Tips on how to talk to the dead.

This one I am still a little unsure if I should post it or not, but since there will be people with strong medium powers or are very sensitive to energy frequencies, I figured I might as well put my thoughts into words so that I can give tips on how to do it as safely as possible.

First of all you should be excited and honored that you will be talking to someone from the other side, and also be cautious at the same time because there are some beings on that same dimensional frequency that aren't as friendly as your dear-dead-grandpa who'd most likely be the one to pop up. No, there are far more dangerous things beyond the veil between the dead and the living, and if you're not careful you could end up in trouble like unknowingly inviting bad spirits into your home. (That's how some hauntings start out.)

Secondly, you'll need a sense of control over the situation. Now what do I mean by that? It's a little complicated to explain but the main idea is to become the driver of the situation. So let's say you've come into contact with a dead loved one, you'll need to make sure that you're calm enough to keep the psychic connection strong so you can talk with them, but also bold enough to firmly, in your mind, say, "I am here to talk to (insert loved one's name) and no one else. And anyone else who interrupts will be dealt with." Of course, you need to mean it. Be the driver of your medium-ship.

And lastly, have fun but be respectful towards the dead but don't be a doormat. If they disrespect you or cross a boundary you've clearly set up.

A spell jar is a jar practitioners fill with ingredients like herbs, spices, crystals, dirt, or whatever fits their purpose to create a spell. The spell is placed in the jar, sealed, and activated. It can be put really anywhere while it’s being used to cast.
