i think if we changed the core aspects of each of these characters,,,they'd be friends

my hopes for mercury in volume 10 is either:

a.) fully embracing the evil life with him and tyrian being a silly evil little duo (unlikely, out of character and not even really where i want his character to go, i just think it'd be funny)

b.) emerald dragging him into a redemption arc kicking and screaming but he doesn't technically join a side, just follows emerald around (please please please please please)
