Confession: I'm kinda disgusted by kotlc smut fics. For starters, its a middle grade series with kids and you're writing SMUT fics about them?? It disgusts me a lot, especially the adult/minor ones. I dont really care too much for the adult/adult (ex; gisela/verspa, fintan/bronte) smut fics, because yk, they're adults, but they're usually not really any of them.
But smut fics on the kotlc crew??? HELL NO if you've written one, like genuinely written a smut fic, like a Sokeefe or Tiana smut, WTF. PLEASE don't talk to me. I love them sososo much, and I will read any fanfic of my otps, but a SMUT fic??????????????? No thanks.
idk maybe its just me but i really dont like people who write kotlc smut, or smut for middle grade in general (like pjo or hp).
then again it might just be me :p who knows?
(but seriously im so uncomfortable when i see a kotlc smut fic on like ao3 or wattpad... and its either kids writing the smut or adults writing it and its SO creepy-)

Keefe tried to kill Gisela-in-disguise-as-Cassius without any hesitation. Sophie punched Gethen with the Sucker Punch when he was tied up and posed no threat.
What makes Fitz's actions towards Alvar any different?
It's not the first time a character has tried to harm a family member. And Alvar posed a lot bigger of a threat to them at that time than Gethen did when Sophie punched him.
And also: Fitz tried multiple times to find ways to keep Alvar out of the fight without killing him. He tried to knock him out with an entirely harmless device. He tied him up. Even when the Neverseen was trying to goad him into killing Alvar, he told them he'd knock Alvar out instead of killing him.
Whether or not you think Fitz's actions were justified, he's not the only character to do something like this, and condemning him or saying that he's evil for this while ignoring similar actions by other characters is really unfair.

i tried searching for aldella fanfic on ao3 and may have found the most disturbing fic of all time. the author has to be joking cuz uhm…

Alden's "no reason to worry" thing makes it seem like he has a tendency to ignore problems/act like they don't exist, but the truth is actually the opposite. When the Council dismisses his concerns about Project Moonlark, he goes behind their back and spends 12 years searching for Sophie. He's constantly working on assignments, showing up in the middle of the night smelling like wildfires, etc.
He takes problems incredibly seriously. He just tries to downplay them for the sake of others, while trying to handle them on his own.
(That's what happens when someone is raised as the sole child of one of the most influential families in the world. He thinks that he's supposed to be capable of dealing with every problem by himself. That's also why, when he mind breaks, he doesn't tell anyone about the guilt he's feeling until it's too late.)
can’t tell wether I want to make a post complaining about the new Doctor Strange movie or being really happy about the KOTLC 9th book.
