The leaning giant. 2 months into carving, finishing up branching and moving to foliage. With trees that are a couple hundred years old and above, every branch has its own character after weathering multiple storms, droughts, and breakages.

Limnanthes
The flower at the center of the red-tailed hawk is Limnanthes vinculans, endemic to our area. The leaves in the background are based on the buckeye forests. The butterflies are California sisters, which are common here, but very beautiful.
