i have a really bad feeling that ferry is intentionally drawing parallels between yura and nikita.

they're both pretty similar at first glance, for starters - dumbass asshole rat man with too much hubris for his own good. also, the age gap between nikita and kolya is three years, the same as yura and and anya. they both have a woman who has pretty strong feelings for them (although in sanya's case it's a lot more ambiguous as to whether they're romantic or platonic than nadya), and whom they don't treat as well as they probably should. they both got small but visible scars from disastrous trips to the zone. and, they're both voiced by kyo.

pafl isn't like evillious where certain characters are represented by certain voicebanks, but it's still pretty consistent about voices in the songs. yukari is used for both beletskys at first. flower is used for both kazarins. but since occam's razor and onward, yura's voice has been kyo.
