Hey guys! The next part of my Zach Varmitech x OC story is out now! Took me a while to finish this one. I wanted to make sure it was written just right! There’s some intriguing backstory in this part, which I hope you guys will like! Enjoy!
I totally believe this is true. You can see it a bit here when his hair is soaked. Most of it looks wet and straight, but there’s that little curl sticking up at the end! And even the wet hair looks as if it could have been straightened out before hand. Zach just got splashed here and if he didn’t fix his hair right after, we might have seen his hair dry and bounce back into curls!
You can also see it a bit when he’s a kid. He’s not using gel yet, but most of his hair looks like it’s been straightened. You could argue that it just looks like he has naturally straight hair, but again you see those little sprigs on top! Not to mention his hair dives into a bit of a wave, which tells me that his natural wavy hair is trying to emerge. As someone with naturally wavy hair, I can tell you that even straightened the hair goes into a bit of a curve on the ends. Probably the reason he eventually started using hair gel: to keep his hair neat and perfect like he wanted it to be.
Curly Haired Zach Confirmed?
So that stray piece of hair that usually goes across Zach’s forehead is sticking straight up here, and, in my humble opinion, it looks curly. I know it always looks wavy across his forehead, but this is a bit different. It is more noticeable from this perspective, I guess.
This leads me to wonder if Zach MIGHT have wavy or curly hair. Even if this is the case, I feel like he would do everything in his power to ensure that it was sleek and straight, to avoid looking "messy" if in fact his hair is naturally curly/wavy. I know many of us have headcanoned that Zach uses a ton of hair spray/ hair gel to maintain his "perfect hairdo."
But, and I'm unsure if anyone has discussed this before, MAYBE he uses such excessive amounts of hairspray or gel after he straightens his hair? He will straighten his hair then spray or gel it to keep it from doing...well, what we see in this picture.
So, I guess this is a new headcanon for Zach, anyone agree?
