keefe : good news- a cute girl saw me do it

keefe : bad news- it was Sophie, and since she’s already seen me fall out of several trees, cry because i saw a fawn that was too small, and knows i can ride a unicycle, she’ll never think i’m cool no matter what i do. it’s too late. she knows

Okay so imagine if authors have a secret tumblr fan account of their own books and one day they announced that “hey, I have a secret tumblr fan account of my series” and all of the fans are trying to figure it out and they’re all like pointing at each other like

And then after a while this one big acc is thought to be the author and everyone else is like asking and begging for them to make a sequel to the series and the owner of that acc tries to convince them that they, in fact, isn’t the author and the whole thing just goes like

And the author is watching all of this chaos unfold through their own tumblr acc in which they followed only like 10 accs and make + reblog several posts abt their series so it’s technically a fan account, just that no one is suspicious of it 💀💀

cassius ripping keefe’s art that he worked really hard on to shreds because he didn’t study for an agriculture test (even though he did)?

nonono, we don’t do that here. 

we do:

-elwin hanging up almost - if not all - of the artwork/sketches keefe leaves out across splendor plains. hand poses etched into a napkin taped onto the wall, etc. 

-we do keefe getting embarrassed because “elwin, those are just bad doodles, don’t hang them up for everyone to see!” and elwin cheerfully going “they’re certainly better than my attempts at drawing stinky the stegosaurus! of course they deserve to be hung up!” 

-we do keefe spending a whole day holed up in his room painting some incredibly elaborate piece and wrapping it up in dinosaur paper as a gift for elwin

-we do elwin’s brain basically breaking at the quality and the gravity of the gesture and crying a lot of happy tears and lots and lots of hugs

-we do elwin still hanging up keefe’s “bad” doodles, but framing the paintings keefe gives him and putting them in spots where he sees them All The Time
