I get something similar when I have my anxiety attacks. It is like my brain scrambles and it is hard to get any really clear thoughts. Because I can’t get many clear thoughts I basically stop talking all together. Speech becomes incredibly difficult. I can’t take in too much sensory information at once when it is happening so I usually stare at a fixed point and—if they are available—put in my headphones and blast music so that I can’t hear anything else. I get very sensitive to touch too, but I will do a repetitive motion. Like playing with a necklace, bracelet, purse string, etc. Any small thing available... but other people cannot touch me.

That teacher sounds awful. I’m sorry you had to experience that.

Hey does anyone experience having an internal panic attack? Like where you freeze up and can’t do anything and you go deaf and you can’t touch anything? Is this weird? When I was in 6th grade my teacher asked me to read something and i did that and she sent me to the Isolation Room for 30 minutes because I was disrespectful. Anyways I just want to know if this is a common experience
