Rewatching early episodes of WWDITS and I wish Nadja got more credit for how soft and empathetic she can be! In S1E2, when the vamps are hunting, she sees Jenna being belittled and excluded by the LARPers, and her reaction is to relate to Jenna because of the way she herself felt when she was growing up. That’s deep empathy! She turns Jenna into a vampire to give her power and confidence, then (on her own!) seeks Jenna out to mentor her and help her discover that power and confidence.

Sometimes I feel like she has a reputation for being cold and uncaring and dismissive except for when it comes to Laszlo and occasionally her other housemates - but that’s never been true. She’s complicated and nuanced and she can be compassionate to random humans just like the rest of them.
