 “Y/n!” Mal yelled as she caught sight of the girl she has been looking for.

“Hey Mal” Y/n greeted with a soft smile. She slowed down so the purple haired girl could catch up to her. “Whats up?”

Mal took a deep breath before answering. “We figured out who your birth father is.”

“Really? Who?” Y/n asked, trying not to get her hopes up or look too desperate.

“Hades” Mal told her, alittle anxious to see her reaction to the news.

Y/n nodded in understanding but also because she didn’t know what to say. “Wow, uh ok. Thank you guys for looking into this for me. It means alot.” She thanked Mal.

“There’s something else.” Mal spoke nervously about what she’s gonna tell the princess.

“Hmmm?” Y/n made a noise for her to know to continue speaking.

“Look Y/n, what I’m about to tell you only Evie knows. Not even Jay or Carlos know, and I’d like to keep it that way. At least for now.” Mal explained while also pulling Y/n over to the side of the castle where they could talk in private.

“Mal, if you don’t want people to know what your about to tell me I promise I won’t tell a soul. Not even my brother.” Y/n promised

Mal smiled gratefully “I appreciate that. A lot.”

“So what’s on your mind?” Y/n asked

“You know how we just clicked when I first came here to Auradon?” she asked the younger Florian.

Y/n nodded to the VK. She remembered it well, her parents were worried that the daughter of Maleficent would rub off on her to much, and with Y/n already being rebellious they kept a watchful eye on the two sometimes. “Yeah. I consider you like a sister Mal.”

“What if I told you we kinda are? Like by blood.” Mal asked

“What?!” Y/n whisper yelled in shock and confusion. 

“Hades is my father to. He was never around, he and Maleficent didn’t get along so he left and never looked back.” Mal explained to her half sister

“Aw, Mal I’m sorry.” Y/n said before bringing Mal into a tight hug.

Mal hugged back for a few moments before they both pulled apart. “It sucked but don’t worry about it. I will admit if I found this out when I first got here I would have hated you. He tried and succeed in giving you a better life and didn’t even try to be there for me. But he wasn’t there for eithe r of us. Being mad at you wouldn’t be fair to you, it’s not like you had a say or even knew. Plus I already consider you my sister, my family. An now its just even more real.” she laughed out of happiness.

“I consider you a sister as well, and part of my family. An who knows we might become even more family one day.” Y/n winked, which made Mal blush hard.

“So we need to think of one that had magic or powers or both before they were sent to the Isle.” Evie stated as they sat down scattered around Carlos’ and Jays’ dorm room.

“Most are too selfish to give up their kid to have a better life.” Mal said tilting her head with an annoyed face. They’re determined to help Y/n and Ben find out who her Villain parent could be. But what Villain cared enough about they’re kid to do so.

“Could it be one of ours?” Jay thought out loud

“Well, my mother never had any magic of any kind so Crulle De Vil is out.” Carlos out their

Evie sighed taking a minute to compose herself “As awful as my mom could be she would have kept her daughter or talked about her all the time if she had, had another. So Queen is out too.”

“It’s not in my father’s personality to do something like that. And he doesn’t possess any genuine magical powers.”Jay pointed out

“I would think my mother would have kept another child if she had one. It’d be just another chance to rule the world.” Mal exclaimed before doing this they forgot how selfish their parents could be, and everyone else where they used to live.

“Ursula, but she’s too selfish too.” Jay added

“Highly unlikely to be a  Doctor Facilier” Carlos stated the obvious

“Definitely not Mother Gothel.” Evie exclaimed

“Queen Narissa would never have children” Jay stated

“I’d say no to Madam Mim” Mal wrote down their no’s to help them remember who they eliminated.

“I would say no to the Queen of Hearts.” Evie spoke giving a disgusting look

“Captain Hook somewhat values his daughters, so not him. Plus he has no magic.” Mal said before sighing

“Gaston’s to vain and doesn’t have magic.” Carlos listed what they all considered to be factual information.

Jay slouched “Who does that leave?”

“I don’t know. Let’s think on it, talk later. K?” Evie said before they all got up to take a break from all their guessing.”

“So have you or the others figured out who could be Y/ns parents?” Ben asked Mal as they met up for lunch in the courtyard.

Mal sighed “All we were able to do was cut people out of the running, but now we have to think of who’s left.”

“How many did you guys eliminate?” Ben answered curiously

“A lot. Which is the problem.” Mal shook her head.

“How so?” Be questioned. Eliminating Villains he would’ve thought would help. 

“Well, we got rid of pretty much every Villain. At least who we can think of.” Mal explained to her boyfriend.

“Well, who’s left? Maybe I can help.” Ben sighed, hoping to get answers for himself but really for his sister.

“Not many that have magic, so that helps. I don't know what you could do to help.” Mal whispered to him so the others around wouldn’t know what they were discussing.

“Well, there’s a plus, right?” Ben stopped her for a second, seeing how Mal was starting to stress herself out over this.

