uneventful day (16/12/23)🌟
today all i did was essentially study and repeat study and repeat in loop i'm really so tired and I feel like i'm missing all the christmas atmosphere 😔
things I did today:
wash and skincare🧚♀️
studied a lot for the infectious diseases exam I'M SO FULL OF IT I JUST CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE (i really hope to pass or if I have to fail i'll hope to fail within 10 am so I can go back home AND SLEEP🦠
went to church with family⛪️
finished just one or two japanese lessons on duolingo i was just too tired 🇯🇵
now I have to workout (cyclette), shower, get my hair washed and decide an outfit for tomorrow. hopefully my family and I will go on a trip out of town just for tomorrow and i'm really excited👪
also, i wanted to go to seventeen event in the movie theater but there wasn't any available cinema near here

getting on track after academic burnout ୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅ ☆
( def. ) Academic burnout happens due to a mix of work and home life pressures. Common symptoms of burnout include a feeling of being unable to keep up, feeling overwhelmed, and exhausted, being unable to sleep and feeling anxious.
i made this post because I also recently had to go through one , and this is how I got back on track !
1. realise ♡‧₊.
academic burnouts can happen to the best of us. in this year of me taking studying seriously , i never experienced it until last week and i honestly thought something was wrong with me . i wasnt able to focus at all and even doing homework felt like a chore , it took me a while but i understood that i was burnt out ; the reason ? i overworked myself 3 weeks prior because of tests ! i became mentally tired
accepting you're just burnt out is super important ! i honestly spent my first 1 -2 days of rest just blasting lana del ray ! embarce it haha
2. rest (≧▽≦)
after knowing you're in a rut , you're mentally exhausted , GIVE YOUR BODY REST !! one week is more than enough. keep your planner away for a week and just live the day as it goes on . DO NOT engage in heavy studying for a week at least , just do your home works if you wish
3. reset ‧₊˚ ⋅ ☆
indulge in things you enjoy watching , eating , reading !! go out w friends <3 refresh your mind and soul ! cleanse it all :D i personally binge watched zbtv , theKstarNextDoor , dive podcasts and some GoSe episodes ! these make me so so happy and really helped my mind be at peace
4. small steps( ◜‿◝ )♡
after around 5 days of complete rest , start motivating yourself on the 6th-7th days !! watching youtube vlogs really helps !! go on pinterest , get inspired to study , romaticise it !! and get back on track slowly.
