Tagged by @sweetlyfez - Tagging @mask131 (no pressure, just thought I'd throw it out to one of the other people I've ended up chatting with on here if you feel up for it :)
last song: Sirencore, by Banshee
currently watching: Dungeon Meshi/Delicious in Dungeon (had a couple of days off and decided to treat ourselfs to a month of Netflix, mostly because I want to watch Nimona & Sonic 2...)
Also slowly working our way through the Showa Gamera films...
three ships: HanaMusa, Appealshipping (Dawn & Zoe), maybe Windblade & Chromia, or Jetfire & Starscream? It's impossible doing a search for transformers ships (for obvious reasons), and so many of the relationships in the IDW comics were perfect...
favorite color: Purple. No, orange. *gets catapulted into the abyss*
currently consuming: No caffeine pepsi max (living it up!)
first ship: Honestly, I've been aware of shipping for years, but I feel like HanaMusa is the first ship I've actually felt invested in (entirely down to @yamujiburo!)
place of birth: England, sorry, that's all you're getting for now 😉
current location: Still here, sitting at my PC, next to my husband and my cat 🐈⬛
relationship status: Married
last movie: Babylon 5: The Road Home (it was fun!)
currently working on: Time for a bullet list;
A battle jacket, with a bunch of band and pride patches to add to it (this will be getting bandied around on tumblr when I've finished it!); will probably be making some custom patches depending on how much space I have left on there!
A squad of 28mm Napoleonic French light infantry, 90% basecoated (and sitting on my desk for the last 6 months), just need to push through the block and get them finished so I can start painting more exciting things...
This week's @maniculum bestiaryposting challenge...
At least two songs (need to finish the lyrics, bear in mind that I've never written a song in my life, so things could get interesting when I get to the music side of things...)
A lego beetle (gift from husband :)
Bonus content!
Currently reading:
Moby Dick by Herman Melville (wasn't aware of Whale Weekly when I started reading, though I seem to be keeping rough pace!)
Dinopedia by Darren Naish (honestly, one of the most accessible - and relatively inexpensive - up to date summaries of knowledge about dinosaurs I've found)
Fourth-wall-breaking video game setting whose inhabitants are aware that only cutscene death is permanent, and have thus developed an elaborate system of customs and taboos to avoid accidentally triggering cutscenes in their daily lives. People have some intrinsic knowledge of whether the cutscene flag has been set, but they don't necessarily know why, nor are they automatically aware of whether they're one of the focus characters or whether they just happen to be in the vicinity, allowing for a wide variety of murder-mystery bullshit.
Happy Pollinator week to the Baltic Isopod, the first underwater pollinator discovered by science! Lab studies imply that their activities help pollinate seagrass and macroalgea. Is there anything isopods can't do?
Gender Selector Update 2.3
Hello, we at genderselectors.org.gov.com try to give our customers the best way to ask someone for their gender on their website.
In the past we just had a drop down menu with male or female but we quickly realized that this didn't cover every option.
We tried many things like giving the user the option to upload a custom gender up to 10MB. However that only led to people uploading a zip file containing the first doom game.
Then we tried to give them the option to enter a custom text. However this again only led to people writing 'ACAB'.
Now we have finally found the perfect solution
By letting the user select how male, female and gay they are we can cover every gender identity without letting the user break the form.
Thank you for your attention the role out will begin tomorrow.
