I was having a hard time sleeping tonight I didn’t know why. I don’t have school tomorrow. But not being able to sleep is awful. I have a movie running on my t.v., but it seems even that wouldn’t work I have pushed play on the menu 3 times already. I wasn't facing it anymore. I have my back turned to it.

“I picked up my phone to check the time. 4:00 a.m. it read. Seriously, the sun will rise in less than an hour. I put my phone back on my nightstand.

I moved my blankets up and adjusted my pillow.

I started to feel like I was starting to fall asleep. But I felt the bed dip down behind me. Which made me alert.

When I felt arms wrap around my middle I quickly turned my head to see who it was.

When I noticed it was Tate I untensed.

He chuckled before nuzzling his head into my neck. Before he started kissing my neck.

“Sorry if I scared you” he said mumbled into my neck. Stroking my abdomen.

“You didn’t scare me. Just startled me. You know it’s 4 in the morning right?” I said leaning into him.

“Yeah but I saw you couldn’t sleep and I am in the mood for cuddles.” he snuggled closer to me, kissing my shoulder

“So, you came into my room at 4 am to cuddle?” I asked him giggling.

“Hmmhm” he responded. I could feel him smiling

“Your staying home right?” he brought his head up and rested his chin on my shoulder

“Yeah, I have the day off from school. Why?” I turned in his embrace, cuddling into his chest.

“Because we are going to sleep in. And when everyone's gone we’ll make breakfast together.” he stated tightening his arms around me, resting his head on mine.

“That sounds great.” I cuddled into him more, if possible. Not long after that I fell asleep in his arms.

“Derek I have to go” I giggled trying to escape his vice grip.

“No, stay” he pleaded

“I have to go to work. I need to got to work if I don’t I won’t be able to pay my rent.” I sat up searching around the room for my clothes

“Stay. You should just move in here. No rent to pay I own the building. Stay with me 24/7.” he said looking over at me.

“Ha ha very funny. Where's my shirt?” I spoke with sarcasm thinking he was joking

“I’m serious. Move in with me” he grabbed at my bicep turning me to look at him. He looked serious

“Seriously? You want to be around me all the time?” I asked in disbelief

“I love you, of course.” he answered looking at me like I was crazy thinking otherwise

“You sure? Around me 24/7.I don’t want to annoy you” I looked at him nervously hoping he was telling the truth

“You are never annoying to me”

“Ya sure?” I asked quirking an eyebrow

“Yes, I’m sure”

“I should pay you rent for staying here-” I stumbled out

“No. That’s the point. You move in less working, no paying rent.” he chuckled

“I should at least help with bills” I told him not wanting to be a freeloader

“If I say yes will you stop trying to pay rent?” he asked smiling

I nodded.I couldn’t in good conscience not pay anything.I could see this meant something to Derek.

“Ok then you can help with bills.” he laughed, with a big goofy smile on his face

“Ok” I replied

“Ok? Your gonna move in, ok?” he asked with a hint of excitement in his voice

“Yeah Derek I’ll move in. But are you sure? This isn’t just a spur of the moment thing right?” I wanted to know before I moved in that he wasn't going to regret this in a week.

“It’s not. I swear. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while now. And this was just a good time to ask.” he moved closer to me sitting up

“I love you”

“I love you too” he said back cupping the side of my face which I leaned into

“So can we go get your stuff now? And by the way, some of your stuff is already here.” he pulled you back down on top of him

“How-” I looked at him puzzled and shocked

“I’ve been sneaking things over here to make you feel at home for a while and not we just need to get the rest of it” he looked around and I did the same. That's when I noticed that a lot of my stuff from my apartment were around the loft. He pulled me in for a kiss.

“Ok, one last thing.” I said pulling away from him

“Hmm” he raised his eyebrows ready to answer another question

“Where's my shirt?”

Being Aiden’s Mate (Headcanon)

Aiden is very protective of you.

Mates are a very rare thing for werewolves.

At first, he wouldn’t believe it at first. that you are his mate. Let alone that he has one.

He doesn’t believe he is worthy of having a mate.

Aiden also doesn’t want to in his words ‘taint’ you. If you are with him there is a chance you could get hurt. Or worse you could die.

At first, he tries to play it off. Act like he doesn’t care. 

But after some talking to from his brother. He starts to really look into it. And give it a chance.

Once he does things start to get better. Especially for Aiden.

He smiles a lot more when he’s around you.

The pack (McCall) notices changes in his attitude.

Aiden is less aggressive with you around.

“Aw look it’s Y/n again, should we call her over or are you going to?” -Stiles

Ethan also is very protective of you.

Talking Aiden down when he gets pissed in public places.

Deacalion wishing you two the best before he leaves town.

He tries to plan romantic dates for you but always has to ask Ethan and Danny for help.

If you get hurt he wolfs out. Threatens everyone that even so much as goes near you.

No one can touch you without him growling.

You have to call him over to your side and interlace your hands together to calm him down a bit.

Of course, he feels bad after because you were in pain and had to comfort him.

Whenever there's a threat in front of you all, he moves you to behind him.

He’s your shield, or at least he thinks he is.

If he has to go do something he has a pack member stay with you.

For protection.

Yelling at him when he gets hurt. Well, you wait till he’s patched up or healed to yell at him.

