck no” He growled. He dipped his fingers into your cunt, allowing his palm to flatten as you unconsciously grinded your hips against it. Curling his finger, he pumped in and out of you—your eyes rolling back. His lips going down your chest, dragging your bra down with his teeth till he could round his lips over your tender nipples.

A loud moan left your lips, causing him to hiss. Pulling his finger out he turned you around, pushing your chest against the wall before gripping your panties and tearing them in two. It burned against your skin, a dizzying sensation in your head as you heard the fabric rip. Immediately he pumped two fingers back inside, teeth grazing over your shoulders. His belt unlatched, you felt his hard cock slap against your ass. He pushed you down, bending you over with a hand tight  on your neck, holding you steady.

“Who the fuck do you think you are huh? You came onto me, bitch. You don’t call the shots anymore, I do” You whimpered as his thick head pushed in. He lifted you onto his cock, chest pressed up tight against yours—looking nowhere except deep into your eyes.

You sank down so perfectly. Your tight walls hot against his pulsing length. Your legs wrapped around his waist so tight he could barely move. It was emotional, the way you held onto him as he rolled his hips, pulsing into you. Staggered breaths. Sweat on his forehead.

Harder. His hips jerked at the sound of your pussy, dripping out with his every move. Your eyes blasted with lust—lips parted, so incredibly fucked out with pleasure it had him salivating. Pretty little moans as he fucked into you.

Tight. Fast. Lost in your sensation. Eyes rolling to the back of his head.

His lips nipped at your jaw, tasting the sweat glazed over your skin.

“Where can I come?” His voice was hoarse. Low and broken with need. You stilled yourself, sliding off of his throbbing cock until you found your feet and stood. Within seconds you slid to your knees, mouth wide open—eager to please.

He swore you had never looked more beautiful.

He admired your face. Lips swollen, pressing his flushed tip between them, eyes wide with a false innocence. Swiping the drool away from the edge of your lips. You let your tongue wrap around his length, cautiously, exploring across his veins, watching his reactions as you tightened your cheeks around him.

Yoongi’s eyes rolled back, hissing as you began to bob your head up and down. Sloppy, saliva dripping everywhere, the obscene sounds exemplified by you taking him throat-deep, gagging all over. He chanted like a mantra, “Just like that…fuck…just like that”

Both hands on his base, you worked him vigorously, enjoying his throaty moans echoing throughout the room. He bucked his hips, tugging at your jaw as he pushed further down your throat. “Always so good to me”

His hand moved to your forehead, his grip on your head leading you along his shaft, urging you to go faster. He thrusted his hips forwards, forcing you to take him all the way. Fucking your face roughly.

“You can take it, I know you can baby come on” Back and forth, he pulled his cock all the way out, letting you catch your breath before stuffing you full once again. You squealed around him, smacking your lips, pouring yourself into your movements.

Every fiber of his body shuddered as he came, twitching and jerking as he spilled deep in your throat. You licked up every last drop.

He dreaded the silence that followed the beautiful storm. He pulled you into an embrace before you could think too card. Laying you down, peppering you with kisses. Loving ones.

He didn’t know you, and you didn’t know him.

But he wanted to change that. He wanted to fight.

He nuzzled into your neck. Sweet. You blinked back tears. He saw this, growing concerned. “Baby I—I didn’t mean to be rough”

You shook your head, sniffling. “It’s not you I just” The tears spilled down your cheeks. Yoongi’s heart wrenched, reaching to wipe them away. His touch endearing. “I don’t want to hurt you”

Yoongi pressed his lips against yours. Long, sweetly. A tired, exasperated kiss that seemed to say you’re incredibly, utterly perfect.

“I just don’t make promises I can’t keep”

You had cast a spell on him and he was undoubtedly cursed.

The next morning, Kim Seokjin had arrived at the suite. The broad man appeared much friendlier in person than the magazine shoots he had seen him in with his infamous mother. Likely his same age, he was undeniably handsome. Brown eyes that incited mischief, yet with a softness that was almost genuine.

Almost.

