I see, makes sense. Though I haven't gotten very far with [ItB] and it's been a minute since I read it, ChoiCale are friends with lots of tension and can be interpreted as more than friends. Ultimately, I think it really depends on which version of [ItB] Choi Han.

OG! Cale makes the deal with the GoD but instead of transmigrating to Korea, he becomes KRS! Cale's subconscious.

He's always awake, he can see and hear everything in KRS! Cale's body. He can also see KRS's dreams and nightmares, he has access to all the powers (including the Earth abilities.)

KRS already has good instincts but mixed with Cale's war honed abilities, nothing is getting past them. Especially because Cale is a very active subconscious.
