to explain more thoroughly. when artists say to reblog our art, (writers, physical item crators, any type of creator is an artist imho), WE'RE NOT "GUILT TRIPPING" YOU, WE JUST DON'T WANT OUR FUCKING POST TO FLOP i dont understand how people dont get that, its a very simple concept. if theres reblogs, it will go to other people's fyp so they can support small creators!! everytime people make posts like this i see people saying "sorry i like your content, guess liking means hating it lmfao" thanks for liking my stuff! thanks for "saving it for later"! but "saving it for later" isn't going to help small creators whatsoever! people always blame the artist for "guilt tripping" or "baiting" people to like and reblog their content, like its not their fault the algorithm of this stupid ahh site doesn't push their work out! and we're not even forcing you guys to reblog our content. we simply just ASK for it!! we dont even bait with the ol'"if you dont reblog this, you're homophobic" type shi how do you THINK the popular art with 1000+ notes gets on YOUR fyp?? BECAUSE OF REBLOGS!! and im not talking to specific people, so dont get your pants in a bunch, im talking to the audience in general. you all, collectively, need to support smaller artists. if you like their content, reblog it, even if it feels like it doesnt "match your aesthetic". just do it. i promise, youll be helping out a LOT of people.