You had answered the door, wearing a fluffy casino robe. Unphased when you saw your dear friend. He looked at you briefly, before his eyes shifted to Yoongi who was still in bed.

“Morning princess” Tone was steady, smile evident, but Yoongi could see the irritation in his eyes.

“Hey” You greeted him politely. “Did you need something?”

Jin’s gaze was locked on Yoongi. “Actually, I’m here to talk to him” You seemed to pout. “Don’t worry, it’s just work stuff. Give us a minute, okay?”

Reluctantly, you wandered off.

Jin painted another smile on his face, entering the room. He walked up to where Yoongi had stepped out of bed. “Yoongi—right? I’ve heard great things about the tips you bring in”

There it was. The tricky power games that were synonymous with Kim Seokjin’s reputation.

“Yes sir”

Jin grinned at his attitude. “Now, Yoongi. Man to man. Where do you see this” He gestured his hand, “Going?”

Yoongi pursed his lips. He knew getting involved with these kinds of people was always complicated. But he was in too deep. He wasn’t going to give up on you just over some baseless threats. What he really wanted to know—was how the fuck Jin knew where you were? Was this motherfucker having you followed?

“She came onto me, sir”

“Oh I know” Jin chuckled, “She was nursing a broken heart, poor thing. My idiotic brother crushed her, so she’s acting out”

Namjoon. Yoongi recalled.

Jin’s gaze was intense—serious now, in contrast to his playfulness earlier. “I want you to understand something, Yoongi.” He took a seat on the bed. Leaning back, his hair flipped over his forehead. “I’m allowing this. For now.”

“Sir”

“There will be a time where I’ll need you to back off. And you’ll do it, otherwise your dean is going to get an interesting phone call”

Yoongi swallowed thickly. He didn’t like being threatened. How could you live like this? Did these guys interfere in every part of your life?

“Yes sir” He responded, humbly. Jin seemed satisfied.

“One last thing” Jin stood up, brushing the dust off of the lapel of his designer suit. He rest his hand on Yoongi’s bare shoulder. Skin cold to touch. Grip firm. “Hurt her, and I will kill you”

You made your way back eventually, noticing Yoongi’s shifted demeanor.

“Sorry, I know Jin is a lot sometimes” You kissed him, crawling into his lap where he sat, defeated. “He’s just looking out for me. We’re like best friends”

Yoongi scoffed. How naïve could you be? He knew crazy when he saw it, and that man was no friend of yours. He looked at you, eyes softening once he saw how cutely you were grinning.

“I’m glad he approved” You beamed at him. “This means, we can like, actually hang out…if you want”

God, of course he did. He would follow you to the ends of the earth if you asked. Interestingly, Jin was welcome to Yoongi after that day. You would bring him along on weekend getaways, Monaco, Bali, Paris and Milan. Jin would be there, occupied by his own vices while you and Yoongi got lost in a honeymoon haze. Sharing your darkest thoughts under the eastern sunrise, to hushed confessions under the northern stars. He learned you. Knew you like the back of his hand. Your quirks, likes, irritations and dreams.

“You’ve seriously never had feelings for him?” He asked you one day. You made a face.

“I’ve only ever loved Namjoon” Ouch.

Yoongi was skeptical. Frankly because Yoongi knew you were in love with him from the way your eyes would light up talking about him. Your memories from childhood, or the intimate laughs the two of you would share. You followed him like a little lamb, adapting his crazy lifestyle and engaging with his elitist friends. And after the glimmering lights would go down, you’d make your way to Yoongi, who was…

What was he?

A dog. You had him on a leash, Jin had him in a cage. He was a mutt allowed to you out of pity, to distract you from the real things that were controlling your life. Yoongi’s job was to give you a semblance of control. A sexual outlet, a shoulder to lean on.

And Yoongi hated you. Hated who you were around Jin and hated that no matter what he did, Jin would be a huge part of your life. Even if he did somehow, miraculously, make you fall in love with him, make you feel for him what he did for you without a doubt—Jin would still have control. Yoongi was useless in his shadow. It enfuriated him. Drove him mad. What lengths would he have to go to get you? What would it take for Kim Seokjin to back the fuck off and let you live your own life?

