I'm seriously craving to write a fanfic about reverse-isekaied OG!Cale, but like---

What if Kim Rok Soo did have a brother old enough to take care of him after his parents passed? However, said brother originally ended up in a coma because of the same accident that took their parents lives, and got disconnected bc no one could/wanted to pay for life support.

Enters OG!Cale.

Cale, now KRS' older brother, wakes up before being disconnected and speed runs his rehabilitation to take KRS away from their shitty uncle.

And KRS gets the childhood he deserves.

And Cale gets to be the cool older brother we know he is.

Just got done reading and I LOVED IT

Preview:

“Kim Rok Soo.” The husky voice called out to him. 

Hesitantly, afraid it might be a dream, he turned around but kept his sight fixed on the tiles. An uncertain amount of time went by before he finally  gathered the courage to look up.

The first thing he sees is Kim Soohyn sweeping back his bangs.

“I’m sorry, buddy; your hyung is late.”

As soon as a hand touched his head, ruffling it roughly, tears started rolling down uncontrollably.

My poor baby (that I don't have) is never leaving the house if these are the only babysitters available, tysm.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄: Made no effort in appearing approachable nor keeping your child entertained, most probably grab your child by the scruff of their clothes in the least consideration to prevent your child from missing. Your child might be 1) scared and scream, 2) cry and scream, 3) glare but shut up at his scary face, or 4) wait for the right moment to scream so this strange guy will fxck off. Unintentionally appearing like a grumpy family member(?) taking care of the youngest who's throwing tantrums in public. No one will approach and do harm to the child. You never saw your child that pissed off and they apparently looked scary enough for you to flinch.

𝗦𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘂: Scary face but will crouch down to your child's level to pat them on the head. His smiling face seemed ready to commit manslaughter. He actually will grabbed your child's hand, give ice cream and sit on some nearby bench. Your child actually scared of the guy, the ice cream cone cracked and crushed under his feeble-looking fingers, they're too scared to run away and not eating the ice cream under his excited smile. People around them might call the police at moment's notice. Your child will return with stomachache and crying.

𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗵: Generally clueless around children, your child included. Face paled and sweat so much with permanent scowl that your child not sure if he's angry or scared of them. Said nothing and do nothing but watch. Will 100% suspected as kidnapper. Your child might make fun of him until they find out this guy's real angry face is heinous and frankly traumatizing they'll scream at the top of their lungs. You'll have appointment for the consequences, both for police station and hospital.

𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝗵: Reliable and do magic tricks. Pretty older sister with friendly approach. Will traumatize your child. Will 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦 your child. Magic tricks as disguised hardcore gore implications. Taught your child the hard way to never run around and went missing. People gushed at them for the sweet interaction. The beginning of your child being scared of strangers and crowd places. Definite appointment with therapist.
