Any advice on expressions and poses? They are so hard to me and yours look amazing and natural
thank you! and sorry for replying late, I’m bad at thinking advice ;; but I can recommend some good tutorials and advice that has helped me!
for expressions: x x x
for poses: x x x (えびも’s work also covers perspective which is 👌👌)
these are the first that I could remember, but do check on their profiles and more because you might find even more great advice. If someone else has recommendations please do say!
also remember that learning is awesome, but having fun is better; please have fun learning and drawing more!
Do you have any advice on what to look for when applying to art schools?
1) look at their alumni, and if the work coming out of their program is the kind of quality/work you’re looking for
2) check out their classes and see how many are foundational and how much of your time is actually going to be dedicated to your major
3) talk to alumni and representatives and get their outlook on the school (alumni are more helpful here)
Additionally, you could possibly look at what kinds/quality of portfolios are being accepted. See if there’s a high/low standard and if the alumni demonstrate a clear sign of improving upon their graduation. Do this for as many people as you can find!
Good luck Anon!