But your life was never your own. And now here he was, all the loyalty paid off into dust as he tended the bar at your engagement party. It was ridiculous. Did he truly mean so little to you—that he wasn’t even a guest? Let alone the fact that it infuriated him you had to marry one of these twisted, god-awful Kim boys against your will.

In front of him, the man of the hour—the so-called Kim Taehyung, sat with a dirty smirk on his face, eyes drilled onto the pair of die rolling in his palm.

“So”

It was in the job description. Make conversation with the guests. Yoongi had been around long enough to know how to make men like Kim Taehyung feel great about themselves, in more ways than one.

“Been a while since you’ve been home huh”

He set down the shaker, straining the drink mix into a margarita glass with a slight flick of his wrist. Taehyung watched the steady pour of the liquid.

“Absolutely” He smiled, although Yoongi could tell it was fake. “I had to come home. See my family—my brothers. After all,” He flashed his forearm at Yoongi, where the Kim crest was neatly tattooed, same as his brothers.

Yoongi squinted. He knew about the tattoo. He had seen it, both on Namjoon and Jin. He knew they got it after their mother died. But as far as he knew, Taehyung had left at a fairly young age, not keeping in contact with his family. Taehyung hadn’t been around for his mother’s death.

Right? Yoongi pursed his lips. Taking another look, he watched Taehyung carefully. Round eyes, thick lips, small fingers in which the dice rolled.

He looked familiar. Yoongi swore he must have seen this man somewhere before. He knew nothing of where Taehyung had been for the past ten years. According to you, no one did.

“Please excuse me,” Nodding politely, Yoongi rushed off into the storage room. Grabbing his phone, he googled the man you were about to get engaged to.

Kim Taehyung.

Nothing.

Nothing at all—not even so much as a media article on the engagement. No photographs, nothing.

But I know I’ve seen you somewhere.

He went to his own camera roll, scrolling aimlessly in an attempt to jog his memory. Would it have been school? The casino? He couldn’t figure it out.

Until he saw it.

A group picture. From a dinner one of his professors had invited him to. There he was—Kim Taehyung.

Except there was no way, Yoongi would have remembered if he met someone with that name. Was he going by an alias? Who was he?

Dialing his professor, he gulped the sour bitterness in his mouth.

“Yoongi? Odd time to be calling—is everything alright?” His professor greeted him kindly.

“Hi sir. Sorry about that I just have a quick question. That dinner you invited us out to…there was another person there who was not a student. Could I know their name?”

His professor chuckled, “Oh, sure. That was Park Jimin—he was a student of mine who now runs a private practice, pretty upscale clients apparently.”

Hanging up abruptly, Yoongi ran back out to the bar.

Yoongi didn’t like anything about it. But he had little time to ponder over it when suddenly you walked in, and he swore his heart stopped.

He couldn’t breathe.

Because it finally hit him. Had he told you everything he held inside? Had he made sure he savored every last second he had you? He couldn’t think. His mind went blank, red with rage—even moreso when Taehyung stood up in front of him and went to go see you.

He watched as he pulled you onto the dance floor—you hate dancing, Yoongi thought to himself. He watched as the man touched you, the lust in his eyes shamelessly evident.

He felt like throwing up. He prayed and prayed that you would stop. He wanted you to get away from him, he wanted you to be in his arms.

And his prayers were answered, as the ceremony was brought to a startling halt.

“You’re under arrest for the murder of Kim Seokjin”

Yoongi’s eyes darted towards the small ensemble of law enforcement that pushed through the crowd towards you, led by a man in a dark coat. Handcuffs clicked around your wrists and you were being dragged out. Yoongi ran to the entrance before they could take you—reaching out with assurance

“Y/n—listen to me” Your eyes were void of emotion. Frozen with complete and utter shock at the news. “Don’t say anything without a lawyer okay? I will meet you at the station with bail money”

You nodded slowly, but Yoongi wasn’t convinced you had heard him.

You were gone. Arrested. Yoongi spun around to scan the crowd—it was a critical time after all. Where was Namjoon? Yoongi looked on, searching for the Kim heir who was nowhere to be seen. His eyes landed instead on Taehyung who stood in the middle of the dance floor, a small tug at the edge of his lips.

