Something I’ve been keeping to myself in fear my idea would be taken and someone would do it before me since I’ve got no place to paint. An idea I’ve had in my head for 10 years. It’s a type of paneling without scribing. I call it faux paneling and I got the idea from Star Trek the motion picture.

I have a question.. Have the Gundam paint guides been wrong before? I used the guide to make the light purple grey for deathscythe hell and the formula it gives me is NOT the color. I tried to make the “mask, etc. color and it says 80:10:10 and I think it’s more 90:20:1 if that makes sense

I used that theory to correct that color and basically eyeballed it by added a bunch of white and neutral grey til I got the color I felt was right

I painted the parts that were supposed to be that color on the circular part of the runner to see if I was close

I think I got it but I was wondering if a paint guide has ever been off before?