“Yeah, I just hope we can help.” Mal really wanted to help her friend. Y/n is basically like a sister to her, just like Evie. If there’s a way to help Y/n control her magic or at least find out where her magic comes from.

“You will. I believe in you Mal, and Evie, Jay, and Carlos. You guys all really want to help. I can tell, and so can Y/n.” Ben smiled before they shared a quick kiss. Then headed back to getting on with their date.

“So we narrowed it down. All Villains that don’t have magic or powers are out. And we have started narrowing down the ones that do.” Evie explained to Y/n. Having run into the blue highlighted hair girl in the gardens.

“That’s great. Right?” Y/n asked, trying not to show her nerves about the topic at hand.

“Yeah, definitely. We don’t have many left in the running, we know that. It’s just trying to think of who’s left.” Evie smiled at the princess. Trying to keep her hopes up.

“Oh… Evie this is Ben’s idea and as much as I would like to know, I don’t want you guy’s stressed or working too much on this. It’s not worth it.” Y/n told her not wanting to put them through the stress of trying to find out who her birth parents are if its gonna cause them stress.

Evie shook her head grabbing Y/n’s shoulder. Before stating “Y/n, it's worth it. To all of us. It is. And we aren’t just doing this for Ben. We are doing this for you. You are like family to us. Also, this is something we want to figure out. It's not every day a Villain kid gets to grow up in Auradon.”

“Hey Y/n, are you ok? I’ve been looking for you.” Ben asked catching up to his sister.

“Ummm, I’m ok. I think.” Y/n mumbled not really looking towards her brother

“Come on.” Ben grabbed her hand. “We grew up together. We are technically siblings.”

Y/n sighed, taking a deep breath looking up at him. “I love that we are siblings. Technically. There’s no one I would’ve rather grown up with. You are my brother.”

“And you’re my sister.” he smiled brightly at Y/n. “Now what’s on your mind?” Ben asked before they both moved to sit by the fountain.

“With all, that’s been going on…” she started to explain but then stopped, still unsure how to explain what’s going on with her.

“Come on tell me.” Ben encouraged

Y/n let out a breath turning to sit facing him more “Don’t get me wrong ok? I love Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay being here.”

“I know. You’re really close with all of them. They love you.” he nodded

“And I them. But. . . I can’t help but think about it lately. Ben you know I’m a Villians kid. That I was taken in by your parents cause whoever mine are asked them to. They won’t tell me. When we hinted that we thought we weren’t blood-related they had a chance to tell us. Hell they had a chance to even come out and say I was adopted. But they didn’t. We only found out because we snooped when they were visiting the charmings. They won’t tell us who I’m really from.” Y/n spoke heavily about the subject. She didn’t understand why lately it has been weighing on her mind.

“Oh, Y/n.” Ben gave her a sympathetic smile

Y/n looked around then back to her brother before continuing “I love them to peices. They have been great to me. They care for me as if I really am there’s, and they are my parents- I consider them my parents. But I-”

“You want to know about who you come from.” he nodded, understanding her completely.

“Yeah” she nodded sadly

“We could try asking again.” Ben suggested, shrugging. Although even he didn’t think it was worth a shot after last time.

Y/n shook her head erratically. “We tryed going to them when we were ten and I started having spark’s of magic here and there, remember? Before we could even get two sentences out they shut down the conversation. You helped me through it and learn to control it. Even when they got so strong I could barely touch anything without it getting burned.”

Ben pulled her into a tight hug. Seeing her start to hyperventilate. “We’ll figure it out, ok? I promise.”

“Noah!” Y/n squealed as Noah fell dramatically on top of her making the bed bounce.

“Y/n!” he mimicked her before snuggling into her

“We’re gonna get caught!” Y/n stated while squirming as she felt Noah move his hands to her sides.

“So what?” Noah mumbled into Y/n’s neck resting his forehead onto her shoulder.

Y/n scoffed “So, rule number-”

Noah sighed “number 9. I know.”

Y/n lifted her head to run her fingers through his hair. ”I’m sorry.”

Noah shook his head before lifting it up to look his girl in the eyes. He didn’t blame her so in his eyes she has nothing to apologize for. “Don’t be, baby. You 3 have a great friendship. If those rules are part of the reason why I don’t want to ruin it.”

Y/n shook her head with a frown, that turned into a sorrow expression. “But it’s not fair to you, to us. I hate hiding us.”

With that look and with what was said Noah moved and repositioned himself above her so he rested his weight on his left forearm. While the other moved up to cup the side of her face. “Hey. I can not wait to be able to show off that you’re mine to the world.”

She smiled at that and readjusted her hands so her left now cupping the back of his neck an her right cupping his cheek. “Me too, I just can’t think of a way to do that without them finding out.”

“We’ve been doing a good job at hiding our relationship so far.” he noticed hoping to lift her spirits about the whole thing.

Y/n nodded but sighed “It’s just these stupid rules! I mean yeah sure some of them come in handy or are nice but this one has become a pain in my ass!”

“I agree” Noah chuckled

 Y/n smacked his bicep “Oh shut up!”