Playing with those goddamn dice.

-

Jungkook’s mind went blank when he saw you. Breath quite literally stolen from his lungs. Never in a million years would he admit just how pretty you looked tonight. The soft fabric of your engagement dress fell against your body just right. Your face glowed, glitter on your eyes. Diamond choker on your neck—simple and yet dazzling.

Your lips were his favorite. Plump and glossy pout on your bored face. He wanted to kiss you. He wanted to taste you. He wanted to tear it all off and ruin you.

Jungkook wasn’t cruel. He didn’t intend on arresting you in front of everyone. But the vile jealousy that built in his chest when he saw the way your fiancée, Kim Taehyung, sweep you onto the dance floor—he couldn’t help it.

The burning sight of Taehyung’s hands on your waist, face a breath away from yours, lips so close to your neck. The way he looked at you—way you looked at him. You barely knew this man—how could you look at him like that?

He had to stop it. Fists clenching he decided to arrest you then and there. The way your face fell when you saw him was priceless. You seized up at his touch, the soft click of the cuffs around your wrists where your ringless fingers lay limp. Slow, shaky, tears budding in your eyes but never spilling.

Oh how he would love to see you cry.

The moment he had you outside, all hell broke loose. You were livid. Dragging your ankles into the ground like a little brat. Rolling his eyes, Jungkook decided it would be far easier to toss you over his shoulder rather than continue putting up with your antics.

“Put me down you fucking asshole, I didn’t do this!” You screamed, kicking your pointy heels into his back. “Where the fuck is Namjoon huh? Why aren’t you arresting him, if anyone had motive—”

Jungkook suppressed an urge to snap back at you. Setting you down harshly, he pinned you against the side of his car, forearm by your cheek.

He paused, looking deep into your eyes. The rise and fall of your chest calling him closer. You glared at him with such spite. Such disgust. The thought of planting his lips on yours crossed his mind. Put that all that pent up anger to good use.

“Fuck you Jeon Jungkook” You hissed, your hot breath against his cheek. “I’m gonna get you thrown off this fucking case you piece of shit”

“That’s enough” His fingers gripped your jaw, forcing you to look up at him, “Do you really think any other officer in there is going to take on a case to arrest Kim Namjoon for murder? This is my chance to finally tear that stupid family to pieces and I’m not letting a spoilt little cunt like you get in my way”

Jungkook hadn’t realized how loud his voice got by the end. You looked petrified, nodding slowly. His heart squeezed as he could see a tear forming at the corner of your eye.

He let you go. Shit. Your best friend had died. You likely were just hearing about it. Clearly in denial or putting on a brave face for him. For the crowds. Turning away, he opened the door.

“Just get in”

Huffing, you did as he said, slamming the door closed. Jungkook slid into the driver’s seat, starting the engine as he looked over at you again. A tear finally spilled from your eyes, causing Jungkook’s heart to jump. Dammit. Reaching nervously into his coat, he pulled out a handkerchief, handing it to you.

His fingers brushed against yours as you took it. Your skin was cold—instinctively he grabbed your hand. You flinched at his touch, pulling away but Jungkook grabbed it again, tightly, pulling it back towards him. His hold unwavering.

“I am sorry for your loss” Jungkook’s eyes softened with something bordering concern. Gulping he released your hand, diverting his gaze. A reluctant blush painting his cheeks.

Jungkook knew you weren’t his culprit. As much as he loathed you, he had no vested interest in your demise. You were collateral damage. Unfortunately for him, the Kim’s had police tucked deep in their silver lined pockets. He had to be careful. Someone was always watching.

Clearing his throat, he put the car in drive, pushing the temperature higher to help you warm up. Turning out of the parking lot, he figured he should try and get some information off record before everything you would say would literally get used against you.

“Where were you last night?”

You scoffed. “You’re not getting a fucking word out of me.”

