More Regret—I mean Zenonia!

Hi. Its been a while. Too long probably but here I am! Still a desperate Zenonian trying to find content.

There still isn't much so yeah. More drawings.

Sorry, I've been in a long art block as of late. Managed to sketch something out of it though so yay. Still not out unfortunately so have this 1-2 hour drawing of Regret being Regret.

How is Regret really?

He's doing great.

No, he actually is.

But what I mean to tell you is how does a definitely fully functioning adult father Regret acts.

Oh you know. The usual. Pretending to be an adult. Pretending to be wise and know what he's doing. A general mess when it comes to anything remotely related to socializing because being exiled kills your social skills. Panicking internally if he's raising his kid right. Wondering how he's gonna gently tell said kid is adopted. Very very overbearing sometimes because he very much did not want his son to learn how to fight and be a warrior but loves his son so so much that he teaches him because if that's what his baby wants then he will give it.

(Give or take after a few failed attempts to talk to the bullies parents and stop it from happening. He really didn't want Chael to learn to fight. I wonder why?)

Oh. And judging by the flag he's holding... he does not how romance works! So don't ask him for any advice regarding your relationship with Frey, Chael. You're on your own.

So yeah. I don't really ship Regret with Elisa. I like to think their relationship is sort of what he had with Sun. But feel free to ship. Personally, I just don't ship him with anybody.

(Does Regret know he's aroace? No.)

I'm trying to make Regret and Chael not look like each other because duh they shouldn't be but I headcanon that Chael tried to copy Regret's hairstyle so he can be more like his dad. Regret is amused but concerned. Runa thinks its hilarious.

Are we not gonna talk about the fact that Regret forgot to tell Chael that he's an angel??????

Oh lol, so Regret is from demon tribe and Chael is from divine tribe. Yeah this surely add to the angst in the family.

Someone that's not Regret or Chael! Woooooooo!

This time it's...Frey!

Yes. She looks different. That's her adult self but I changed her Zenonia 4 design that better suits the version of her in my AU.

As Celine, she was a pushover. While she has lots of power, she let so many people— the Divine Tribe—trample over her. She let herself become Shaman when its clear she's too young to do so and became the hope of the Dovine Tribe to the point her life just became a routine of praying and praying and praying with no end in sight. To the point she was separated from her brother for 3 whole years.

That changes when Chael comes along. He inspires her to act more for herself. To fight for her believes and what she believed was right and thats evident when she tries to talk to Temir about Chael and Runa's imprisonment.

She makes the decision to live on Earth. I don't know if its from reincarnation or she stole someone's life, I dunno man. She just lives with humans now.

As Frey, she becomes more of a fighter. She's willing to be more upfront and tell others off when they take it too far. She defends Chael, the same way Chael has done for her.

(Don't ask about the timeline. Please don't ask about the timeline I don't know either—)

But she still wasn't able to change fate. She becomes Celine again when she let Regret go, when she let Chael go, knowing for a fact that they won't come back the same.

Some don't even come back alive.

In the aftermath of the Hard Mode Ending, she realizes her inaction became the consequence of Chael's survivors guilt and depression along with Mr Regret's death. So she changes. She learns to use her strength to fight for her own and fight for others, the same way Luxferre had done, the same way Chael and Runa had done.

Frey learns to fight for hope, not just give it or just say false promises. This time she has a drive. A will to fight for that hope to come true.

She had been training with Mr Regret after Chael disappeared. She begged him to train her and in worry of the same thing happening to Frey, Regret agrees.

Even with him gone, Frey continues training and when Chael is enlisted to help Deva Castle after Iris and Outer Iris literally burns, she joins. Both as a medic and a fighter.

When Chael tries to convince her to not join the frontlines, she tells him that she's doing this because she wants to. She wants to be by his side to help him fight for everyone. And Chael, knowing Frey, backs down and lets her. Still watching over of course but Frey does the same anyway even when Chael becomes the 1st Commander of the Royal Guard.

