Hey Guys, I Made Another One!!

hey guys, i made another one!!

this is the latest cross-promotion for a dragon video i've done so far because sometimes you've just got to stick the video up and move on to writing a 10 page story due next week) anyway, this is the video for Crash, my dragoniz-ed version of Joseph Joestar. There's a ton of stuff I mention about his character design and name during the video, so you should give it a watch, but I figure while I'm here, I'll drop some ✳ πŸŽ€ π“‰π“Šπ“‚π’·π“π“‡-π‘’π“π’Έπ“π“Šπ“ˆπ’Ύπ“‹π‘’ πŸŽ€ ✳ behind-the-scenes work too---as well as a few screenshots of Jotaro's color design.

Also, mild JJBA spoilers ahead! (for Parts 2-4)

Hey Guys, I Made Another One!!

during a later part of the video you can see me adding Hermit Purple to Crash's design, but i ultimately thought it cluttered up the image, so I left it off. When designing Crash based off of his Joestar counterpart, I thought it would be neat if I made an alternate version including his metal hand, or something else. I wanted his color palette to stay the same regardless, so he would just look like this but older in any other appearances (except for the hand and glasses for Part 4). Perhaps I'll make a doodle of him later, but honestly these dragony-bois are like a one-and-done for me; usually they have to be since I make them traditionally and then give them off to my friends where I never see them again, so getting emotionally attached to the drawing is rough (although it still happens and all I have left to soothe me is the concept art/color palette I made for it)

Speaking of color palettes, here's what I've whipped up for Jotaro:

Hey Guys, I Made Another One!!
Hey Guys, I Made Another One!!

i love the purple in the first one's design, since i think joot looks rather cool, and that would justify making him a ice/night, but it seems too specific to one/two versions of his design. the white-gold one on the bottom is really cool too, and it mostly draws off of his part 4 designs (also part 4 is my favorite, let's go, josuke4!). there's one arm that i want to make into, like, seal points to spice up his arms/legs, but i'm not feeling it as much.

anyhoo, that's all i'm showing for right now. there's a couple more layers in the jotaro file than there should be since i ended up doodling dragona joestar (all hail dragona), but i'll show him off later. okay byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

What if I turned JJBA characters into WOF dragons?

video idea for when my new lap/tablet/top (tabtop? lablet?) comes in: I draw my interpretations of JJBA characters as WOF dragons. I already have the list of characters and tribes picked:

Jonathan Joestar: chonky Seawing

Joseph Joestar: green Seawing

Jotaro Kujo: Icewing (i don't know what to do with his hat)

Josuke Higashikata: Seawing or Sea/Sand hybrid maybe?

Giorno Giovanna: Silk/Sea hybrid

Jolyne Cujoh: Icewing or Ice/Leaf hybrid

Johnny Joestar: I haven't read part 7

Josuke "Gappy" Higashikata: bilateral color split Rainwing

Jodio Joestar: Skywing or Sky/Silk hybrid

I also have a bunch of notes on naming ideas (Joseph as Crash is non-negotiable), design features (Giorno would resemble the rosy maple moth), and which non-protagonists I might want to adapt (Dio I decided to figure out so I could do Giorno properly; he is a Sky/Silk hybrid).

If I end up making it, I'll put a timelapse and the finished product/design work on my various online accounts with wildly different usernamehs.

a poorly saturated notebook sketch of Johnathan Joestar as a Seawing (named Flameback). The main body is dark blue, the underbelly is a light blue, the horns and spine spikes are an indigo/purplish, and the frills of his spine are a bold yellow.

And here's the only thing I got onto paper, so take that if you wanna sign up for more I guess (plus I felt bad telling you about this neat concept I had art-wise and then deliver a 5 paragraph wall of text).

COMMISSIONS OPEN FINALLY HOLY MOONS!!

Today I approach you not as cleverusernameh, but as the greater, more powerful ACDS. Who now has open commissions. What do I make? Wings of Fire type dragons and human-adjacent things. Here are my prices, and some examples of my arts!

