People who think Miguel O'Hara is a master liar are so funny because you know what a master liar would do -

they would NOT tell Miles Morales his dad is dying in 2 days

Miguel is honest to a fault, but the contention lies in that what he believes is anathema to what Miles believes

He tells Miles what he thinks he needs to know but doesn't tell him truths that would only hurt him until he becomes angry enough to do so ("you're the original anomaly")

He's not trying to manipulate Miles. Miguel didn't lie even once in ATSV. His faults are elsewhere.

If you’re living in the US and reading this right now, I need you to know that if republicans take over office this next election, human rights are as good as dead.

The Heritage Foundation, a major Republican think tank, has published a 1,000 page document detailing how they want conservatives to take over the government and what they think should be done as soon as they’re in office. It is, in a nutshell, a call for fascism.

If you’re trans, know that one of the things it includes is basically banning trans people from having our existence acknowledged and it’s worded in a way where you could reasonably understand it to mean that being trans and going out in public is enough to get you put in jail for exposing minors to porn.

If you’re an immigrant, sanctuary cities are also going to be dead under this plan as district attorneys who don’t enforce the federal laws they plan to implement will be charged with crimes as well and they’re banking on them not being willing to pay the fines they’d be charged with in order to protect you.

If you care about climate change and safety regulations, kiss the regulations goodbye and prepare to watch the environment slowly get destroyed.

So, so hesitant to physically fight you. He tries to go for more on the offense, refusing to make an actual attack against you

SWK and Macaque are understanding of MK's problem and take the lead more or less

As soon as he sees LBD yeet you, he goes and catches you. He gets you somewhere safe--probably the van?--and then he fights like HELL

When the fight is over you wake up when everyone is on their way to FFM(the gang is riding in the van). MK's hoodie is over you like a blanket and he's holding you close like he's worried you might disappear if he doesn't.

He's tense. He's overthinking everything. He can't believe he let all of this happen. He 1000% believes it's all his fault.

Just sit there and cuddle up to him and squeeze his hand and reassure him he couldn't have known any of this would happen.

He'll get you whatever food and drinks you want the next few days, abuse that power however you want lmao

Super sweet, always makes sure you're alright with being left alone and if not he takes you with him on deliveries

He's going to be way more protective of you from now on
