Oops I just kinda rambled in the first one I hope you don’t mind two what was your favorite monster and kid ? and do you have a backstory for them. Or what was you favorite chapter if not? jester and the sewer man are mine. Jester was a Boy Scout of sorts and he loved exploring his dads jokes and helping people. to bad all those things were twisted in the Nowhere

nah ofc I don't mind !! as for my favorite monster and kid, I feel like my two faves are definitely rusty from the two of a kind and maybe the entirety of what happened in the theater of the mind because that episode really made me think of otto in a soft way ! also southern voices. for me with rusty though, it's more on the level of the circus and clown aesthetic that I am just a sucker for, I have SO many circus / clown characters in my back pocket, but more importantly the idea of teenagers within the nowhere is just interesting to me because it begs the question how old do you have to be in order to not be allowed within the nowhere given the ferryman / candleman refused otto but said there would be a quarter involved where a high toll would be given on the idea of otto becoming a manifestation / monster in that realm or continue bringing children to the ferryman / candleman as a means of trying to get glimpses into a world he cannot be apart of. rusty is a pure example that there could just be some sort of age limit in regards to that, beyond my other speculations. also, also, it is so sad to think on the fact that story was never finished, and the high implication at that point that every child or person noone has encountered within the nowhere has DIED.

so it is asking us, did rusty die or not. and more than that, it wasn't an unintended death because each person who has fell victim to a horrible fate in some means always got captured by a monster, etc. but for rusty, whatever he was planning was intended so it's like. for some people, they can thrive in the nowhere, but for some other individuals, they want to leave so badly that they will do anything, literally anything, to get away from it.

doing work on my horror story atm so if I'm not doing stuff for the tson animatic / refs this is why !! in order of names, ages, and etc. pomdial jenkins, 24, he / him, openly homosexual jeremiah dolt, 26, he / him, repressed homosexual sanderson pole, 28, he / him, unlabeled ( has dated jenner ) jenner deco, 27, he / him ( trans ), homosexual wonder quail, 23, he / they / it, homoromantic asexual higgins super, 19, he / him, unlabeled but does seem to have an unrequited affection towards pomdial particularly jenner is trans male and doesn't have top surgery btw ( this is me projecting given I'm also trans male and I haven't gotten top surgery and I wanted more rep of that for my ocs so ) pomdial is latine, jeremiah is german, sanderson is irish but is cousins with jeremiah, jenner is swedish, wonder is african american, higgins' origins are unknown but he does have a british accent ( never been to london / lived in london though ) they're a local gang called the love hounds and all are relatively friends while others just straight up don't like each other there is more information but if people want to ask abt that lmk ! there's another member I'm drawing but I need to go over ideas for them, but the group goes from oldest to youngest, so the last member would likely be 18 years old I am also working on the demons for this horror story / the side characters including dr. fink fine / dr. fine, pomdial's sister, jeremiah's older brother, and I also want to include a dog that higgins probably owns because. Because I can.

I feel like people go to me being like " carmy why do you like otto so much " and on god, I could list several reasons that don't just pertain to my hcs on him that made me get attached, I have a whole field day and literal lore scape dedicated to this man and if bandai namco isn't going to fill in the gaps for us then I WILL !! I'LL DO IT !!!!

alrighty !! honestly there is so much that you could conjure up from how little info is given on otto and noone and even more than that the monsters and other kids, it really makes me want to go over each individual kid noone met and kind of figure out what lore you could put down from it and I mean while the comics aren't canonical at all, I really do feel like that's like an on and off statement to make from how much is pulled from the comics to where it's like if they retconned and or said they would be using more elements from the comics for future games, I ngl would not at all be mad and more excited fr !! lonnie and everyone involved did such an amazing job really and I would really like to see more podcasts like this from bandai namco

I think ch3 also triggered some of Otto's trauma or smth....? I mean, look how he reacted right after listening Noone's story. You know at the end of her dream The PA screamed scarily “Everyone needs someone. Don't leave me alone!” and sobbed when the Candleman took her, “Don't take her. Not this one too.”

A few seconds of silence and you can actually listen how unsettled he is for a moment. How his breathing slightly shuddered.

No wonder why he hugged her so tightly after that.

But then the mirror fell off and was broken bcs he held her too tight. I love how they put this kinda subtext in the podcast. The uneasiness of it. The writings on the wall... He also smacked a moth flying around the light, the little creature that fascinates Noone.
