Okay, just a small question or curiosity I have. Og!Choi Han beat Og!Cale to a pulp in tboah, right? How much force would Choi Han exerted in his unstable state of mind? If he delivered precised punch on Cale's philtrum, how high is the chance for Cale to experience fracture, breaking the alveolar process up to his nasal spine at the same time? No, really. Is it possible? If Choi Han did not stop with philtrum alone, going as far as to punch him on either sides of parietal bones, mandible, and frontal bones (pardon me if I got the name wrong)... with swordmaster's strength, uncontrollable anger, and little to no self-control. At this point, honestly Cale might not be so weak. I mean if we cast aside the existence of potion and holy power, 'fantasy' factors that may contribute to Cale's physical endurance, severe blood loss, and assuming Choi Han went all out.
This might be a stupid thought but I'm genuinely wondering. And at the same time it's unnerved me that tboah Vicross decided it was a breathtaking display of power...? Towards an 18-years-old? I'm not trying to be biased but please, let's see it this way for a bit. How could Deruth forgive Choi Han enough? Why did Ron finalised his decision to resign at the same time?
Me here quite frankly thought 'being beaten to a pulp' is an understatement of Cale's potential injuries, his head might as well pummeled and mashed. And the emphatic sense of people around is fairly questionable, or is it just for the fact that Cale is trash? Character bashing aside.... I'm, I'm crying because now I feel so guilty. And it just 'head', what if Choi Han beat the 'body' too...?
And thus, Roan is introduced to FIREARMS!
Modern Cale being TBOAH Cale’s sort-of kinda therapist is so funny.
Also, Bud is so right. I sometimes can’t help but to wonder if Cale was really such an outstanding actor or if other people noticed and just didn’t do anything.
The former is probably the truth but the second is really tragic.
The idea that all OG! Cale needed was a single responsible adult whom he respected to sit him down and set him straight to prevent his self-destruction is so tragically frustratingly funny to me.
Like, it could have been Deruth, Violan or even Ron and he would have stopped.
I imagine that in a modern AU, when Cale's behavior first started, Deruth made the decision to go to therapy with his whole family to sort out their issues. Because Deruth loves his son and I do think that if therapy was a thing in Roan, then he would have definitely taken Cale.
Anyway, Therapist tells Deruth to get his shit together and sit with his son to have a heartfelt conversation because his eldest is more than the remnants of his late wife. They do that and badabing bada boom, issues are sorted and Cale isn't ruining his life and making himself miserable, and the family is close.
OG! TBOAH meet this Modern AU Henituse family and they are SHOCKED at how different the two Cales are, including Cale himself.
Then the reason is revealed and oooh boy, are there a lot of revelations.
"WAIT IT WAS ALL AN ACT?"
"All I had to do was tell him to stop????"
Funny shit.
Took me forever to finish this because this vain little young master won’t leave me alone until I made sure everything on his person looked absolutely dashing and gorgeous.
