Mark you calendars fellow Canadian Wild Kratts fans! The new episode "City Hoppers!" airs on TVO Kids on Monday July 9th 2018! I've been waiting so long for this episode! I can't wait to see if any of my theories about it are true! Tune in to TVO Kids next week to find out!
Wild Kratts Season 5 “City Hoppers!”
Okay, so I just found out that in Season 5 of Wild Kratts there’s going to be an episode called “City Hoppers!” that has Zach, Donita, and Paisley all working together!
The Wikipedia page says this about the episode: “While the Kratt brothers investigate the creature powers of grasshoppers, Aviva and Koki help Wild Kratts Kids Nolan (Nolan Kratt) and Sani (Zoe Fraser) build a catapult. Meanwhile, Donita Donata and Paisley Paver visit Zach Varmitech’s headquarters.”
I’m so excited about this episode because I’ve always had an idea about an episode like this since they added Paisley as a character! I kind of had a theory that if all three of them met, Zach and Paisley would become fast friends because of how much they have in common, like how they’re both industrialists and like the colour gray. Then, I thought that because Zach was paying attention to another woman besides Donita, even if he doesn’t have any romantic feelings towards Paisley, that Donita would become jealous and begin to try hard to earn Zach’s affection, like the way he’s been with her whenever they’re paired together in the show.
Anyways, I’m super excited to see this new episode and to see if my theory was right in any way!

how do you think the villains first reacted to meeting the wild kratts crew in their giant life like fursuits that genuinely mimic the animals functions
It's 1 reaction but it has multiple stages. Like grief!
Confusion: huh. That's a really big animal. Oddly colored, too.
Greed: it's so unique. Exquisite. I must have it for my evil plans. I'll become famous for finding the first _____ that looks like this!
Realization: It talks?? Holdon, that's no animal, that's a person in an animal suit
Fear: what the hell. They're coming closer. Oh god they're so fast. oH GOD THEY JUST TORE APART METAL OH SHI-
Not to mention all the mentions he gets by the other villains in their episodes, whether it be that he invented something for them or they’re just poking fun at him!
Overall, Zach is definitely the main antagonist of the show and the self proclaimed leader of the villains!
I just mapped out all Wild Kratts Episodes that feature a Villain (118 in Total up to Amazin' Amazon Adventure) because I have to watch these for the Change your Mind AU and...
I crunched the Numbers, approximatley 50% (51 Episodes) of all Episodes include Zach Varmitech!
Donita Donata comes next with approx. 25% (34 Episodes), Gourmand follows close by with approx. 20% (27 Episodes) and at the end of the line is Paisley with just approx. 5% (6 Episodes) of all apperances.
The Writers definitely have a "Favourite Child"
Happy 10th Anniversary Back In Creature Time!
Thank you to both @kaythefloppa and @jokerislandgirl32 for bringing to my attention that the pivotal Wild Kratts episode Back In Creature Time is 10 years old today!
I remember watching this special with my brother for the first time like it was yesterday! The fact that they had made a two part episode and added the time travel element to the show blew our minds back then! I remember every feeling I had when I first watched this episode, from the awe of the reveal of Aviva’s time trampoline and Zach’s invisibility cloak to the absolute chills I felt when that Zachbot almost incinerated the return pad. And the Kratt brothers were really able to get their message about animal extinction across in a deep and powerful way that has stuck with me since.
I could fan girl so much more about how much I love this episode, but I think I’ll leave it off here! Thank you to the amazing episode Back In Creature Time for giving us such a fun adventure and adding so much more to the plot for us to geek about! Both me and my brother eagerly await the return of the time trampoline in all its glory in a future episode! I for one would love to see them travel back in time once more in another Back In Creature Time!
