Bokuto x reader: How he would react to you not wanting to cuddle at the moment.

A/n: Hello everyone, this is my first time ever writing a fanfiction/scenario thing? And I never thought I would do a haikyuu one but here we are. I made this at like 3:00 in the morning, so please don't judge if you think it's bad. I went for the more "realistic" side of things. So this fanfic is about how he respects the fact that you don't wanna have physical contact all the time. I also proof read this as many times as possible to make sure the grammar was some what good. Shout out to my friend who also helped me proofread and gave me tips. If you would like please give me your input about it, I wouldn't mind reading them.

You realized that it was getting late out. Bokuto should be home soon, you two bought a house awhile back with you’re combined income. You went to your shared bedroom and decided to get dressed in you pj's, doing your nightly routine. As you were done you decided to head down into the basement where you guys had set up a very small in-home movie theater. Nothing really fancy just 24-in TV with a roku, and a comfy loveseat that the you two had picked out. You grab the blanket as you sat down on the couch turning on whatever your favorite movie is. About 10 minutes into the movie you hear the front door open, seeing as the steps to the basement are right next to the front door, you could hear if someone were to enter.

"I'm home!" Bokuto yelled.

"I'm down here Hun." You said back.

You can hear his footsteps walking away as he went to the bedroom to get out of his gym clothes. As soon as he was ready for the night, he decided to come down and join you to see what you were up to.

"Hey Taro, I'm glad you made it back safe." You smile up at him as he walks over to you.

All of a sudden he starts to pull the blanket up from you, sits down very close and is wanting to cuddle. But today you've just been wanting your own bubble space.

Before he could say anything you interpret him.

"Ah Taro, is it okay If we cuddle sometime later? I'm really just not in the mood right now." You say to him gently because you know he can be an emotional cry baby sometimes, but you still love him.

"Oh! Yes of course you can dear, I'm perfectly fine with giving you space."

He moves over to the other side of the loveseat to give you some room.

It's good to know that you have someone who respects your personal boundaries, and doesn't get upset all the time when you say you want space.

You guys go on and talk about how the day has been for the both of you. Bokuto tells you about his day at work and that it was the same as usual. He then goes on about how his friends invited him to a near by gym so they could play some causal volleyball (but we all know that our beloved Bokuto could never waste an opportunity to show off his amazing skills). You then go on about your "amazing" day off and that you just did your fair share of chores. Even if your day wasn't the most eventful, Bokuto still listens to you with interest, asking about more things that happened.

After you two talk you both start to focus on the movie that is playing. You and Bokuto share a couple of laughs here and there, spending the night with each others company. You soon realized that it was very late and waking up early is a pain, so you start to tidy up the room while Bokuto follows suit. You both head up stairs to your shared room and hop in bed where Bokuto can finally get some consensual cuddles.

Let's start of with the nights.

They're pretty fun, exciting, but for the most part exhausting really.

A lot of breathing it's practically breath taking.

However they're hot.

Because when you sleep your body's core temperature (97.7–99.5 °F); drops a degree or two overnight. However this is merely just a natural response due to a lack of exposure to light and it lets your body know that it's time to rest.

So because of this you both would have to equally share blankets.

I feel like Yelena would prefer you take the blanket, however she's not stupid so when she says she's not cold. She's not cold.

This however can be rebutted because you wouldn't know whether or not she's telling the truth. After all she isn't real.

Anyways let's say you both encounter an unfortunate day. And you both decided to argue over the most dull-witted thing.

Just be prepared to know your facts.

Because Madame Yelena knows her facts and knowledge and will use it to her advantage.

However she may twist the facts a bit to be more in her favor so that it supports her claim better.

And why wouldn't she? Yelena has immense amount of knowledge.

She's your typical ethos and logos arguer/debater. Pathos can fuk off.

During the argument there’s no time to feel emotions so chose your words wisely or she will find a way to back fire your emotional words and statements coming at her with your own words in a more logical way.

Though that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t be thinking about you.

I haven't been on Tumblr in a while. But from the stuff I've seen about yelena x readers, so far, the content has been made for the female and non-binary peeps. And that's cool! But when it's stuff towards male readers, it seems like a problem to others? Idk, I can understand yelena from my pov seems like a lesbian, or bi, definitely. But what's wrong with including male Y/N's as well? From almost anything I've searched up of different fandoms, it's been directed towards female/non-binary audiences. And I personally think it's cool to see that there are things for the guys as well! And I understand that the creators of these fanfics from different Fandoms are either more comfortable with or haven't branched out into straight and gay men/non-binary fics. That's completely fine! All I'm saying is that I think it's nice to see more inclusiveness.

I apologize if this came off offensive. That was not my intention. I'm female and love Yelena! But I think it's cool to see people branching out to other audiences even if it's not a whole lot of people looking for said content. That's just my opinion, and I'm not trying to crap on others' opinions either, I just wanted to say what I had to say!
