The Ice Skating Episode In Ranma 1/2 Is One Of The Best. I Shall Talk About My Spinoffs Take On It.
The ice skating episode in Ranma 1/2 is one of the best. I shall talk about my spinoff’s take on it.
While ice skating with his 3 friends, the protagonist is mocked by two pro figure skaters. The protagonist’s handsome crush and best friend stands up for him. The male pro skater recognizes him though.
The protagonist’s friend used to be a famous hockey skater before quitting due to a concussion. The pro skaters mock them worse and even challenges the protagonist’s friend to a skating competition. With a hurt pride and wanting to stop the torment, the protagonist’s best friend agrees to it. He is now panicking because he doesn’t know another figure skater who can help him.
The protagonist feels sorry for him and agrees to help him look for someone. Again, the protagonist doesn’t know anymore else so she asks her cursed Swan friend to help out. The Swan agrees since the protagonist did help her out with the gymnastic club. It makes the protagonist jealous that she cannot help her friend in any other way.
The fight scenes and battle is a little blurry to me in this episode, but I will attempt to describe it all. The Swan and protagonist’s crush go against the two pro skaters. Without knowing it was a fighting match too, they are overwhelmed. The Swan has to do most of the leg work and fighting while the her skating partner adapts. It turns out he’s pretty flexible and agile on ice.
In what’s supposed to be the finishing blow, the pro skaters slam the Swan into the wall and injures her whole back. Not wanting her friend dead, the protagonist switches with her in her female form. They work together to finish off the two. In the middle of the battle, the male pro skater kisses her and catches her off guard. They almost lose when the ice breaks and releases cold water. The protagonist changes into their male form and is thrown a more fitted outfit by their cousin.
Their crush is surprised by their appearance, but brushes it off as he just needs any partner. Once they defeat the two, the female pro skater is so in love with the protagonist that she kisses them. Thrown so off guard, the protagonist tries to flee before getting interrupted by their snake rival.

I forgot, the series is officially named Digital Story. This is the third installment of it. The cast is even younger than the past two. The first group were already adults. The second group were high schoolers. Now, these are middle school kids.
One night, a few kids sneak into the DATS headquarters and get transported to the Digital World, breaking it and scattering themselves. Vallura and Kenny have to navigate through the strange world to get home with her partner Lunamon and her friend ToyAgumon.
They find out Maria, Brian, and Scott have joined the enemy, while Abby and Sora have been living peacefully in a village. Jayden is a vigilante and Kai has joined the army resisting the rule of some new gods called Kuzuhamon and Gaioumon.
After MDS2, the Digital World has unrest and been in disorder. With the destruction of the Olympus 12, there is no one to keep the chaos at bay. 2 digimon rose up and decided to takeover the world for themselves. They are sadistic and like seeing the world destroy itself.
Vallura and Kenny have to make a choice. They can join to defeat these rulers or go home. Kenny decides enough is enough and goes home, while Vallura stays to fight.
She finds out about the Olympus 12 and knows they are the only ones who can help. She sets out with Lunamon to find them and stop the destruction.
I realized I cannot talk about any recreated fight scenes without talking about the cursed protagonist’s ultimate rival.
Not mentioned in previous posts, the protagonist’s biggest rival and friend in all this is the one cursed with a duck body like a swan. They both grew up in the same village together and the Swan took the same route as the protagonist in escaping. The Swan is mad that the protagonist left her and hid.
She found herself sponsored by a rich family and goes to a rivaling private school. She is equal in strength and skills, but lacks formal training unlike the protagonist. The Swan doesn’t really care about it anymore as she takes up ballet, piano, and dance in her time.
The Swan’s debut episode is after the protagonist becomes a huge hit and defeats the biggest jock at their school. She catches wind of it and comes to check it out under the guise of wanting to confess to a boy. Upon seeing the protagonist, she is overcome with rage and doesn’t hesitate to attack them, no matter which form they are in.
The protagonist looks pretty much the same, but most differences is in the facial structure and body. As a male, the protagonist is taller, more muscular, and has a sharper jawline. His hair is slightly duller from the lack of care and straighter. As a female, the protagonist is slightly shorter, slimmer, and has very soft features. Her hair is a bit curlier, fluffier, and shiny from all the products.
Once attacked, the protagonist is overcome with fight-or-flight and doesn’t recognize the girl in front. Many people are booing them for attacking a girl in their male form, but its just an instinctual response. Not wanting to make a bigger fool out of themselves, the protagonist just restrains the Swan and gets her to talk. Realizing the Swan is their childhood friend who got abandoned, the air becomes awkward and the protagonist has to let her go. Angrily, the Swan leaves and is embarrassed about what they did.
