For Pyrrha.. I always find it hard to come up with alternate designs for her cause her original one was already pretty much perfect. I gave it another shot though. And the one on the far right is what I think I am more satisfied with. The ones in 2019 (so basically 4 years ago.. god damn.. ) I did like parts of it looking at it now but i was still a bit new on the outfit designs at the time.

Okay hear me out.

Instead of Jaune being “poor suffering only brother to bunch of sisters who forced him to do girly stuff” what if INSTEAD we had “only brother of a bunch of sisters who yes did do some Suffering but is now also immunized and experienced in All Things Feminine and so he’s actually the best teammate/leader Pyrrha and Nora could ask for.”

Why have “insecure teenager who had too many sisters” when we could have “as a survival mechanism Jaune evolved into the Mom Friend and there is no going back”.

More thoughts on Mom Friend Jaune:

-He’s the designated team hair stylist and he is happy to help his teammates (Ren included) with all hair styles and brush tangles.

-He carries at least four hair ties on one wrist at all times just out of habit, yes they are different colors and types, yes one of them is a glittery scrunchy, no, he sees nothing wrong with this and feels no threat to his masculinity because a Good Man and Teammate Helps His Female Friends With Glitter Scrunchies. He learned that from his oldest sister and everyone knows she’s right about everything.

-He has a Radar for “female companion/friend about to enter their shark week” and will stock up on products without being asked and won’t say anything until there is a Need and he’s just casually fishing the required item out of his mission backpack or school bag like it’s nbd.

-When he’s not following his father’s Terrible Romance/Flirting Advice he’s low-key very charming and it’s entirely unintentional. What do you mean most guys aren’t able to doublecheck if their female friend’s makeup is on right and if their eyeliner is coordinated? Can’t you just Tell?

-Like this boy knows how to dance and dance WELL in canon because of his sisters so lean into that and mix in the hilarity of Jaune not being fully aware of just how Mom Friend he is. Doesn’t everyone know this stuff? It’s just useful stuff to know if you have female friends in your life isn’t it?
