Period Bath Ritual

Period Bath Ritual

Materials

A candle to represent femininity

A candle to represent masculinity(optional; I use this to help with my dysphoria)

A yellow candle to represent positivity

Aloe

Your favorite bath salts

A bubble bath

Instructions

Draw a warm bubble bath with your favorite bath salts.

Add some aloe vera to your bath and stir with intention.

Get in and light the candles on the side of your bath.

Meditate in your bath. Stay in as long as you'd like to take time to enjoy yourself.

Once done, dry off and find a nice place to lie down(nude or clothed).

Arrange the candles around you in whichever way you like and meditate with them for a while. Once done, snuff out your candles and clean out your tub. Take time to rest and hopefully you're period will be a bit lighter now.

🩸 Period Self-care for Witches 🩸

 Period Self-care For Witches

Periods can be unbearable, so here are a few witch tips to help people who menstruate…

🍵 Drink tea with lemon, ginger and honey to soothe cramps and relieve pain.

🕯️ Light a red candle, stare at the flame and meditate about your body’s strength and power.

🚪 Protect your house from unwanted energies or spirits, by burying a few drops of menstrual blood close to your front door.

💦 Apply warm water to alleviate your pain, using a warm bath or a hot water bottle.

📔 Keep a diary of your cycle to take note of how you feel, the current moon cycle, and the dreams you have at night.

🖌️ Explore sigil magic using your menstrual blood to increase power and intention.

🛏️ Rest your body and soul. Having your period can be emotionally and physically draining, so take it easy.

Womb-healing potion for painful periods

I’ve always had a bad relationship with my uterus and my period cramps are a fine depiction of it. As I try to love my womb, understand it and heal it, I still experience horrible periods, and I know a lot of us do. So I have perfected my own potion to not simply cast a spell but try and perpetually heal my uterus and our connection, one period at a time.

It should heal symptoms such as:

Cramps

Headaches

Foul mood (sadness, melancholy, anger, despair)

Lack of energy

image

Ingredients:

Cinnamon: happiness and healing.

Thyme: healing herb, health, courage, strength; banishes melancholy, negative vibrations, feelings of despair and hopelesness.

Ginger: natural anti-inflammatory, gets rid of cramps by relieving pressure

Lavender (in any form you may find): relaxation, peaceful dreams, purification, love; banishes, stress and headaches.

Cardamom: femenine energy, Venus, water signs (emotions), relaxes body, clears the mind and relieves indigestion.

Add to:

Boiling milk for nightime (sweet, calming and sleep-inducing. I add some vanilla extract for extra sweetness)

Boiling black tea for daytime (femenine energy, vitalizing, improves mood and activity, banishes negativity)

In order to prepare it with intent, feel your pain and visualize it fading away as you stirr clockwise, then communicate with the potion (you don’t need to be vocal) asking for healing, as you stirr counter-clockwise. I personally find myself begging very openly to ease my pain and grant my womb some peace.

Let it sit and then strain.

I recommend preparing it the moment before you drink it, instead of stocking it away for later, but it depends on how you feel your own intent. I also added dry white roses to the one in the pictures.

Bath Magic

I thought I’d make a little reference post for what to add to your bath for whatever troubles you.

I find it not only relaxing but very helpful to add herbs to my bath, along with stones. of course, take out any stones and large pieces of plant matter before draining the tub. You may also use a strainer that can speed up the cleaning.

I also would like to touch on this, while I do offer suggestions for emotional pain, and other problems, I only mean these to be used along with proper medical treatment. Please don’t use any of this as a substitute for medicine, therapy, or other medical treatment. Magic is never a substitute. Everything below is meant to be used in ADDITION to other means of help. I just really want to stress this.

Sleep Issues

Can’t get relaxed? Throw some lavender and/or chamomile in there

Having nightmares? Toss in some salt and a few sprigs of rosemary

Got too much energy to sleep? Put some onyx or jet in the bath. It will help ground you.

Emotional Issues:

Feeling down? Pluck the petals from a sunflower and toss them in. You can also add a cup of orange juice!

Lacking confidence?  Add in some rosemary, thyme and some basil.

Needing some comfort? Rose Quartz, sage and vanilla can do some good.

Anxiety? Add some onyx and some lavender.

Got alot of negativity in your life? Take a nice milk bath.

Dealing with loss of loved one? This one is best to do at night, but you could add rose quartz, wheat and mistletoe.

Had your heart broken? Jade, cinnamon and violets.

Other Issues:

Having trouble communicating with someone? Daisies, dandelion, lavender and allspice can be of aid

Trying to overcome a creative block? Peppermint, jasmine and cinnamon might get the wheels turning.

Having family trouble? Lapis Lazuli and rose petals in the bath may help develop solutions.

Trying to get pregnant? Pine needles, sage, rose petals and lemon balm will not only smell incredible, but may just help.

Alright guys!!! I really hope you like and hopefully this helps someone out :) Spent a while on it so if you like it, or want a second part please reblog or like :)