I really enjoy odd “novelty” martial arts (as you can tell by my previous posts. I really think dancing and martial arts are similar. Ballroom martial arts would be cool.
Samba and tango can add some pretty intense moments. Their footwork is quick and can be dramatic. Lots of kicks and coordination.
Dancing in general would be awesome to see incorporated with some deadly flair. Hip hop and freestyle can get intricate.
As you can tell, I’m not good at giving examples or really illustrating my ideas. I just want to talk about the episode.
This is a rival centered episode. I want to try to add the rich snake rival into this.
The swan, her best friend, and the protagonist go out to watch some ballroom dancing. The protagonist is not particular interested in anything not martial arts related. After the show is over, the snake, who was a part of the dancers, comes up to the girls and flirt.
The only one really quiet and not gushing over him is the protagonist, which catches his interest. He flirts harder and asks her to be his dance partner. The protagonist doesn’t want to, but the girls push her.
The protagonist changes into a slim dance outfit and is taken to a practice room, with the girls watching. The snake teaches her some of the steps and the protagonist begrudging goes along with it. Afterwards, he compliments her and wants to take her to a higher up competition. He was in the local area just for fun and looking for a new girl.
The protagonist refuses to go until he mentions wanting to pay her. She was never the one to turn down money so she agrees.
At the higher up competition, the swan, her best friend, and the protagonist’s friend group is there watching. The competition immediately gets intense when one of the competitors trips her, lowering their score. The protagonist is angry and now is going to get revenge.
The two work together to take out the competitors. The protagonist crushes someone’s foot so badly they cannot continue. The snake manages to rip a girl’s dress to embarrass her. The two are able to skillfully dodge all the jabs too with some quick spins and lifts.
During the strong opponents, the protagonist is able to slash someone’s face with her heel and the snake was able to trip them long enough for them to stand on them as if they were just carpet. They win the grand prize and the protagonist is really happy.
Unknowingly, the snake approached her for a reason and wants to win her heart just to break it. The protagonist broke up with him in China and he tried to drown himself in the Springs. He got saved by the Guide and with a snake body, he vows to get revenge on her.
I won’t lie. I had Villain!Deku under my belt until I started getting writer’s block. I had a lot of the stuff organized and ready to go before things just fell through,
I am here today to explain my middle school, messed up version of Villain!Deku and Villain!Katsuki.
As kids, they were kidnapped by the League of Villains and experimented on. They were made to be puppets. All For One decided to give them multiple quirks that would suit them. After each “test,” they would be rewarded a new quirk.
I made Deku trans (male to female) in this series. They were uncomfortable with their body other than around Katsuki and likes to present female at all times. I will not try to expand more.
Izuku’s quirks were bunny athleticism, mind manipulation (including telepathy), levitation, and voice manipulation.
A combination of random quirks I saw on Deku that I thought were interesting. My old notes had the reasons for each quirk but I deleted them.
Katsuki’s quirks were the explosion, fire, fire manipulation, and fire resistance.
They transfer to UA undercover under Toga Mizuki and Himura Kazuto with new haircuts.
They are roommates and live together in a single house. They soon become the prodigal duo at their school.
They planned the attack on UA and find out All Might’s secret, but they soon learn their true origins of where they came from.
The last installment of Digimon: My Digital Story. This is a spinoff before saying goodbye to this series. This is more fusion based than data squad, but DATS does exist in this universe. This is also inspired by a korean show called mix master. Definitely take a watch.
(Fusion) The Digital World and the Human World meet in a small town called Amber Town. It is in chaos and the spread was stopped by a weird force in the town. Digimon are loose everywhere and cannot leave, but it is not their concern. They are more concerned about the competition to be the most powerful digimon ever and be the hero of the Digital World.
The legend is that evil will arise and a portal to the human world opens. A human and the most powerful digimon must work together to defeat the evil. The human is said to be very humble.
Humans are too scared of digimon and digimon don’t like to work with each other. With nothing else to lose, a mad scientist creates the digivice to forge the bond with the digimon and enlists the help of Rosie to get it working. Rosie turns out to be the legendary human and is able to bond with digimon. She befriends Gatomon and BlackGatomon, sisters born from the same digital code. She finds out that the legendary digimon may have not been 1, but 2 digimon.
Join her alongside her best friend Emily with Neemon, crush Evan with Hawkmon, and everyone else.
