Have you bought it? Is this version of me digestible?) Is this lie convincing? (Would you love me if I was being honest?)

I think about him at Alvar's tribunal, and how that's the worst he's ever looked publicly. I wonder what his 'alone' must have looked like.

Fitz Forgiven By Sophie Too Easily?

So, don’t get me wrong, I like Fitz as a character, but one thing that always makes me frustrated is how easily Sophie forgives Fitz when he blames her for something. It’s pretty obvious she likes him, and he likes her also. She always says that she understands why he was acting the way he was (which, yes, it was understandable). What makes me frustrated, is that she isn’t like that all the time with the others. Obviously Sophie will, probably, always forgive her friends because she cares about them (as we can see from situations such as Keefe “joining” The Neverseen) there are just certain things I didn’t quite get. For example, when Dex accidentally made the gadget that was going to be used by the council to take away her abilities until she was “ready” to be responsible with them. He would not intentionally hurt Sophie like that in any way, he just was happy to finally feel useful. And though Sophie knew Dex didn’t mean to do it, she still had a hard time forgiving him (but she eventually did). When Fitz, even though the circumstances were understandable, knew what he was doing and Sophie seemed to have taken it better (he did apologize though. That made me feel a lot better. The boy isn’t a jerk😂. I am also aware he was in a lot of pain because of Alden’s state). I know that the situations were MUCH different and Sophie had the right to feel bad or freak out as much as she wanted, I just felt like it may not have been as fair to my little baby Dex Dizznee over here. That’s just one situation out of a couple that I’ve found, and I just want to end this by saying that this is my opinion. I’m not trying to make you agree with me, I just feel this way personally. Please don’t freak out on me too much. Feel free to tell me your opinion on this subject. Coolio?

Kenric is alive (and maybe in the Neverseen?)

He is mentioned more times after his death than before.

And when he is mentioned, it isn’t super necessary. Shannon didn’t have to write so many Kenralie scenes, she could’ve just made all of his cache memories about Elysian if opening Kenric’s cache was only to forward the plot. But she adds Kenralie into it for emotion, so he will definitely hopefully somehow be in book 10 and it will be related to Oralie in some way.

How did Gisela get to Elysian?

He was investigating Elysian and may have had a way to get there.

Possible that he didn’t erase all of his memories about the investigation since we only saw one in his cache, and that was probably because he didn’t want to get Oralie into trouble for being involved.

Fitz is either going to die or become Councillor

Personally, I’m leaning towards Councillor because he deserves a good redemption arc.

Avery means “ruler of the elves” possibly implying that he will become a Councillor, aka a literal ruler of the elves.

He also shared insecurities about not being the leader anymore in Stellarlune, so him becoming Councillor would come full circle.

Hopefully Shannon can make both options more than just a plot device to end the love triangle

Second Forkle dies, super emotional scene of him being planted next to his brother.

Because emotion

Like the fact that Forkle 1.0’s tree literally leaned over as if waiting for someone is so foreshadowing Forkle 2.0’s death.

He is also a very questionable character who could be killed off as an apology for the decisions that he has made.

His death would also have a super large impact on all the characters, as he is the main leader of the Black Swan, and has obviously assisted Sophie and her friends numerous times. He is also the principal of Foxfire, so that would also be a huge thing they would have to deal with.

Alina is Fitz’s mom

Vacker thing about one dad, two moms and Fitz was the one to tell Sophie about this. Could be the real Vacker legacy????

He is a Telepath (Telepathy is rare) and his siblings are Vanishers (Vanishers are common); Alina was higher on Alden’s list

Obviously matchmaking has problems, but the whole genetics thing is still the determiner for abilities, and lists do have some proof behind their accuracy.

Also very possible that Alina could've beguiled Alden into it, playing on the fact that Alvar wasn't the son Alden wanted, and Alina may have promised that she could give him a better one?

Although what would her motivation be? And now she's a Councillor? Can you imagine if it turns out not one but TWO Councillors have secret children that would be insane.

Fitzroy (the name) means the bastard son of a king

if my previous theory is true (alina is fitz's mom) -> i need a della villain arc

She mentions being mistreated by humans, and one of the Neverseen’s main things is putting humans in a Sanctuary.

She’s a really good fighter

People have mentioned how Alden always seems to be in the way of the Black Swan’s plans, and Della could totally influence his decisions since they’re always described as a happy couple (which makes Alden cheating very unlikely but Alina is a beguiler...?)

She is a very powerful Vanisher and she kind of implies that she is hiding her true power in her husband’s shadow, kind of like Gisela…?

She is the only Vacker not injured by the Neverseen (idk if Shannon could even plan this far though tbh-)

But both Alden and Della aren’t in Stellarlune at all… which is kind of weird if this is going to be a huge plot point but uhm

(But like apparently Shannon doesn’t know how to outline a story so 💀)

I really don’t want this to happen, but if Alina does turn out to be Fitz’s mom I’m gonna need a Della villain arc to make up for it.