God, he forgot what a pain in the ass you could be. Spoilt brat. “Y/n” Jungkook’s voice was stern. “I can make your life hell, or I can help you. And trust me, I’m not someone you want as an enemy”

You chuckled bitterly, “Yeah because otherwise you’d be fucking obsessed with me like you are with the Kim’s”

He slammed his hand against the wheel. “Answer the damn question, Y/n”

“Getting ready for my engagement—which you crashed, by the way”

Jungkook’s tongue rolled against his cheek. “You didn’t want to marry Kim Taehyung, did you?” He needed to know. Needed to be sure you didn’t actually care for that man.

You grinned. “Why, you jealous?”

He looked you dead in the eye. “Yes”

That shut you up. Jungkook bit back a smile as you processed his response. “Enough with the attitude. Who was making you do this—was it Jin?”

You groaned, tugging at your handcuffs in irritation. “No, it was Namjoon.”

Jungkook pursed his lips. That wasn’t true. He debated if he should tell you now or wait until you reached the precinct so you could see it with your own eyes. He had hard evidence that painted Namjoon even more so as the culprit.

Jin wanted you to marry Taehyung.

Namjoon didn’t.

⟶ One Day before the Murder ⟵

The scratch of a record. A soft echo of jazz filled the glass walls as Namjoon stood, staring out the window. The 52nd floor. Looking out at people scurrying in the dark, small as ants, truly meaningless. His employees thought he was given this office, unaware of the blood spilt for him to truly position himself as the inheritor of Kim Enterprises.

Namjoon was forged in the shadows of the charming, alluring Kim Seokjin. And Kim Seokjin was gold—magazines chased him, models threw themselves at him, colleges begged for him to attend. To the world, Jin was perfect. Which meant Namjoon had to ascend perfection.

So he did.

Jin would spend his nights partying while Namjoon would study hard. Seokjin would sleep around while Namjoon ran for miles. Seokjin would get lost in the limelight, drugs, alcohol, sex—Namjoon abstained. He was focused on one thing: he wanted his throne.

The 52nd floor was his right. The cage he had built for himself. Here he was untouchable.

Here he felt, absolutely broken. Alone. Moreso because he had spent the day preparing for your wedding. His heart ached inside his chest. He wanted to vomit. Each time he’d see your name on a wedding card or an article, he felt like he was getting brutally stabbed in the chest.

You probably didn’t know. Of course you didn’t—but Namjoon had grown truly fond of you lately. Jin had moved out at a young age, wanting to freely bring home sexual partners. You and Namjoon remained living at the Kim mansion for a few years now. The two of you had a banter—ever since the night he took advantage of you, he knew you no longer had feelings for him. He had seen the way you changed after that. While he was ridden with guilt, the hurt made you blossom into someone else entirely. You became confident, sexy, and never let a day go by that Namjoon didn’t regret treating you better.

He kept you at a distance because he needed to stay focused, but things were getting too real now. You were getting married.

You were leaving him.

And he only recently admitted to himself that he loved living with you. He loved the way you would bug him while he worked. Loved the way you would throw little tantrums when you couldn’t figure out what to wear, or after a shopping spree you would come home and try on everything for him, ignoring anything he would have to say. He would miss walking past your room to see you lying on your sheets, blanket on the floor, pillow tucked in your hold—sound asleep. He’d pick it up and cover you, admiring your face as he did.

“You’re thinking about her, aren’t you?”

Like a punch in the gut, Namjoon let out a sharp breath. Turning, he faced his college friend, Jung Hoseok.

Namjoon hated being vulnerable. So Hoseok was a great friend to have—because he was hardly ever in town, being a self-made supermodel. He was low risk. Disposable.

“No” Namjoon grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. Hoseok chuckled, seating himself on Namjoon’s desk chair. He was wearing a bright blue jumpsuit—hair a shocking silver white.

“I can’t tell you how many bets I have that you’d fall for her one day. Damn, I’m gonna be rich”

Namjoon rolled his eyes, “I didn’t fall for her. I don’t give a shit about her”

Hoseok scoffed, “Mhm, sure. What I don’t get is why this fucking wedding is happening. You’re the heir now can’t you call it off? Don’t marry the woman you love off to your brother, that’s just fucked up man”

There were many times he wanted to tell you the truth. But he had worked too hard to give up his dream for you. When his mother died, Jin had agreed to surrender his birth-right to the company on two conditions.

