This is from Eren’s dream in Episode 1 of the anime. As we all know it differs from the manga, and with Chapter 89, it’s safe to say it may have been a message from the future (considering he also sees Carla getting eaten in this same dream). However, is it just a random windmill inside the Walls with the obvious “Oh okay, Titans will break in, we know that already”? No, I don’t think so.

I’m going over the editing of Part 3 right now and I found this during re-reading:

This is Sasha’s village. And.. this is the only place in the manga where I’ve conveniently seen a windmill be placed. Could it be that the dream was a warning for the Clash of the Titans arc? @guyinlovewitheremika already pointed out that it’s not exactly the same as you don’t see the rest of the houses around the windmill, and this windmill is made of wood instead of stone. However, I still think this is appropriate.

Guy also pointed out that Sasha pointed out that her village was relatively new, so it’s possible the windmill was one of the few structures standing at the time. Very interesting to think about, but it would be appropriate and for the record, satisfying if this was actually intended. We’ll see.
