Gai x Yua (Campus AU)

Suatu ketika seorang mahasiswa dari jurusan bisnis baru saja selesai kelas, dia ingin beristirahat di asrama sekalian mencari makanan untuk mengisi perutnya yang sudah kosong, sesampainya di asrama mahasiswa itu samar-samar mendengar seseorang yang sedang menangis. Sumber suaranya dari kolong meja makan, sebenarnya dia berusaha untuk tidak peduli namun rasanya tidak enak … masalahnya dia berada di ruangan yang sama dengannya terlebih lagi dia berniat untuk memasak di dapur. Kan ga enak masak sambil dengerin orang nangis.

Mahasiswa itu menaruh tasnya ke atas meja, lalu berjongkok. Ternyata benar orang yang sedang nangis adalah adik tingkatnya. Entahlah apa yang dinangisin, dia memang suka melihatnya nangis di bawah meja makan ketika pulang ke asrama.

“Yua, kenapa? Dimarahin sama kating lagi?” tanyanya lembut.

Mahasiswi yang dipanggil Yua olehnya itu mengangkat kepalanya, wajahnya basa dengan air mata. “Berisik.” Setelah itu dia kembali menenggelamkan wajahnya diantara dua kaki.

“Aku kan peduli sama kamu, pas aku biarin kamu waktu itu, besoknya kamu marah sama aku.” Dia menghela nafas berat.

Yua kembali mengangkat kepalanya, raut wajahnya sangat kusut. “Berisik, kalo lu mau bikin makan sono aja!”

Niat untuk berbaik hati dan mendengar curhatan malah disemprot, kesel sih … tapi ya sifatnya emang kaya gitu terkahir kali dia pernah ditampar sama Yua gara-gara ga sengaja megang dadanya ketika dirinya menahan tubuh Yua tidak terjatuh pas Yua kepeleset di tangga terus dia marah seminggu.

“Kenapa lu belum pergi dari hadapan gua?”

“Aku ingin tau kenapa kamu nangis … sudah dua hari kamu menangis di bawah meja makan.”

Yua memandang kesal, menggembungkan kedua pipinya. “Sesuai apa yang lu katakan tadi … dimarahin sama kating.”

“Ututututu dimarahin.” Tangannya mengelus kepala Yua pelan.

“Tuhkan pasti respon lu kaya gitu.”

“Terus aku harus gimana?”

Yua merentangkan kedua tangannya ke depan. Tidak ada reaksi setelah Yua melakukan hal itu, lirikan matanya perlahan bergerak ke arah kanan.

“Udah ah mau nangis la-“

Grep, si mahasiswa menarik tangan Yua ke dalam pelukannya, Yua benar-benar terkejut, tidak percaya dengan perlakuannya. Kepalanya juga dielus dengan lembut olehnya.

“Udah jangan nangis, kalau kamu kesusahan dengan tugasnya aku akan membantumu dengan senang hati.”

Yua mengangkat kedua tangannya, dia memeluk balik si mahasiswa itu. Hangat … sweater putihnya benar-benar membuat dirinya hatinya hangat. Tiba-tiba saja suasana ini berubah ketika seserang nyeletuk ketika melihat si mahasiswa memeluk Yua. Orang itu teman satu kelasnya.

“Gai ngapain lu disana? Ngemesum lu dibawah meja?”

Otomatis dia langsung melepas pelukannya pada Yua, sampai-sampai punggung Yua bertabrakan dengan kaki meja dengan keras.

“Ku-Kuroto … ngapain, ngapain lu disini?!”

“Gua kan tinggal di asrama juga, dan gua mau bikin makan.”

“AARRRGHHH! PUNGGUNG GUA SAKIT BEGO!” Yua keluar dari kolong meja.

“Hohoho … bahan pedekatean lu ngamuk.”

“BERISIK KUROTO!”

“HAHAHAHAHA!” Kuroto lari ke depan kulkas menghindari tendangan yang dilayangkan ke arahnya.

Yua berjalan keluar ruangan sambil menghentak-hentakkan kakinya.

“SYIALAN LU KUROTO! TANGGUNG JAWAB!”

“HAHAHAHAAHA! MAMPUS LUH!”

Kalau sudah begini Gai akan kembali down dan nilai juga ikut berpengaruh, Kuroto tahu mengenai hal itu, menghilangkan rival dari arena pertempuran itu penting sebelum pertempuran itu dimulai.

Just putting out a small promo for my side project which I’ve been doing for the past 2 months.

I’ve really come to love Tokiya’s butai actor, Matsumura Ryunosuke, and considering his blog is really fun to read (he’s often poking fun at himself in the tags) and interesting to learn about him, his job and the people he works with, I’m translating it.

My main goal is just to translate new entries as he writes them, but my second goal is to translate all the blogs from 2018 that are related to Gekidan Shining: Joker Trap, Shining Revue, Polaris and Tabimate.

I don’t claim to be fluent, but it’s fun, helps me learn. Feel free to check it out if you’re interested.

Kamen Rider Ryuki Novel: Chapter 1 Summary

Due to demand, I’ve decided to do chapter-by-chapter summaries of the Kamen Rider Ryuki novel, writen by Inoue Toshiki. Strap in, you guys. This is gonna be horrible.

Scene 1 Akiyama Ren enters the Mirror World as Kamen Rider Knight. We are treated to a detailed description of his Rider suit as well as the concept of the Mirror World itself. He soon encounters Kamen Rider Scissors, and the two of them battle. They are interrupted by Kido Shinji (Ryuki), who tells them the entire Rider War is ridiculous and they need  to stop. Ren flees from the Mirror World. Scene 2 Ren returns to his apartment, where Kanzaki Yui is staying. They have sex.. (Yeah….) Afterwards, they reminisce about their childhoods together. In particular, they talk about how Yui was good at cat’s cradle, and Ren was horrible at it. After Yui falls asleep, Ren returns to the Mirror World from a mirror in his bedroom. Scene 3 Back in the Mirror World, Ren encounters Shinji again. We learn that they have also encountered eachother in the real world too, and Shinji is stubborn on trying to get Ren to stop fighting. They duo encounter Scissors once more. Him and Ren fight until dealing his final move which bursts a hole through Scissor’s chest. He explodes. Ren and Shinji argue, and Ren attacks Shinji.  Scene 4 We are suddenly given a flashback of what Shinji was up to before entering the Mirror World (the first time, in Scene 1). He was out eating okonimiyaki with Kirishima Miho. She jokes that he’s the type of guy to kick a girl out of bed after blowing his load. (I’m so sorry for wording it this way but i don’t know how else to get the same effect. LMAO) Shinji gets flustered and upset and tells her not to word it that way. He said if he got with a girl he liked he would treat her very kindly. She responds by saying “How should I word it then? Just say sex?” which makes Shinji get more angry and flustered. He tells her she needs to stop with her marriage scamming, saying it’s wrong. She questions if he’s ever even been with a girl. He says he has, but the truth is, he hasn’t. His righteousness pisses her off and she quickly pays the bill and leaves. He runs outside to catch up with her but only upsets her more, and she runs away. Shinji realizes that she snatched his wallet, and takes off after her again. At this point, he sees Ren and Scissors fighting in the Mirror World from a reflection in a window. He goes in to stop them. Scene 5 The fight from Scene 3 continues, with more arguments about why all of this fighting is wrong. The two continue to bicker until their time limit is almost up. Ren flees back into the real world using a car’s sideview mirror. END OF CHAPTER 1 (Feel free to tell me what you think. It’s only going downhill from here.)