Noah laughed, but then got serious. “Look it is a rule that’s become problematic, but we’ll figure it out. I’m not gonna back out of this because of a friendship rule. This is the best thing I have in my life.” 

Y/n smiled lovingly up at her boyfriend. “Your the best thing in my life too.”

“Hey, Lee!” Elle greeted Lee loudly as he pulled up.

“Hey, Elle!” Lee greeted back just as loud pulling to a stop in front of Elle’s house.

“Where’s Y/n? You normally pick her up first.” Elle asked confused by the lack of their trio member. Y/n lives the farthest so normally Lee picks her up first.

“Noah is gonna take her over.” Lee replied throwing Ell’s stuff in the back for the sleepover.

“Noah? Why?” Elle asked shocked and confused by the older Flynn’s actions.

“Well, I guess he had to get a part for his piece of junk motorcycle and Y/n had to pick something up nearby the shop so he offered to bring her back when they’re both done.” Lee explained not thinking to much of it till now. Although now that he’s thinking about it he finds his brother’s actions very odd.

“How very not Noah Flynn of him.” Elle mumbled before leaning forward to change the radio station.

“Tell me about it.” Lee laughed. Then the two started talking about what they had planned for the night, not thinking about anything else anymore. Especially what could be going on at the Flynn household.

“Noah!” Y/n giggled on the couch as Noah started tickling her, laughing as well. So much for coming downstairs to watch a movie.

What they didn’t hear through the laughter was the sound of car doors shutting and the front door opening and closing. So when Elle and Lee walked into the house and heard laughing and what they walked into see blew their minds. Never in a million years did they think they’d see what they were seeing. “Oh, My God!” They both yelled at the same time in disgust.

Noah and Y/n broke apart and sat up on the couch quickly. “Shit” Y/n and Noah both said under there breath.

“Seriously! My brother!” Lee screamed at the Y/n/c-ed girl sitting on the couch. Lee was fuming, it was painfully obvious.

“Lee” Noah spoke in a warning tone. Speaking his brother’s name sternly, not liking how he was talking to Y/n.

“Rule number 9 Y/n!” Elle screamed next, glaring and shaking her head in disgust and disappointment towards her friend.

“I-I know.” Y/n stuttered looking at her two best friends with wide eyes. Not knowing what to say to them. Especially considering how angry they both are.

“Oh, really? You know? Then why are you all cuddled up next to my brother? Which is completely against friendship rule number 9. which makes this whole situation off limits!” Lee exclaimed very loudly pointing and waving his hands around in the air wildly.

“Familys off limits!” Elle exclaimed as well, following Lee’s actions. Considering how they both seem to feel about this newfound relationship it wasn’t shocking. This is exactly what Y/n thought would happen when they found out.

“Now Lee, Elle. Just calm down.” Misses Flynn spoke after entering the kitchen and hearing her younger son and surget daughter screaming at their best friend, her other surget daughter, and older son. 

“No! No mom! This-” Lee turned to his mother and pointed between his brother and friend. “-This is betrayal.”

“Agreed” Elle nodded

Misses Flynn walked around to stand in front of the breakfast bar. This was getting out of hand. She shook her head in disappointment. “Guys. Come on that’s not fair.”

Noah shook his head trying to calm himself down. “I don’t see the problem you both have with this?”

“Just let us explain.” Y/n pleaded with the two people who she’s been best friends with since diapers.

Lee shook his head “No! Were leaving, come on Elle.” 

Elle agreed. “Yeah, lets got.” Then they both walked out slamming the front door and speeding out of the driveway.

“What just happened? I mean I know the friendship rules, but that-” Misses Flynn asked shocked at what was just displayed before her.

Noah shook his head in disbelief. How could they treat the situation like that? It was beyond him. “That was uncalled for.”

Y/n tired to cover her snuffle as she wiped her nose. “I broke the rule.”

“Y/n, sweetie that’s not your fault.” Misses Flynn said as she immediately walked over to the young girl on the couch. Holding into Y/n’s hands. “You love Noah, right?” She asked an, of course, Y/n nodded right away leaning her head against Noah’s shoulder as he wrapped his arms around her. “Then those rules shouldn’t matter.”

“But-” Y/n started to object but that was stopped right away by momma Flynn.

“No but’s. You both love eachother. Your forgetting I’ve know about the two of you the whole time.” She smiled at the young girl knowingly.

Noah leaned over and kissed the side of her head. “They’ll come around, baby.”

“Noah’s right. They will come around eventually. Till then you still have me on the side of you guy’s relationship.” Misses Flynn pulled both teenagers into her arms. Giving them a hug that they probably both need then and there. “I’m gonna go start dinner.”

Once his mom was back in the kitchen and they had some privacy, Noah pulled her onto his lap wrapping her up in his warm embrace. “You’ll always have me, ya know.”

“I love you” Y/n stated nuzzling into her man’s chest. Even after all that’s happened today Y/n wouldn’t change being with Noah for anything.

“I love you too.” Noah kissed the top of her head and leaned back on the sofa to just relax in each others embrace after the day’s actions.
