The Biggest Bullshit About Every Wanting To Buy A Home Here In Hawaii, Is That Fact That A Lot Of New
The biggest bullshit about every wanting to buy a home here in hawaii, is that fact that a lot of new housing requires your name to be pulled from a fucking lottery before you can even conceive purchasing any of the newly built apartments/town homes here.
There is no way you are buying a home in hawaii. Not unless you're fucking shitting thousands of dollars out of your ass, which a lot of locals don't have.
Then people who do own homes put that shit up for rent for ridiculous fucking prices because they want that tourist/mainlander money.
Shit stinks.

I feel like it's weird to judge a new show (especially one only on it's first season) for it's plot or well, for how that plot is executed.
A first season can feel like there's shit missing or not enough of something because they have plans for more episodes and thus will potentially develop certain characters later.
Sometimes shows have really good 1st seasons but then the 2nd season comes around and it's like....ass...
Especially for anime because like some follow the pre-existing plot of a manga. But even then sometimes the manga isn't finished and like you have no idea where the story is going and what it will entail.
I just feel like we should have a little more patience with the stories we consume. Not everything can be amazing in its beginning. Sometimes you just gotta get through the appetizers before getting to the meal, you know?
Like not to sound like an anti, but like if a 10 year old is your comfort character you probably need to like talk to a therapist.
Sounding like some Happy Sugar Life shit
I’m going to say something controversial. While I don’t think RWBY did the best job at handling the whole racial allegory, I think they put in some really good stuff that had the potential to really be something. Like with Adam and Ilia showing the two sides of people who were (rightfully) angry at their oppressors and how Adam let that consume him into a power hungry monsters and how Ilia was able to overcome her angry and eventually direct it to something more constructive and not destructive.
Many people didn’t like the stuff with Menagerie but I feel it had a lot of good shit. There are extremists out there born from oppression and it’s also shown how people will equate one groups actions to the whole and how much the White Fang had hurt their cause more under Adam’s leadership then helped. It’s also good to know that the White Fang were not always that way with Blake’s dad being the previous leader who steps up to that role again once he sees how much the Faunus needs the White Fang and how they need a leader who doesn’t let their own hatred and anger cloud their better judgement.
While I admit I don’t really get how the whole Faunus thing works into the overall plot and feels more like world building flavor text, I’ll give the writers some props to trying to tackle it and I feel that as the series went on they did a better job at showing how prejudice and work in our society and who it’s not always in your face racism. Sometimes it’s snide comments, or seeing how minorities tend to be more impoverished. Atlas and Mantle does a good job at showing this and not just telling. You see more faunus in Mantle and barely any in Atlas, there is also Marrow who I think is a wonderful show don’t tell character too!
Idk i’m rambling. I think what I’m saying is, yes the RWBY racism allegory stuff isn’t the best, and it certainly doesn’t start out great, but I feel as they get into it later on you can definitely see the improvement.
Oahu is just island wide gentrification. With like a handful of exceptions.