An image of a simplified dragon. It is various shades of pink with a yellow gradient to the wings. Above it is a price chart correlating to the size and about of detail desired on the dragon.
An image of a simplified human. It is various shades of green, and resembles my OC, Owen, but only I know that. Above it is a price chart correlating to the size and about of detail desired on the human.
Joseph Joestar as a dragon---green scales between a granny smith and a shiny swamp, along with a pale yellow spine and wing membrane. He's pointing at the camera, reminiscent of a pose human Joeseph does. ACDS watermark in the top right corner, and Joseph's dragon name: Crash, in the bottom left corner. The background is like gray-brownish red, that's supposed to be a cave.
Josuke Higashikata as a dragon---body scales are what I like to call "blurple", but could better be described as a "royal indigo". He too has a yellow spine and wing membrane. He's doing finger guns (claw guns?), reminiscent of a pose human Josuke has done in one specific Araki illustration. ACDS watermark in the bottom right corner, and Josuke's dragon name: Arroyo, in the top left corner. The background is just a Gaussian blurred version of Morioh-cho, with its trademark urine yellow skies and purple mountains.
My friend as a dragon---he's kind of the same blurple as Josuke, but with more purple in it. Spines, wing membranes with stars, tongue---all various shades of purple. He's roaring up into a thunderous sky, a bolt of lightning illuminating his profile. Flying above a stormy sea, the ACDS watermark is actually hidden in his forearm. In my files, he's named Thundertalon.
Headshot of my DND character, Ronnie Clearwater. Dark brown skin, and cornrows of alternating black and fawn colors. She's looking dead at the camera with yellow eyes. The top part of her wan cloak is visible, with the purple eye symbolizing her patronage to the god Denier in the center as a brooch/pin/button.
Headshot of Edward. He's kind of my favorite OC to draw, at least lately. He's got copper colored skin, vibrant green eyes, and a bushy mess of orange hair. I love his genetics. He's smiling, and the ACDS watermark is placed just above the part where I chopped off his neck from the rest of his body.

Here's my list of what I will and won't draw (pregnant people is a secret won't---I can't go back):

Will Draw:
-Dragons
-Animals
-Anthros
-Animals/Pets
-Pretty Much Anything Else Not Specified Elsewhere

Will NOT Draw:
-Nudity (I cannot have that kind of power)
-Fetish Art (I cannot have that kind of power)
-Shipping Art of Real, Non-Consenting People (I'll draw married folks, but my friend asked for art of Drake and Kendrick Lamar making out, and I felt icky the whole time. So thanks Jax, for giving me another boundary to set with people. Please come back into my life.)
-Hate Speech/Imagery (self-explanatory; I could be convinced to waive it in certain circumstances)

Where to pay, and my other socials:

Payment is to Cashapp (Cashtag is $ACDSART) or to Stripe (which accepts a ton of things like debit/credit, and strangely enough CashApp as well)
Below that info are my other socials: @hope_i_can_change_this (Instagram)
@cleverusernameh (tumblr, but I think you knew that one already)
AwesomeCowDoesStuff AndRandomChannel (Youtube)

Also of note is the little artist mascot in the lower right corner. My heart goes out to that shirtless, horned skrimble.

Can you tell I formatted this as an Instagram post? Yes? Keen eye, here's the lost Jesus thumbnail for a YouTube short I made a while ago, but "apparently" they don't allow you to choose thumbnails:

cheeky jesus.jpeg

I think it's the cheekiest frame I've ever made and I love it. Absolutely stacked for MS Paint (the new version with "layers" and a "co-creator", the latter of which I refuse to use). Anyhow, I hope this post has implored you to consider commissioning me for anything at all, starting at these prices. Here's a link to my TOS, which should hopefully clear up anything that's unclear at the end of this. Or message me! Thank you and have a splendifericious day!

(new JJBA/WOF dragon coming out....soon)

Sup; I read your reblog (reply? idk the exact tumblr terminology on this) and I have decided to make responses private. I initially kept them up because I thought it would be interesting for responders to see what others had to say about the show, and have folks see where the general stats were going. Once I'm done collecting results, I might make a little video on the responses in my free time, so if anyone is taking the poll later and still wanted to know what others had to say, I'll probably make an edit that codifies the results and such later on.

Anyhow, thank for wishing me well on my project, it is certainly coming together!

Please fill this out, Odd Squad fans of Tumblr and beyond. Shares are appreciated, because the more responses means the more RAW DATA I procure.
