It's True About Hollywood Always Missing The Point. Good Example: Jaws. I Studied Jaws In Scriptwriting
It's true about Hollywood always missing the point. Good example: Jaws. I studied Jaws in scriptwriting courses as an example of a wildly popular script. The reason, according to my teachers (and I agree) is that the relationships and characters are so compelling. You care about whether the characters die! Hollywood's takeaway was "let's make a bazillion one-word-title movies about monster-creatures eating people who are generic, uninteresting characters." Bet you can't name more than two now.
into the spiderverse was a really good movie but that did not mean we needed every single production company to make a new multiverse

Overall today has been a good day at work except it's been nonstop and I am WORN OUT
I had my dreams
They floated and sank
They are still at the bottom
Decaying
No longer needed, but not gone.
You may have noticed that nobody bothers to check Lucy or Arthur’s blood type prior to the transfusion in today’s entry.
While blood transfusions weren’t anything new even in 1897 (the first successful blood transfusion recorded was in 1665), the discovery of different blood types wasnt made until 1901-1927 by Karl Landsteiner, who later won a Nobel Prize in physiology and medicine for his work on this topic.
Until Landsteiner, it was a mystery why some transfusions were successful and others fatal.
There would be a very good chance that Arthur’s blood would kill Lucy instead of helping her, but obviously Bram Stoker had no way of knowing that. Lucy is just very lucky at the moment to have a good match as a donor
The utter inadequacy of any adaptations, film and stage, to represent the devastation of watching Lucy's destruction. I'M JUST. UGH
I love Miette but for me I hear Gunter from Sing.
idk if it's only me but every time Van Helsing speaks i think of Miette.
"he will go outside to smoke the cigarette" sorry but that's Miette speak.