“In exchange for the company, one of the things I had to promise Jin was that this marriage would happen”

Hoseok raised his eyebrows. “Really?” He rubbed his chin, “Interesting. What’s that about?”

Namjoon shrugged, turning back to the window. It was something he often wondered. If Jin cared about you so much—why would he force you to have an arranged marriage? To Taehyung, of all people. Taehyung who none of them had seen for over ten years. Taehyung whose whereabouts only Jin knew. And his mother, of course.

“I don’t know. But I agreed” And he knew you wouldn’t forgive him for that if you knew. He rolled his neck, denying the tears building in his eyes as he thought about you in a wedding dress, walking down the aisle next to him as he let you go. Forever.

He didn’t want your hand to leave his. He wanted to be on the other side. He wanted you to come towards him.

“What was the other condition?” Hoseok’s voice shattered his fantasy.

“He wanted to keep Nexus—Y/n’s mom’s company that my mother got in the will. I didn’t give a shit about it so.”

Hoseok raised his eyebrows, smirking slightly. “Nexus, huh” He mumbled under his breath. Licking his lips, he pulled out his phone. “Kim Seokjin—just what are you up to you little bastard?”

Namjoon pulled out a cigarette from his breast pocket, lighting it quietly. Taking a quick puff, he exhaled the smoke.

"I can't let her do this" His voice was hoarse. "I can't do this to her. She deserves to choose"

Hoseok rolled his eyes, standing up and walking besides Namjoon. Pulling the cigarette from his fingers, he grinned widely.

"I thought you’re the smart one, Namjoon. Jin's the problem. Get rid of him"

It wasn't as if the idea never crossed his mind. Namjoon hated Jin. Everything about Jin make him want to vomit, and yet, this was a line he couldn't cross.

Could he?

-

“All in”

Jin cursed inwardly. Your long fingernails traced along the edge of your cards, eyes flickering between your hand and the man in front of you. Dim casino lights accentuating the glitter on your lids, the pop of your lush lips which were grinning ever so slightly. You always looked gorgeous to him but tonight you were something else entirely.

His breath was heavy, palms sweating as he clenched his fists in desperation to keep it together. To keep his hands off. You blinked his way, innocently as if you were unaware of the teasingly low cut of your dress. The spill of your chest as you pushed your chips towards him.

As if that wasn’t enough. You laid your cards down right in front of him. Sliding them across the table. Pair of kings.

Jin didn’t even care. You would always win. And he loved that about you. It was as though you knew his thoughts before he even had them, always one step ahead, reading between the lines. You were a force to be reckoned with ever since Jin first took you to a backroom poker game years ago. With pride he’d observe your nonchalance—sending bratty chaebols running to their mother’s in tears after you swindled them out of their trust funds.

Seeing you at the table was something else. When you were in your element, your eyes would light up with a fierce blaze. With a slight of hand, you turned thousands into millions overnight. But you were never in it for the money.

You were in it for the kill.

“Fuck this, come here” Tossing his own cards aside, he beckoned for you to come to him. He needed to touch you. He couldn’t hold back.

Grabbing your wrist, he pulled you into his lap. Your scent was intoxicating. Familiar, and yet addictive. He placed his lips softly against your neck. You giggled, pulling away but he wasn’t about to let that happen.

“When did you get so pretty?” His finger trailed up your neck, tilting your chin up. Things had been tense between the two of you. The soft touches, the lingering stares—he was flirting with you. He knew he was, but he wanted to. So badly he wanted to tease you, rile you up and watch you unfold. It had taken every ounce of his self-restraint not to touch you in the shower that morning—something which hadn’t left his mind since.

“I’ve always been pretty” Your response was cocky, as expected. “You’re usually too drunk to notice”

“That” He nipped at your jaw between each word, making you giggle in the process “Is not true”

He allowed his fingers to aimlessly brush against your thighs. He looked at you enticingly, nothing but mischief on his mind. He pinched the fabric of your dress between his fingers, wanting to tear the damn thing off. Your hand covered his, halting him in his tracks.

