Let me just say that, out of all the possible ways MCR could have opened their reunion concert, Ray and Gerard recreating the opening to the "I'm Not Okay" music video sure as hell wasn't what I was expecting.

Like, they could have started with "Helena", which was the last song they performed live. They could have chosen "Vampire Money", because it starts with Gerard asking if the boys are ready. They could have played "Welcome To The Black Parade", because of the G-note.

But no, the guys decided that the way they wanted to open the concert, the first thing that they wanted the fans to hear after six years, was "You like D&D, Audrey Hepburn, Fangoria, Harry Houdini and croquet. You can't swim, you can't dance and you don't know karate. Face it, you're never gonna make it. I don't wanna make it, I just wanna..."

And I fucking love it.

Watching vengaza and noticing gerard giving ray a little poke in the back as he crosses behind him on the stage to let him know he’s there and not to crash into him and it just has such strong restaurant employee energy that I almost expected to hear Gerard yell “behind” right in the middle of acting like Mexico’s sexiest possession victim