She trains under Ecne who teaches her how to use a gun, becoming a soldier in the skies. She fights the Devil Tribe that tries to get the humans on the ground and becomes a healer when there's time.

Frey trains long and hard and eventually she becomes the commander of the air force with some of the Divine Tribe helping the humans fight the Devil Tribe.

Oh yeah and they kinda had a civil war before that. The Divine Tribe—especially the ones from Midgard—did not want to work with humans at all. But Chael and Frey deal with it. Frey telling them all of the human's achievements like defeating fucking Ladon. Chael just politely begs them to get their shit together so they can fight the Devil Tribe and end this grueling war.

I just wanted Frey to be more active as a character, as support sure, but still actively fighting.

Am I mass posting Zenonia content? Yes. Yes I am. There's nothing. Bruh. So Imma be a good fanon citizen and fill this shit up.

So. Regret and Pardon, the first characters we see in the Zenonia series.

We never really saw what their father-son relationship looked like so I'm here to rectify that even if I'm not sure how to write it.

Kid Regret is going through 'I'm an adult now' phase while having saddened puppy dog eyes when his dad leaves to visit his other child.

Context: his wife didn't want to raise Regret because her and Dupre weren't ready to raise two children so Dupre became Pardon to raise Regret in secret. But then she died and now he's going from house to house to raise them.

Pardon is just trying his best for the two of them while respecting his wife's wishes.

While Kid Regret doesn't know why Pardon's leaving all the time, he wants to prove he's worth staying for.

(Someone planted those seeds of doubt in Regret's head.)

The armor was sooooooooo hard to draw. Goddammit Pardon, wear some normal clothes for godsake!

Also, Pardon's hair looks like a fucking coconut so if his hair looks like Sukuna that's because I used them as reference.

This is a scene of a fic I'm working on. Basically Pardon addressing the fact his son is currently experiencing child labor. And he doesn't get paid for any of it.

Pardon: They don't pay you?

Regret: I'm supposed to get paid?

But Regret just insists that he doesn't need it and he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart.

Pardon thinks the sentiment is nice but...his son's getting exploited.

The fic is basically kinda a time travel fic where future Regret memories slowly yet surely go to kid Regret just before his dad dies, so Pardon's not dead. Yay. But Pardon gets to react the slow transition and then the full transition later on.

The transition doesn't go smooth.

In fact, it is a very very rocky road for the two of them.

They don't have a good time.

The Geno and Sans dynamic brain rot is real I AM OBSESSED

They are brothers, they are twins, they are besties, they love each other, they tell each other puns in the middle of the night while Papyrus screams at them to stop cause it’s three am, they bother their lil bro on the undernet telling him how cool he is, they play with Frisk and take turns to take them on their blasters, their blasters are besties, their blasters’s names are all the names of bones, Sans forced Geno to change clothes cause monsters are dumb (affectionate) and keep mistaking them, they call each other on the phone and pretend they don’t know each other while sitting on the same sofa, Sans thinks Geno is too weird and amoral sometimes and he always tells him off, they have two different fast food stands and are rivals, one sells hot cats and the other sells fried snow, they keep changing from stand so no one really knows which one belongs to who, Geno claims the white dog is God and Sans thinks he’s joking but is very concerned cause he says it very seriously, Geno is scared of the dark and Sans finds it hilarious and always reminds him of it, Geno also finds it hilarious, they will mess with each other but they will not allow anyone else to do so especially if it’s a human, they put their debts on each other’s tabs (Papyrus ends up paying for both tabs), now there are two socks lying on the living room but each day they are two different socks

Blood. So blood surrounding this man for many many many reasons.

He's also a dropout engineer student. Or architect. Idk. He builds things. Mostly buildings. Like in Minecraft :D

The irony is not lost on him. He knows and he loves it. Jon taught him. While drunk. Yes.

He's also trained by an ex military personnel. Or just a firefighter. Idk. Also drunk.

And most of them? They're dead :)

He becomes the commander of Alpha Haven after he returns. Also katana. Yeah. Thats cool. A very angry pinkenette taught him.