“Tell me you don’t like it and I’ll stop” He sighed into your skin, tongue licking under your jaw. Your sweet skin was addicting to taste, and it didn’t help that he could feel you trembling in his hold. You were confused, he knew you were. But he could see that you wanted him. He could feel it.

He hugged you closer—chest to chest, feeling the drum of your heart on his. He wanted to fuck you so bad it hurt. He was so sure he had never been attracted to you this way. Of course he loved you, there was never any question about it. But you had been like a sister to him your whole life. Lately he found himself wanting you in a way he shouldn’t. He couldn’t.

Because you were getting engaged to his younger brother. And he had known that all along.

“Jin,” Your voice was barely a whisper, “Why?” It was a valid question. One he was not ready to answer. His advances had hardly been subtle.

“You said I wasn’t giving you enough attention. So here we are. Just me…” His finger trailed up your thigh, “you” From the table, he pulled out a single card, twisted between two fingers which he slid down the side of your face before pulling it away so sharply, a drop of blood trickled from your cheek.

“And a deck of cards” He leaned in, lips brushing against the tiny cut in a soft peck.

“Stop fucking around Jin” Standing up from his lap, you looked him dead in the eye. “I’m getting married to Taehyung. Your brother, who you love.”

Jin tilted his head in irritation. He absolutely hated being told no, it wasn’t something he typically had to deal with. Frustration boiled in his veins, the confusion so overwhelming it made his head spin.

The reality that he was falling for you. Hard.

He gulped, staring at you. Eyes softening as silence filled the air. He felt choked, throat gripping in anticipation of what he should say next—if he would actually say what he knew you both were feeling out loud.

There was a knock on the door. Instinctively, Jin grabbed your wrist, holding it firmly.

“Mr. Kim, you have a phone call”

The door opened, allowing one of Jin’s guards to walk in and hand him his cell. You motioned to excuse yourself, mouthing the word 'bathroom'.

Jin nodded, pressing the cell to his ear.

“Mr. Kim,”

The distorted voice through the phone gave him chills. His heart pounded through his head, veins pulsing with anger.

“Did you forget about me?”

He glanced at his guard—whose eyes were questioning him with worry. He tensed his shoulders before nodding at his guards softly, indicating for them to act accordingly.

“You’re making this too easy Kim. Shouldn’t leave your most prized possession unattended. I could just snap her pretty neck”

Jin could only hear his own racing pulse. Anxiety gripping his chest with desperation—you couldn’t be in danger. He had no idea the chaos that would ensue if there was even a scratch on your body under his watch.

“Then again, I’d much rather snap yours”

Jin lunged forward, a mere millisecond before a bullet shot through, piercing his guard in the gut. The man fell over, not before two more guards arrived in a panic. Blood began to pool on the dark red carpet. It was almost despicable how the color matched.

Jin felt dizzy, his body acting purely on instinct where his mind simply couldn’t catch up. He could feel a heaviness in his throat, but now was not the time. Where were you—you went to the bathroom—he had to get you out of here— and so he ran. Faster than he ever had. Mind empty except for the need to keep you safe.

Slipping quickly through the hall, Jin rushed over to the bathroom, locked from the inside. He pounded against the door, a sweat breaking across his forehead. What if—no. Don’t think like that.

He shuddered, imagining the worst. Throwing himself at the door, he screamed out in frustration.

“Y/n!” He never used your name. Not unless it was serious. “It’s me, we need to go, now” He paused, catching his breath as he heard the lock click from the inside. The door swung open and there you were, a disoriented look on your face.

“What’s going on—” Without so much as a second thought, Jin grabbed your wrist, pulling you through a back exit—ignoring the blaring fire alarms that went off as he kicked the door open. His guards pulled a car around.

Settling in the back seat with you glued to his side, he barked at his guards “Safehouse, now”

He was trembling. Not even realizing how tightly he was still holding your hand. So lost that he didn’t hear you calling his name frantically—“Jin what the fuck is going on?”

