I have spent years documenting as many old growth trees in our watershed as I can and this is still one of my favorite trees and it still pulls me in every time I see it.

At a time when gentrification in the Bay was in mid swing and this collective, without any doubt in my mind, fostered a community of the artists/printmakers that were some how able hang on during this tumultuous change. Still one of my favorite pictures I took during that time.