Almost dying and having to be turned.

Aiden helping you through it and helping you adjust.

Giving each other a mating bite mark that only the other werewolves can see.

“So Deaton do you know why there like this?” Scott asked his father figure as he examined my eyes.

“I might have a couple theories” he said, not in a very convincingly though

“Shouldn’t they have turned fully red” Stiles asked

“Yes, they should have” Deaton replied, shining a light in my eyes

“Well then why didn’t they?” Stiles asked in an exaggerated tone

“Stiles” Scott said forcefully towards Stiles with the look that said ‘shut up’.

“What?! I’m just asking what we’re all thinking.” Stiles pointed out, and practically yelled.

“Stiles, Scott just means it’s not helping.” I said to Stiles with a small smile on my lips

“I don’t know why. They are both colors it doesn’t make sense.” Deaton explained.

“How can I be a true alpha anyway? Aren’t they rae? The world already has Scott as one it doesn’t need me. Plus my wolf eyes are blue and we all know what that means. I can’t be a true Alpha.” I stuttered out nervously.

“I will look into it. I’ll also look into my theories, but till them I’m afraid we’ve got nothing.” he said before walking away

“Thanks Deaton.” Me and and scott said at the same time. Before he left the room. Stiles left to go after Deaton not wanting to leave with no information. Leaving me and Scott alone in the room.

“What are we going to do Scott? I-I can’t be a true alpha. I can’t.”

I am scared. I don’t want the responsibility of being a true alpha. I can’t be one I’ve killed two innocencents. It’s not possible.

“Baby we will figure this out ok? Even if you are a true alpha, that's an amazing thing. It also means that your eyes being blue isn’t a bad thing.” Scott spoke in a reassuring tone trying to ease me nerves.

“Scott I don’t want to be a true alpha.And my eyes Scott, I’m ok with them being blue because of how they became that way. I am glad that I could put my mom and little sister out of there pain. I wear my blue eyes with pride. I don’t want to lose them.” tears slipped out my eyes.

“Maybe that’s why they are both colors.”

“My eyes being blue is the only thing I have of either of them I can’t lose that.” I told him looking him in the eyes. He cupped my face wiping the tears away.

“You won’t. They will always be with you. In here.” he put his hand over my heart looking me straight in the eyes “Come on let's go home get some rest. You can stay over.” he helped me down from the exam table as we left the vets.

“That mission was fun” y/n said walking next to Tony and Thor with excitement.

“Well glad you enjoyed it because we got another one for you.” Fury said as we entered the conference room

“When do we leave?” Y/n asked excitedly walking up to the table. The Avengers smiled, at the fact that she has enthusiasm about what they do.

“Tomorrow at o’eight-hunderd hours” Fury responded

“That long!” Tony and Y/n whined out, both of them popping their hips out to their sides.

“Don’t you want a break?” Agent Coulson asked the two before they sat down

“Mmmm, not really.” Tony answered shaking his head slightly. Picking up the file and looking through it.

Coulson and Fury looked at each other and gave the ‘ok then’ look.

After talking about the mission. An where we had to go for it, and how we were gonna get there.

Also Tony and Bruce were researching the whole time. So they found new information. And of course they, well mostly Tony corrected Fury almost every few seconds.

Thor, Clint and y/n had a hard time containing their laughter. Although Nat kept smacking them in the arm.

“So is that it?” Y/n questioned looking around the room to see if anyone had anything else to say

“Yeah” Fury stood up

“Really” y/n tilted her head to the side squinting her eyes

“How come everytime I say something it’s never enough for you?” Fury asked, not believing that again she wasn’t happy with the amount of information given.

“Uh that's because she's an honorary Stark. And we’re never impressed by anyone but ourselves, at least not most of the time. Ain’t that right?” Tony nodded to y/n looking at Fury

“Mhmm” y/n nodded in agreement

“That's why she can be annoying, sarcastic, self-centered-” Rhodey started but got cut off by y/n who looked appalled

“I am not self-centered-”

“Ok yes that I guess you're not-” Rhodey tried again although this time agreeing with her.

“Yeah, I’m not. Annoying, on purpose and sarcastic, yes very much so.” y/n stated listing  the things she is and why

“I see” Fury said understanding what Rhodey meant

“I think she's always been that way” Coulson stated to his boss. Fury looked at him and nodded agreeing that that is probably true. When they looked back Tony and Y/n both are giving the two looks that seemed to be shocked, appalled, and upset.

“Wha-what’s that?” Coulson asked pointing

“What’s what?” y/n questioned him the looks not flattering

“That” he pointed between the two

“What?” Tony asked. Then he turned his head to y/n to look at her to ask “do you know what he’s talking about?”

“No, no I do not” she answered looking back at Tony before the two looked at Coulson again

“What’s your expressions, on your faces?” Coulson elaborated, hoping to get a straight answer from the two. Since let’s be honest the look was creeping him out a little bit.

“Oh he means the look on our faces” Tony explained turning to y/n again

“Oh, does he? Well, I can’t be held responsible for what my face does when you talk” y/n stated looking at Coulson with a smirk tugging at the corners of her lips

“See” Tony got up and pointed towards y/n “Stark. Told you.”