A shaky exhale left his lips at your words. Almost out of sheer desperation he turned, pulling you into his lap where he cupped your face. You were so close. Close enough that he could almost taste the sweat on your neck. You held him, allowing his hands to roam your body in assurance that you were alive. That you were okay.

He tried not to entertain the thought. To appreciate that you had survived, but his mind couldn’t help but wander as he gazed into your sweet eyes—what the fuck would he have done if something had happened to you?

His eyes shifted from your eyes to your lips. He gulped. He needed you. Tempted to slam his lips onto yours, but instead just breathing you in, letting his eyelashes brush against your face. Holding you in a tight embrace. Tears rolling down his face.

It was as though in that moment, everything became so clear. For a moment he swore that nothing made more sense than you in his arms. You consumed him. You were a fever, he woke up burning, went asleep in sweats—he craved you, like a man on the brink of insanity. If this was love, he wanted to drown in it. He couldn’t breathe—not if you weren’t besides him. You were beautiful, flawed, and simply everything he ever wanted.

“I can’t—”

He choked on a sob, looking at you again. There was more said in those two simple words. Everything he needed to communicate, and he knew you would understand “Princess, I can’t”

The tears fell harder. His walls came crashing down, all he had held back seemed to overflow. The fear of losing you triggering so many pent up emotions that he couldn’t take it. His body trembled.

“Fuck” He cried out in frustration, almost tasting your lips against his own. Fingers tightly intertwined in your hair. He didn’t have it in him anymore. He couldn’t hold back.

Except he had to.

“Jin,” Your tone shifted. He understood it—it was pleading. Your eyes were wide with confusion, with want. Your lips—your sweet lips, he could only image how amazing they would feel. The world would fade away in an instant and he would be lost in your touch. He would kiss you everywhere. All night long. He would never let go.

His breath was shaky, cutting his desire to cry harder. Letting his eyes fall shut, he pushed you off of him, turning his back towards you. He could hear you scoff and swore his heart shattered. He didn’t want to hurt you. He was equally perplexed at how quickly his love for you and surfaced within the past few days. It had been there all along, but now that you were forbidden, it came pouring out of his every move.

He shook his head. There was no point in starting something that couldn’t be finished. If he were honest with you, you would end up getting hurt in the worst way possible. If you knew all the lies he had told you, all the secrets he kept. All the ways in which he used you as a puppet for his own gain. Jin wasn’t proud of who he was. And surely, you deserved better.

“I’m sorry” The words hung heavy in the thick, disappointing silence. The tension throbbing in his veins as the drive continued on in the dark night.

The second the car pulled into the safehouse, you pushed yourself off of him—jumping out of the car. Jin followed as you began to run—grabbing your wrist before you could.

“Let go of me” You hissed, tugging at his grip.

“No” With a jerk of his arm he pulled you towards him.

Cricked chirped in the dead of the night—there was no living soul for miles. The stars shone brightly through the chilly wind and there you were.

Kissing him.

“Tell me about the dice”

Back & forth. The steady creaking of the bed as the patient sat, curled up into himself. Across the room Jimin sat, waiting, observing. The patient was staring into the palm of his hand. Two red die, rolling around in his palm.

He had been at it for a while, not uttering a single word. But Jimin was trained for this. He was nothing if not patient. He could dig at his patient for hours until he would get them to bend to his will. Persistence, determination, delayed gratification, these things came to him easily.

Jimin cleared his throat, “Nurses are telling me you throw a fit when they try to take those away from you. It must bring you a lot of comfort”

The patient continued to ignore him.

“I understand you are very fond of playing cards” Jimin flipped through his files. “Want to tell me about that? Do you like gambling?”

The patient stilled his wrist, closing his long fingers over the dice. “She gave them to me”

Jimin raised his eyebrows. Finally. He was breaking through to him. He was so close to getting what he needed he was practically salivating. So close to getting all the information he needed.

He set his notebook aside, resting his elbows on his knees. He looked at his patient with sincerity. He was careful with the way he spoke, never wanting his patients to feel patronized, judged or scrutinized. He needed his patients to trust him. To confide in him without holding anything back.

“Why don’t you tell me about her, Taehyung?”
