I think it's so sweet that Colin gets to be the catalyst that's thrown them full wack into being a true found family.
Colin, who despite his very nature, tried so often to get them to do things together, to try and fix arguments, who was worried about taking a promotion because he didn't want less time for them.
And I love that Colin has a clean slate too, he actually gets to be involved now, he gets to be a true part of the family and not just a guy always treated with distrust who's just kind of there most of the time.
A random thought that just occurred to me in relation to this post: they never said energy vampires could only feed on negativity, did they? Like wouldn’t it be fucking wild if this version of Colin Robinson actually grew up to feed on love, because that was the primary emotion present in the house?
